She groaned, pressing her hand against her head. What the fuck happened to her? She blinked once and then twice, her eyes barely able to open, she couldn’t even open them without her head pounding. She looked around and saw that Hana was right next to her, but there were somewhere, not entirely familiar. Hana was already awake with a disappointed look on her face, “Good morning, sunshine.” She greeted, her voice dripping with sarcasm. “Where are we?” Hyosung asked her, still trying to get her pounding headache to disappear, this was probably the worst she felt in a while. “A jjimjilbang. I’m pretty Jihoon left us here since you were too crazy.” Hana said, getting herself up and waiting for Hyosung to do the same. “What? That dick left us here?” Hyosung said indignantly. “Us?” Hana rolled her eyes, “You don’t even remember last night do you? You pretty much got so high off seduction and alcohol. I had to take care of you and believe me, this was probably the hardest to deal with in a very long time.” She said, walking towards the desk so she could get herself out of there and into a hot bath. “What are you talking about? And how did he even get us in here?” Hyosung asked, scurrying behind Hana who had seemed to have sobered up and gotten over the novelty of being left behind. Hana glared at Hyosung, “Are you stupid? He probably asked someone to help him. Girls love him, you know.” She turned on her heel and headed outside, at least Jihoon had left some money for them at the desk. Hyosung narrowed her eyes at Hana, “What did you say to me?” She said threateningly. And to this, Hana rolled her eyes again. “Listen you, Jihoon left us enough money to get to one apartment. And since you’re not even sober yet. We’re gonna go to yours. I’m gonna take a bath in your house, get into new fresh clothes and either I’ll call him to take me home or you’ll drive me home, but either way, you don’t get a say because you don’t even have your purse.” Hana said, defying Elizabeth for the first time ever. Hyosung had no words for the first time as well, keeping his lips zipped while they waited for a taxi to come and pick them up. Cassandra had never done that to her before, and she couldn’t understand why. ~ He threw his keys on the table and looked around, Hyosung wasn’t even home surprisingly. He smiled to himself, remembering last night. It was perfect, she was perfect, she was meant to be his. He knew that if Hyosung had been home, she would have been able to smell the perfume on his shirt a mile away. But luckily, she had gone. He noticed that her silver heels were gone as well, those were something she had asked him to buy for her a long time ago. And she only ever wore those when she went out. He frowned, it was probably better for him to leave a note. Scribbling on a piece of scratch paper, he let her know that he was planning on staying at the apartment for a while, indefinitely was what he wanted to say, but she would hunt him down. If he stayed there at least Yoonji could come and visit him whenever she wanted. And they could have dates there or far out in the country side. He packed as much of his clothes as he possibly could, mostly suits so she wouldn’t get too suspicious and headed out. He was going to end this never-ending cycle of heartbreak once and for all. ~ Yoonji skipped down the street towards her workplace, she was filled with utter glee from what happened. Hyorin wasn’t home when she got home, but she got home after the sun came up and Hyorin probably had a job to do. She quickly got dressed when she got home and headed out to the restaurant. She had to be early, she had a feeling Yumi would be out of commission yet again, and she would have to get everything done. As soon as she got upstairs she noticed Aya already delegating duties, but Yoonji’s always stayed the same so she walked past them to wash her hands in the kitchen. She gave Mina a small smile, making eye contact but turning away quickly before anyone else noticed. The hierarchy was always the same, no one talked to each other unless you worked in the same areas. So Mina would just have to wait for another day. She started to put utensils and napkins together for dinner service when she could smell Yumi for the entrance. She reeked of alcohol, but she tried to cover it up with some flowery spray. It probably worked for the normal human but Yoonji had to stop herself from gagging at the overlapping scents. She should probably get Nathaniel and William back together as friends, the thought crossed her mind as Yumi approached her. “Good morning.” Yumi said sadly. “You should really stop letting Aya trick you.” Yoonji told her, “But I got it, you’re covered.” Yumi smiled groggily, “You’re the best. Best friend ever!” She said, her words slurring together slightly, throwing her arms around Yoonji. Yoonji cringed as the full force of the nauseating smells hit her. “Oh god, please stop. I’m doing the people a favor, not just you. Besides, wouldn’t want you to drop anything and get yelled at by the kitchen staff either.” She said, carefully tossing Yumi off her. “Yeah, yeah. Okay, I’ll sit over there. Have fun. Thanks.” Yumi waved goodbye, walking herself to her corner for timeout. Yoonji spent the rest of her time picking up Yumi’s slack before opening and one of their first customers was a very familiar face. “Good evening, would you like to hear the specials for the night?” She greeted them as the hostess seated them quickly. She saw the girl that he was with and she was pretty, gorgeous even, for a human at least. But he didn’t even bother with her, he just kept smiling at Yoonji like an idiot. “Yes, please.” The girl said, closing her menu and frowning at him. “Very well.” Yoonji smiled and took the time to list out their soup specials, seafood specials and complete meal set with dessert. “Is there anything I can start you off with?” She asked. The guy reached out to her and held her wrist gently. “A pinot noir please. because I want the lamb.” He said. “Of course, I’ll bring that right out. And for you, miss?” Yoonji asked. The girl frowned, “Since Jihoon is having the lamb then I’ll get the grilled salmon so I can share the pinot noir with him.” She said. “Very well, one bottle of pinot noir, as well as the lamb special and the grilled salmon. I suppose you’ll wait on ordering dessert?” She asked. “Yes." “No." The two of them said, disagreeing. The girl glared at him, “Save a creme brulee for me please.” She asked. Jihoon pursed his lips, that would just take up more of his time. But he had to play nice, she was on the VIP list for many of his clubs since she hung out with Hyosung and Hana a lot as well. “Okay, then I’ll have the tiramisu later as well.” Jihoon didn’t let his true emotions betray him but at least Yoonji got to stay longer. “Okay, I’ll put those orders in as well. Thank you very much.” She said and turned to walk away. “Yoonji?” Jihoon called after her and she turned to him, “Yes, sir?” She replied back. He frowned at this, but let it go since she was on the clock at the moment. “Can I have my lamb as rare as possible?” He asked. “I’ll ask the chef, they prefer to keep things thoroughly cooked for health reasons.” She answered, walking away to the kitchen indefinitely to place their orders. “You like her.” The girl sitting across from him said. “I don’t know what you’re talking about.” Jihoon denied, looking away for a moment. “I’m here with you, aren’t I, Jieun?" “That doesn’t meant you can’t like the girl. Besides, girls know. And you’re one hell of a sucker. She obviously doesn’t like you.” Jieun said, tossing her hair over her shoulders. She knew that this date was going nowhere with his feelings so out in the open. “How do you even know? She hangs out with me all the time.” Jihoon said indignantly, “You don’t even know her." Jieun shrugged, “I don’t have to know her. I told you, girls can just tell. Besides, if she was into you, then she would glow even brighter than she is right now around you. But she doesn’t." Jihoon looked over Jieun’s shoulder and saw Yoonji at the POS putting in their orders. Her side profile was just as nice as any other angle of her. She was just so perfect and he really couldn’t stop his heart pounding whenever she was close. “So you’re saying she’s glowing now?” He asked Jieun. She nodded, “Yeah, whoever he is, he’s one lucky guy. She saw him pretty recently too.” Jihoon frowned at this, there was no way Yoonji saw Himchan. She said she was avoiding him at all costs, they ran away from Tokyo last time because of her heartbreak. No, he wouldn't accept it. He wasn't about to let Yoonji get her heart broken again. She was not going to be at Himchan's beck and call whenever he needed her, not while he was there for her. Author's Note;;
