Here I am, waking up in a playground. The streets of Busan are quiet during the cold, lonely night. I woke from the birds chirping and the sound of cars roaming the streets. I don't know if I will have a real place to stay tonight or if this public park will become my home. I'm hoping for a miracle to happen but, what are the odds? I'm loved by nobody. I have no friends, family, nothing. I guess I shouldn't dwell on the negative but it's difficult for me to pick out the positive in my situation.  Maybe it's time to grab something to eat since I hear the children walk to school. I leave my resting spot and reach into my pants and find a few coins, enough to buy me an apple. I try to cover my bruises and cuts that remain on my body but, I have only a limited amount of clothing. I feel everyone's eyes gravitate towards me as I walk down the sidewalks into the nearest grocery store. I stroll to the fruits and pick a fresh, vibrant red apple with no flaws. I never allow my eyes to leave the ground as I walk towards the cashier. The store is quite empty considering it's early in the morning therefore, I didn't have to wait in line. Again, I don't lift my head up to make eye contact with the man behind the counter, I just place the apple on the counter and begin to pull out the money from my back pocket.  "Eunjoo?!" The man from behind the counter called my name. I've heard this voice before, but it doesn't ring a bell. I lift my head to take a quick glance. "Eunjoo, it's Kai! What's wrong? You are covered in cuts and bruises! What's wrong with Baekhyun? He isn't answering his phone." All of Kai's questions hit me like a ton of bricks. Do I tell him that we are no longer together? What do I do? "His phone broke and this is just makeup for a video I'm in. I'm supposed to be the abused girl in the video, does it look good?" How stupid! He won't believe that! "Wow, I thought it was real! Good job!" Kai believed me, a sigh of relief came over me. "Ah, Eunjoo you shouldn't walk home alone. Although it's day I still don't feel comfortable with you walking all alone." "Your working though. I'll be fine." "My boss isn't here, it will only take a few minutes. Please, I want to." He hands me the apple and we walk out of the store. Silence grew and it was completely awkward. What will I do when we get to Baekhyun's apartment? I'm so nervous. "So tell me, what is the video for?" Kai asks to break the quietness. "Ah, it's a secret. I'm not allowed to tell anyone, sorry." I answer very uncomfortably. I couldn't think of anything, but Kai is gullible, I think he'll believe it.  "When you can tell me, please do. I'm curious." "Ah-" Before I can say anything, Kai interrupts and stops walking, he positions himself in front of me and holds my arms. I let out a small cry from his firm hands lightly squeezing my bruised arms. "Eunjoo-ah, something is wrong, I can tell. Please tell me. Is Baekhyun treating you right" "No oppa, I'm fine. Baekhyun is a good man to me. I promise." I smile to make my lies seem more believable. "If anything happens, please call me" He hands me his phone number which was pre-written on paper.  "Kai, I'll go in myself. Thank you for walking me here." I pray that he leaves so I can pretend to go to Baekhyun's apartment, but instead, roam around the city alone. "I need to tell Baekhyun something, since I'm here I'll do it now. Let's go" He suddenly grabbed me and we entered the building. After riding the elevator for 5 stories, we walk to the right and look for apartment 508. My heart begins to pound. Kai's arm wraps around me as he knocks on the door a few times. We wait not very long before the door starts to unlock. Baekhyun opens the door ever so slowly. "Kai? Why are you here?" His voice seemed so weak, as if he hasn't eaten and he's been down all this time. "Can we come in? I need to tell you something about Luhan." Kai says to Baekhyun. "You can." His eyes lock with mine and he moves aside to allow Kai in. I stay outside and Baek stands by the door as if he had something to say.  "A-Are you okay?" Baekhyun says while staring at the ground. "I've been better. What about you?" It became so awkward, I want everything to go back to normal, but after what I said I don't deserve Baek. "Come in and eat." He opens the door and lets me in. As soon as I enter, Kai sprints out of the apartment. "Where are you going?!" Baekhyun yells. "Work!" Kai yells back, I knew he'd get into trouble. "Listen, Eunjoo I'm sorry. Come back please. I was so restless last night and all I've done is cry. I miss you." I look up and see Baekhyun's blood-shot red eyes. "I will be a burden to you, like I am to my family." "Don't say that. After what happened the other day, I realized how wrong I was. I really do love you. I'm so sorry." "Thank you, Byun Baekhyun." I smile knowing that I do have someone who loves me and who is willing to take care of me. "Eunjoo, go clean up while I make lunch for you." Baekhyun says while heading off the the kitchen.  I go into my room and find some old clothes and a towel. I walk into the bathroom to go wash up -SHE GETS NAKED AND TAKES A SHOWER LOOL- As I walk back into the living room while I dry my hair, I see Baek setting the table with cutlery, something about that is so sexy.  "Ah, Eunjoo, please come~ I haven't gone shopping yet so all I have is rice and kimchi." We laugh at the completely Korean lunch. "I'll eat anything, I'm starving~!" I run over to the table and shove the food into my mouth. "Whoa, Eunjoo~ Did you eat today?" I remember going into the store and buying an apple, but I lost it after Kai handed it to me. "No" The single word slipped out of my mouth which is full of rice and well-fermented kimchi. "Eat well, I will go to the store and buy more food." Baekhyun says while slowly standing up to leave. "Bye oppa~!! Thank you!" I say after I swallow another mouthful of food. Yo yo~ LOL Are you guys mad at me? I'm sorry~!!! I haven't updated in like 3 months..WOW..I SUCK LOL I'm so sorry~!!!! I have no motivation to write..so I never do..But I need to start writing again! DID YOU LIKE THIS CHAPTER?! NO?
