Goodbye (1/2)

First of all before all this fairy tales stuff all happens. You need to know about Cinderalla's dreadful life she has been living. Well her life wasn't dreadful at all nor was it a perfect one. So lets rewind her life before she met her prince charming.  Third POV

Summer was just beginning and the weather was getting hotter everyday. The cicadas were already began singing for their love of hot weather. Summer vacation has just started as today was the last day of school. A female student walked on the dirt path admiring the flower field she passed by. In her ears were her earphones connected to her ipod as she listened to her music. Absorbing the summer heat as she walked under the sun. Nabi was her name, which meant butterfly.

She walked up back onto the streets and arrived at her apartment. She pulls her keys out and walked in slipping off her shoes. The cool air of the air conditioner hit her skin.

"You're back," Mina, Nabi's unnie said as she placed her brush down. Mina was actually her older cousin and was a painter. Nabi simply nodded without saying a word and went over to the kitchen to get a cold drink.

"You're home so quick, excited that you are graduated," Mina's fiance, Taesun said walking out of his bedroom. Nabi nodded again and coldly walked past Taesun and into her room. Taesun stood there awkwardly.

"She still doesn't like me does she?" Taesun said plopping on the couch near his fiance.

"She's a bit shy, it'll take time before she open ups to you," Mina said giving him a bitter smile.

Nabi dropped her school bag on the floor near the bed and placed her cup on her desk. She sighed before lied flat on her back on her bed. She stared at the ceiling thinking deeply.

Nabi was 18 and just graduated from high school. She actually doesn't know what to do for college or what she to do but she just wanted to get out of this place and move out. It's not that she hated Mina or Taesun. She didn't want to be a burden to them. Mina was only in 18 when she took care of Nabi after Nabi's family died. Mina sacrificed her college career to support Nabi. Now she was getting married to a kind and loyal man and Nabi did not want to meddle in with their happiness.

Nabi snapped out of her thoughts and walked over to her desk. She opened the bottom shelf and got out a folder. A folder she found in Mina's room when she was cleaning. It was had all the information of Nabi and more. It had her family's death certificate. Nabi stared at the paper as she remembered at that day.

Nabi was only 8 that time. Her family decided to go on the trip to the lake. Her mom and dad were in the front chatting to each other. Nabi and her oppa who was 10 were in the back. Her oppa was playing on his DS while Nabi looked out the window all excited. It was a peaceful ride until a deer had appeared in front of their car. Nabi's father who was in panic try swerving around the lost deer but in the end he had drove the car off the lane and into the deep lake. Her mother in a instance unbuckle her seat belt and unbuckle her children. The car had plummeted into the lake and the water was rapidly filling in the car. Finally the car was almost completely filled and her mother's last strength, pushed her kids out of the car. Nabi was the first out and her oppa was waiting for her to get out. Nabi was rapidly losing oxygen and her brother tried very hard with his small body to get them up at the surface. The last thing Nabi saw was a large shadow over her as she was slowly wrapped into darkness.

A small tear welled up in her eyes as she remembered that day. She lived that day but the rest died and still on this day her parents' body still at the bottom of the deep lake. Nabi took a deep breath before placing the paper somewhere and continuing through the pile of papers. She arrived at Mina's information. Nabi shot up her seat with disbelief.

"They're alive?..."

Suddenly Mina walks in Nabi's room.

"Nabi do you want some ice cr-," Mina asked but stopped when she saw what Nabi was holding. Mina immediately grabbed the paper out of her hand and gather the other paper.

"How much did you see?"

"Why?...  Why didn't you tell me?" Nabi said looking at Mina angry.

"I-"

"Why did you lie to me that your family was dead?"

"I..." Mina started but she couldn't answer. Mina looked at the ground guilty while Nabi looked away from her.

"I want to move out," Nabi said out of no where. Mina's head shot up and she grabbed Nabi's arm.

"Wh-what why? Where are you going to go?" Mina asked as she clutched onto Nabi's arm and began to shake.
