10. Let the Games Begin (1/1)
He sighed to himself as he realized how easy it had been to get here. Everyone knew his face and without needing any approval, he was ushered to the front of the line and allowed into the club. This must be the treatment that his fiancee was used to getting, he knew that she loved getting all the attention. No wonder she enjoyed going out so much if she was always the focus on envy and lust. He had no idea what he was even doing there though. He had spent too many nights in his apartment alone just to have space from her, but he wanted to get out and stretch his legs. Why he picked the club he had no idea, but it seemed like a good idea at the time. Top 40 blasted in his ears as he squeezed through the crowd by the front. All the girls were putting their bags into lockers for safety while he had brought nothing with him but himself. He could barely hear his own thoughts but he headed for the balcony where he look over the dance floor. Hopefully, he could avoid his fiancee here though, if she was going to be anywhere it had to be this club, the line seemed to speak for itself. He overlooked the floor and saw the throngs of people bouncing to the beat. He saw all the vulgar hip thrusts, and even some people messing around on the dance floor. It was moments like these that he wished he couldn’t see so well in the dark. He wouldn’t notice all the little details of the people who had hands up girls’ dresses or the girls groping at the guys’ pants. He didn’t need to know the details of all these humans’ personal lives. But it was too late now, he had no idea why humans were like this, but they seemed to have a lower standard than he did. He preferred the privacy of his own home, being in his own bed, but he didn’t mind the idea of dancing to tease. He tensed up when he first noticed her, she was with her best friend on the dance floor and two guys were approaching them. The humans were on the hunt and she was their target. It enraged him, that was not allowed. If she was going to be chased, then she deserved the best. His legs took him down the stairs in a flurry. He raced to get there before the two guys did, but she took no notice. Yoonji was dancing cautiously with Hyorin, she didn’t really want to dance with any random strangers at the club tonight. She had this weird vibe from the humans in the room, or maybe it was the room itself but it just didn’t feel the same as it usually did. “Stop thinking.” Hyorin told her with a frown on her face, “We’re supposed to be having fun.” “Sorry, the humans are bothering me.” Yoonji said careful not to let anyone else hear her. “It’s not just you. But don’t let it bother you.” Hyorin replied to her. She looked over Yoonji’s shoulder and smirked. “Looks like you’ll be leaving me soon." Yoonji moved to turn her head and Hyorin grabbed her face to stop her. “Don’t look. Just dance. I’m gonna go get myself a drink.” She told her. “Don’t look.” Hyorin threw her a glare and left the dance floor. Yoonji sighed to herself as she continued dancing, Hyorin would have her eyes on her, so she couldn’t disobey her. Hyorin always made sure whoever she danced with was good though, so there was no danger there. Soon, she felt it. Hands sensuously placed on her hips as she rocked to the rhythm with the guy behind her. He said nothing as they danced together, she couldn’t feel him explicitly but she could tell when he liked what she did. His grip on her hips would tighten and threw her head back in triumph. She still refused to look back because if Hyorin was watching then she would never live it down. Whoever this guy was, he was a good dancer, it was as if he was in tune with her body and knew exactly how she wanted to move. He had a few tricks of his own as they continued to grind on the floor. She could feel his hot breath on the back of her neck and it tickled just a little. He kept his hands in place, they didn’t roam anywhere unlike other men who danced with her. Curiosity was clawing at her and she had resist the urge to turn around and look at his face. Thankfully, he beat her to it. “Do you always go out and dance at clubs like this?” He asked her. In an instant, she recognized his voice. She would be able to recognize it anywhere, she had fallen in love with that voice. His low murmur made her skin tingle, she remembered all those memories with him whenever he spoke to her like that. “I didn’t know you frequented places like this yourself.” She retorted back. Their usual banter the same as ever, Hyorin knew that he was there but made Yoonji dance with him. There was no choice now, plus now that she knew it was him, she couldn’t deny that she enjoyed it. “I don’t.” He pulled her closer, his lips right by her ear. He nipped it lightly, their hips slowing to a sensual groove. “This is honestly my first time.” She sighed, “You don’t want to be caught here with me. You’ll get into trouble.” She warned him, she always had to be the responsible one, even when they had first gotten together. “No one can recognize me here, Madeleine.” He whispered to her. “Just stay with me. Let’s dance together like old times.” She finally turned to look at him, in the dim strobe lights of the club, his flawless porcelain skin illuminated the room. He still hadn’t changed, he was the same as ever. Those eyes that crinkled when she made him smile, how possessive he was when he had her in his arms. His strong arms that protected her from almost anything. “We didn’t dance like this before, Nathaniel. This is more scandalous than any dancing we did.” She countered. There was no hope for her, if he was going to be there and claim her in the club, then so be it. After all, this was her day off. She could enjoy this one night, it would be a dream and then she would be plopped back into reality once again. The reality of their different social statuses and how he was untouchable for someone like her. “Well, I hope we can enjoy the modern-day era together then.” He grooved his hips low against hers and she smirked. Their little game had just begun and soon they were constantly trying to outdo the other. She sat by herself on one of the bar stools, sipping the drink in her hand. She had gone girly for the first time and decided on an appletini. A rather handsome guy plopped himself in the stool beside her and she gave him a glance. He was okay, not exactly her type, because he was crazy but he was nice to look at. “Can I get the lady another drink?” He asked her. Hyorin shook her head with a smile, “I’m waiting for someone.” She said clearly. “You look like you’re alone to me.” The guy replied to her. “Come on, just one drink.” Someone on her left came up with his arm around her waist, “She’s waiting for me, bub. So beat it.” He said and she smiled to herself. Now there was a voice she hadn’t heard in a while. “Jeez. Why would you leave her by herself then?” The guy muttered to himself, leaving the bar entirely. Hyorin turned to the guy on her left, “Well, good morning, Prince Benjamin.” She greeted him. “You have always been the only one who’s ever called me that.” He replied, “It’s Zico now, by the way.” He ordered his whiskey on the rocks and grinned. “You’ll always be Prince Benjamin to me.” She said, “But fair enough, Zico. What are you doing here? You never come to The A.” “That’s because someone distasteful is usually here. I’m usually at Octagon but Yong Guk hyung dragged me out here today.” Zico told her. “But this is your stomping ground?” He eyed her carefully. She threw him a flirty smile and shook her head, “No, Yoonji and I only come here on our days off, which happens once in a blue moon.” She joked. “You know you shouldn’t be so open with yourself. Guys will get the wrong idea.” He scolded her. “You’ve always been that way.” “I think everyone deserves a little attention. There’s nothing wrong with that.” She argued. “Besides, you shouldn’t even be here with me. Where’s your Princess?” Zico chugged his drink and rolled his eyes at her, “You know that the love died a long time ago. She just refuses to believe it and I can’t do anything else.” He said. “But it’s so loud in here.” Hyorin frowned but gave a small nod, “You’re right. Let’s go to a bar and talk. It’s been a while since we’ve had our confessional.” She smiled and finished her drink before getting up to leave. “Hey, wait up.” He said, putting some cash for the bartender and following after her. From the dance floor, Mina noticed Zico running away. “Oppa, isn’t that..?” Her voice drifted off and Bang looked over to where she was looking. “Don’t worry about it.” He said when he saw what she was looking at. He continued to dance with her, feeling the rhythm of their bodies flow together. “But shouldn’t he..?” She said, scrunching her eyebrows in confusion. Bang captured her lips in a hot kiss before she could say anymore. His tongue coaxed hers to come out and play and they twisted over each other before he let her go. “I said don’t think about it.” He told her. “Just dance.” Mina pouted but nodded her head. “Fine. You’ll pay for that later.” Meanwhile, upstairs in the VIP lounge, there was a small game going with tequila shots. “Baskin Robbins, 31! 1, 2, 3." “4." “5, 6.” Hyosung smiled to herself as the game went around. All the guys in the room weren’t bad looking, in fact all of them smelled rather appetizing. She couldn’t quite place her finger on it, but she couldn’t get over how many of them just hungered for her. They had already played the game three rounds and they were started to succumb to their primal instincts. They looked at her cleavage more often whenever she leaned down to grab her shot glass or when she crossed her arms for attention. She couldn’t feel the alcohol hitting her yet and Hana was cozying up to one of the guys already. “31! Awww.” One of the guys said sadly. She smiled at him, “Don’t worry I’ll try make it a love shot with you!” She cooed to him. The numbers went around again and the guys were getting possessive. They didn’t want her to do a love shot with their friend. But the guy next to her tried to take as many numbers as he could so she wouldn’t get 51. But it failed. “51!” She cheered and she stood up, without pushing her dress down and walked over to him. His eyes practically gleaned with pride as the other guys watched jealously. She picked up both glasses and handed his to him. “Are you ready?” She asked him. “Of course.” He said. She took a pinch of salt and placed it along his collarbone. She licked it up quickly and downed her shot first. She smirked to herself as he took his cue to put salt along the top of her breasts and he took his sweet time, letting his tongue lave over her chest. She exaggerated a bit for all the guys in the room at how good it felt and her partner finally downed his own tequila shot as well. If she was being honest with herself, it had been a long time since Himchan had ever touched her like that. But that didn’t mean she wanted any other guy to do it for her. She moved back to her chair as she felt fingertips graze against her thighs. “Hey, that’s for the next round if you win.” She said to her neighbor. Hana met her eyes in shock, but Hyosung simply shrugged it off. Humans were good for when she was feeling needy for attention. They always behaved how she expected them to, and she could easily have them at her beck and call if she wanted. “Don’t worry.” Hyosung told Hana and they went back to playing their drinking game with the men. After all, it’s not like Himchan was anywhere near the club. He would never know about her fulfilling her need for a man’s touch. Author's Note;;
