Good Night (1/1)

Chapter One: Good Night            The clanging of castle guards and knights armor against the cobble-stoned paths echoed throughout the Kingdom.          "Find the girl!" A guard yelled, "We shouldn't disapoint the king!" gaurds continued to pile through the entire kingdom in search for one girl.            At Jo Castle          "Excuse us Queen Jo," A gaurd bowed, "We're sorry for interupting your evening, but do you happen to know the wehereabouts of Princess Lee Jae. She seems to have vanished, and King Lee is quite distressed."          "No, I do not believe I have." She informed them. "Good luck with your search, men." She then ordered for the great doors to close. m style="color:rgb(64,224,208);font-family:'trebuchet ms', helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:14px;font-weight:bold;">   ~ Jae's Point of View ~              Jo Kwangmin's Room           I was laying on Kwangmin's bed whilst he was reading one of his books on traditional Korean languistics. Simply sitting here in silence was somewhat awkward, but considering how tired I was, I could care less. Kwangmin gently closed the book shut and looking up at me with a tired little smile.          "Jae, I'm tired. Let's go to sleep now."          "Sure." I answered simply.            He got up from his chair and motioned for me to scoot over. Once I did, he lay on the bed beside me.          "Jae, are you sure it's okay for you stay here tonight?" He asked.          "I've done it a countless amount of times so it shouldn't be a problem."           "I know, but it's a little different now isn't it?" He motioned closer, "Now that we're dating."          Kwangmin's breathe tickled my neck causing a slight blush to form on my face. I hadn't thought about that. Something like this would cause talk around the kingdom considering I was the sole princess of Elysium. There are already a countless number of bets and rumors on who I might marry, amongst everyone and I don't  want even more piled on top of that.             "Jo Kwangmin, Lee Jae!" Kwangmin's mother yelled as she kicked the door in. We quickly sat up off the bed and dreaded the earful we'd be getting. "Jae, your father is looking for you."           "Oh. He is?" Of the all the things I could have said, I stated the obvious.          "Yes." She crossed her arms. The panic in Kwangmin's eyes turned into a look of craftiness.         "Mommy, please let Jae stay the night. She was helping me with my Korean speech lessons." He said as he pulled the most innocent facial expression out of his ass. Her look didn't budge. She stared at us hard, and we tried our best to remain looking sweet but this was extremely nervewrecking.           "Alright then." Her face finally softened. She left, telling us she'd let my father know I was here. Despite how terrifying she could be I genuinely loved Kwangmin's mother.    ~ Kwangmin's Point of View ~          Jae and I sat on the bed, the atmosphere f. It was a sort of romanticly awkward atmosphere perfect for just cuddling, so I did. Pulling Jae onto my lap, I rest my head oh hers, and although Jae wasn't the type for cheesy romantic gestures  she didn't protest. I Can't believe she's my girlfriend. I'm such a lucky boy, but eventually she's going to have to marry hyung.          "What's wrong?" She looked up at me with those sincere eyes of hers.          "Nothing," I played it off, "So your getting married soon."           "Yeah, if you call two years soon." She was staring down at her finger and for a time there was silence.          "Do you ever wonder what your future is going to end up like? I really don't understand that feeling because it's as if my future's already set into stone." I've honestly never really thought about it to be honest. I knew that eventually, I'd have to give up on her because of her marraige with hyung. Thinking about it honestly made me feel uneasy, as if there was a gaping pit in my stomach.          "I honestly havent thought about it." I simply said, "But don't say things like that. " I smiled, "Try to be optimistic okay?" Then she smiled. 'This girl really makes me happy.' I took her hands in mine and looked straight into her pretty little eyes. Then for a moment I glanced at her pretty lips. She seemed nervous, but I reassured her with another smile. Okay! Here's your chance Kwangmin! Fighting!    ~ ?????'s Point of View ~          "Aish. Where is my special conditoner?" This really isn't funny.. I need to shower.    ~ Narrator's Point of View ~          Kwangmin's inched closer and closer to Jae's face, their stares were inpenitrable.    ~ ?????'s Point of View ~          I think I know where it might be.    ~ Narrator's Point of View ~          Jae and Kwangmin's faces were precisely only centimeters apart. Kwangmin leaned in closer, the bottom of their lips seperated by the space of the size of a speck of dust.     Bam!          With lips barely touched, Kwangmin's attempt at his first kiss with Jae, failed.    m style="color:rgb(64,224,208);font-family:'trebuchet ms', helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:14px;font-weight:bold;">~ ????'s Point of View ~          I busted through Kwangmin's door. 'I'm pretty sure I left my shampoo here when I bummed off in his room earlier this week.' When I finally stepped inside, I saw a startled look on Kwangmin and Jae's faces. A second later they looked as if they were about to kill something. 'I feel unlucky for the poor soul who they're angry at. Wait. Jae's here? Since when?'    ~ Jae's Point of View ~          'Oh my god. Youngmin. You. Did. Not. Just. Do. That. YOUNGMIN YOU SERIOUS COCKBLOCKER. How could you destoy such a moment like this. I-it...it was the most perfect feeling ever.'           "Oh lookie here." Youngmin came prancing out of Kwangmin's bathroom with this bottle of hair conditioner. He then looked over at me. 'Youngmin as much as I love you as a person, I'm mentally strangling you right now.' "Jae, why are you here in our home? And especially in Kwangmin's room?" He had on his famous doe eyes that meant he was seriously innocent, and oblivious to the things that were going on. For a moment I really felt bad about being angry, I mean, this boy was really precious.          "Oh, Auntie, er - I mean your mom said I could stay the night."           "Ah.." He rubbed his chin in a rather funny fashion that made me smile. "Well then I don't understand why you're in here then, " He took my hand and practically lifted me off the bed."I mean, it'd be more suitable to stay in the guest room we set up for your family, or...... my room." I still had a little smile from his previous actions before I completely registered what he had said. 'OH NO NO NO'. "I'm your my fiance after all.." He said at barely a whisper.          "Good night dongsaeng." He waved off to Kwangmin before he pulled me out the door and down the long, grand hallways.    ~ Youngmin's Point of View ~          I was finally alone with Jae, walking down this hallway, no parents, no servants, and no Kwangmin. As much as I care for both Kwangmin and Jae, It kind of irks me seeing them together. How selfish I must sound, don't I?           "Youngmin, where are we going?" Jae asked.          "Oh yeah..  to the room you'll be sleeping in silly." I smiled.             "Oh, okay then." She didn't ask anymore questions afterwards, how obedient she was, was strangely..adorable.          "Here we are," I opened the door and led her in.           "Youngmin this is your room."           "I'm aware." I yawned. I think I'm way too tired to shower now, its already 1 in the morning.          "Eh.. whatever, I'm freakishly tired. Night Youngmin. " She said as she got straight into my bed. 'I mean I know we've know each other since the beginning of time but couldn't you have atleast asked to sleep? Eh whatever~'    ~ Narrator's Point of View ~          "Hyung, you are such the cockblocker!" For the rest of that night was all Kwangmin could say before he hugged his pikachu plushie and fell asleep. "Hyung. You. Cockbolocker. You."  Authors Corner : Updated July 13I just realized what an awful mess the first chapter was and decided to edit it. The following chapters after this won't have much of a point of view change from Jae. Please do comment and subcribe, as I really do want everyones feedback and criticizim. Thank you very much for reading. -Rena <3
