CHAPTER 31 (2/2)

"Why did you kiss me?"  she shouted while she stood up and fix her shirt and hair.  I sat up and chuckled.

"Because I want to, and you responded too, it means that you want it as well."  I smirked and she let out a sigh and walk away from me.  I stood up and grabbed her hand.

"Where are you going?"

"Away from you!"

"Why?"

"Why?  Why are you doing this to me?  Are you flirting or something?"  she said and I gasped and let out a small laugh.

"Do you remember when I invited you for dinner?"  I asked her.  She looked down then nodded.

"You slept when I have told you everything that I want to tell."  I said.  She looked up with a questioning look on her face.

"Sorry if I slept, but, you can say it now if you want."  she looked at me and I stared at her black eyes.  I took a deep breath and held both of her hands.

"Erika, I know that we just met but I just can't help it, I think, no, I am definitely in love with you."  I managed to say.  She widened her eyes and looked at me.  I smiled and brought her hands at the top of my chest.  She gasped.

"Can you feel it, it beats abnormally whenever I'm with you, especially after I kissed you.  Erika, I love you."  I continued then she is not doing anything.  She remove her hands from my chest and she looked at me.

"You don't love me, you're just happy that someone has helped you with your problem, that is not love, you're just~"

"What are you talking about?"  I asked her with my eyebrows creased.

"I mean, you don't love me, you're just happy that someone is with you, and we just met for like, a week, it's impossible for you to love me in a short period of time."  she explained and sighed annoyingly.

"So are you saying that I'm lying?  That I don't know what I feel?"  I asked her and she glared at me.

"What I'm trying to say is that~"

"What?  That you don't like me?  That's why you're pushing me away?  Fine, you know, why don't you just tell me that you hate me, why do you need to say those things?"

"I am not saying that I hate you, what I am trying to say is that you need to make sure that what you're feeling is love, because~"

"Because what?  I can see that you really hate me that much.  I'm not going to say anything, I'll take that as a no,"  I said as I begin to walk away.

"Wait!  Seungri!"  I can hear her scream but I didn't look back.  Damn it!  This is the first time that I did this and I will be rejected?  Aish!  I can feel tears in my eyes but I brush it off.  I really hate this feeling.  Why do people always think that I am a flirt and I don't know how to love truly?  What hurts more is that it's her who is thinking that way.  It's a lot more hurtful than being rejected.  I went straight to my room and locked the door behind me and started packing my stuffs.

She can feel her legs wobble as she sat down on the sand and hands on her face.  She tried to follow him but she don't have the energy to do so.

"What did I do?"  she whispered to herself while hugging her knees in her chest and sobbed silently.  She heard someone call out for her when she lifted her head then wiped her tears as her friend went near her and crouched in front of her.

"Why are you crying?  What happened?"  Janine wiped her tears away and lifted her chin.

"He, just confessed."  she said in between hiccups.

"OH, then that's great, but why are you crying?"

"I, I actually, push him away."  Erika further explained.

"What?  Why?"

"I am so shocked that I didn't know what to say, so I said that what he's feeling is not true~"

"Kyah!  Why did you say that?  Any guy will be annoyed if you tell that to them.  My gosh Erika you're such a pabo!!"

"Thanks a lot,"  she whispered then she stood up.

"Okay, I am sorry, but~"

"I know, I am really scared what will happen if ever I say I love you too.  I am afraid of the future.  Of him leaving, me staying behind.  Do you think he will still feel the same if I'm not going to be around?  For Christ's sake Janine, he's a celebrity, he's Bigbang's Seungri."  Erika said.  Janine just sighed and nodded.

"I understand what you feel, you've never been in a relationship so it's understandable, at least for me, but I bet he's really disappointed, I guess.  But, you need to give him a chance too, people change, and it doesn't really mean that what he's feeling right now is not true,"  Janine further explained and Erika let out a loud sigh.

"What should I do now?"  Erika asked her friend.

"Hmm, we're going back to Singapore later today., and I am leaving tomorrow, I think you need to talk to him once he's cool.  I think once we arrive in Singapore, you can talk to him, and let him understand the situation."  she said as she tap her friend's shoulder.

"Thanks Janine.  I don't know what to do without you."  Erika pulled Janine into a tight hug.  Before they went back to the bungalow, she noticed the two paper bags on the floor.  Erika picked it up and sighed.  She looked at her left wrist and saw the bracelet.

"You bought that from the souvenir shop?"  Janine asked while they're walking.

"Seungri purchased the shirts for the two of us, then this bracelet was given by the lady at the shop, they said that they give it to couples who shop from them."  she said and Janine smiled at Erika.  "But I guess he's not going to wear this anymore, but I want to wear mine."  The continued walking then they reached the bungalow.

"Do you want me to give the shirt to Seungri and ask him to wear it?"  Janine offered.  Erika nodded and handed the paper bag to her friend.  Janine knocked on the door and Seungri opened it.  She handed the paper bag to him.  He grabbed it.

"Erika requests for you to wear that, and she says sorry, she wants to talk to you about what happened earlier~"

"Thanks, I'll be out in a minute, so that we can go," he closed the door with a bang and Janine was startled.  She went back to the room and shook her head.  Her friend just sighed then they continued fixing their things.
