The Concert (1/1)

Okay, I felt that this chapter was mandatory, but the next few chapters will be extremely good I hope.  I might be rushing things -_-  This one is mostly song lyrics though...Chapter 67: The Concert            “So how long do you guys plan to stay?” I asked Yonghwa over breakfast.            “A week or so.  You can come to our concert today!” Yonghwa exclaimed while shoving food into his mouth.            “Then we can celebrate your birthday!  And Minhyuk’s too!” I shouted excitedly.  Jungshin walked out of his room still in his pajamas.  He rubbed his eyes sleepily.            “What time is the concert?  Do we have VIP seating?” Jungshin asked while yawning.  Yonghwa enthusiastically launched into all of the details.            “Morning, beautiful,” Minhyuk said drowsily.  He kissed my cheek and plopped into the seat next to me to eat his breakfast.            Jonghyun walked into the dining room.  “Hey, you’re actually wearing clothes!” I exclaimed.  He laughed.  His hair was wet from taking a shower.            “The people in the U.S. don’t give us any privacy, so I can’t walk around in a towel,” he said while sitting down next to Yonghwa.            “That makes sense,” I said while yawning.            “Let’s get going, Yonghwa.  We need to go practice,” Jonghyun said while pulling Yonghwa up from his table.  They reluctantly went to the concert venue so they could rehearse.             “Wow, it’s like going to a CNBLUE concert,” Minhyuk said while we sat down in a corded off area for VIPs.            “Everyone’s so rowdy because it’s like a CNBLUE reunion.  But you guys aren’t going to sing, right?” I asked Minhyuk and Jungshin.  Several people were taking pictures of them.            “Not that I know of,” Minhyuk said while smiling for the cameras.  I chuckled.  After Yonghwa and Jonghyun went to study in America, they suddenly became Korea’s pride and joy again.  There were people of all ages in the audience instead of just ahjummas.  Several fan girls of Yonghwa and Jonghyun were glaring at me because we got the best seats possible.            “I wouldn’t mind singing,” Jungshin said while putting on sunglasses to protect his eyes from the camera flash.            “CNBLUE should make an appearance for next year’s recital at the school!  It can be other instruments than piano next year,” I said while waiting for the concert to start.  Minhyuk started to shake his legs.            “I feel like I’m on the wrong side of the stage,” Minhyuk said.  I chuckled and patted his back.  I guess he missed the feel of playing on a stage.            “I’ll be back; I just have to go to the bathroom,” I lied.  The two men nodded and Ieft to find Yonghwa and Jonghyun’s dressing room.            “15 minutes until show time!” I heard people shouting from everywhere.  I bumped into somebody.            “Misun-ah, what are you doing here?” Jonghyun asked while helping me up.            “I actually wanted to ask a favor, and Yonghwa needs to help too,” I said awkwardly.  Jonghyun nodded and waited for me to explain the favor.            “Can you guys perform one song as CNBLUE?  Minhyuk… his hand.  I really want him to have one last go at it.  Jungshin hasn’t played on a stage in a while too,” I told Jonghyun.  He smiled at me.  “Um, just in case Minhyuk can never play again… Well I really appreciate it, oppa,” I couldn’t find anything to say.  He just nodded.            “I’ll go tell Yonghwa to arrange something,” Jonghyun said while smiling.  He entered a room.  I rushed back to the auditorium quickly.             “Hurry, it’s about to start!” Minhyuk said as he told me to sit down in my chair.  I nodded quickly.            “Hey everyone!  Have you missed us?” Yonghwa shouted to the crowd as they entered the stage.  Loud cheers filled the auditorium.  Yonghwa and Jonghyun played several songs.            “Um, I’d like to sing this song for a friend,” Jonghyun said while smiling solemnly.  He began to sing. These Days by CNBLUE In the darkness, which could easily be wiped away (be forgotten)tomorrow, i saw somethingThe tears running down on the cheeks i softly touchedThe color (sense) of ticking timeYou were there The wind of that time is a piece of you I put in my heartI want, I want to stay aliveIn the days I spent with youI’m walking to one sideIn our paths, we both were seeing different thingsOur pieces fit all wrongIt did not fit, we could not find In the darkness, which could easily be wiped away (be forgotten)tomorrow, I saw somethingThe tears running down on the cheeks I softly touchedThe color of ticking timeYou were there If I chose another future on that day…?I asked myself reflected in a window swaying softlyI’m picking up piecesEven if it’s silly, if we could go back, I would never let you goYou broke my confusionI hope to keep from turning my back to the same dream

He played perfectly, but I could tell he was struggling.  It was only a single song, but Minhyuk was already sweating a puddle.  Jungshin played as if CNBLUE had never separated.  I smiled as I watched the four of them have fun while singing.            Once the song finished, Minhyuk and Jungshin took a quick bow and headed off of the stage.  Minhyuk sat beside me and whispered into my ear, “Thank you.”  I smiled at him.            “I love you,” I whispered while holding his hand tightly.            “I love you too,” he said as wrapped an arm around my shoulders.I hope you enjoyed!  Thanks for reading~
