Malevolent (1/1)

Kibum's eyes opened slowly his head throbbing and throat dry. He looked around carefully, squinting against the dim light that filled the room around him. The walls were made of concrete; three small windows were situated in the top center of one of them, probably not even big enough to fit his head through let alone his whole body. Not that he could reach them, his arms were bound behind his back, his feet tied down to the legs of the chair he was sitting in. There was no light from the windows signifying it was still night time. There was a small cough behind making him jump in surprise "Wh-where are we?" Heechul's voice rasped from directly behind him. It took him a second to calm down and get his heart rate back to normal before he answered "I don’t know... I don’t even remember what happened". Kibum turned his head slightly to the side to see Heechul. The older was in the same situation as him, bound to a chair but facing the other way so he couldn’t see his face. Heechul began coughing again, softly at first but then growing louder and more violent until he could hear the others chair creaking dangerously as if it could break at any moment "Heechul..? Heechul whats wrong?!" Kibum shouted hoping the other could hear. Of course he couldn’t, ever since Heechul had woken up he’d felt like crap. His body was heavy, his head throbbed painfully, his throat was bone dry and it felt like all his muscles had turned to jelly, just shifting in his chair winded him slightly. He hadn’t felt like this since… since he changed? He knew that couldn’t be good. A few minutes later once he had finally stopped choking, the large metal door on the other side of the room opened, spilling a harsh bright light into the small space. He squinted and felt the younger behind him scoot instinctively closer knocking his head into the back of his own. Three figures stepped through the threshold and he recognized them immediately as the three vampires that had kidnapped them. He forced himself to sit up straighter and look threatening, but it was no use, even he knew he probably looked as menacing as a wet kitten. The three came to a stop before him and he got his first real look at their captors. The woman was short and definitely had a smaller build then him, yet she had been able to restrain and knock him unconscious. She had long straight brown hair that hung down her back, and a pretty face, but something sinister was hiding beneath her gentle façade if the menacing glint in her eyes was any indication. The man was tall, he had jet black hair and a stony face, if looks could kill Heechul would be dead. The girl looked the same as the last two times he had seen her, except for a change of clothes, her hair also looked shorter as if she’d recently gotten a haircut. He also noticed the two adults were wearing all black, the woman a dress and the man black jeans and a black t-shirt, while the girl was wearing a white dress that flowed out and reached her knees, with shoulder length sleeves. She approached him cautiously her eyes boring into his, intimidating him. She looked like an angel as the dress moved with her, making his heart clench in pain, he didn’t understand why she affected him so much. it was an accident he had meant to cut her life so short, he should feel better that she wasn’t really dead right? But for some reason this fate seemed so much worse… darker even. He didn’t even know her yet she stirred up all this emotion in him he felt like crying for forgiveness, and punching a wall all at the same time. She stopped less than a foot away and reached out a small hand towards him but was stopped short when the woman spoke “Sulli darling… wait” she appeared behind the girl placing a hand on her shoulder. She chuckled as she stared down at the broken man, eyes filled with fake sympathy “It’s too bad we have to do this to you” Heechul just glared up at her opening his mouth to say something snarky but was unable to form the words as another violent fit of coughing took his ability to speak. She laughed outright, but then went silent waiting for him to settle. “What do you want?” Heechul forced out as he panted trying to regain his breath. “Well with you… nothing really, but your friend, you see, he has a very… unique purpose. You were just in the wrong place at the time, you both were I suppose. I was really after your more… masculine friend” she paused and stifled a giggle while licking her lips “but he disappeared and that left you two, it’s a shame really” she answered truthfully, the smirk adorning her face making his blood boil. He really wished he wasn’t bound to a chair, if he wasn’t he’d show her what a REAL bitch slap felt like. She looked to the girl “Alright, you may, but leave just a little left in him, I don’t want him to go that easily… it won’t be any fun” she pouted nudging Sulli, he guessed that was her name, forward. In an instant there was a sharp stabbing pain on his shoulder as she sunk her fangs into his flesh. Heechul yelped in pain, but didn’t have any strength to struggle or even scream. “Heechul!? Heechul what are they doing?!” Kibum’s words fell upon deaf ears and faded along with his failing consciousness as he fell limp against the chair, feeling his life slowly drained from his body. There was something bugging him, and he began racking his brain trying to remember. He knew it was something important. Finally a blank face materialized, then two beautiful brown eyes, followed by soft angel white hair, and the pair of thin pink lips that he loved so much. A tear leaked from one of Heechul’s now closed eyes, one name resting on the tip of his tongue. “Hannie…” He whispered before slipping into complete darkness.
