05. Roh Ji Hoon (1/1)

He took a glass of orange juice from the maid in the kitchen and a piece of toast for his breakfast, he had found a liking to slightly burnt bread even though meat was always his favorite meal of choice. He looked around and saw that no one else was home but the table had yet to be cleared, "He left early this morning?" He asked the maid. "Yes, Master left for work early today, he said he had a board meeting with some overseas partner so with the time difference, he had to leave without you." The maid replied back to him with a small curtsy. "Take your time clearing the table. I know we expect a lot of you and you're just one person." He told her, remembering what he had learned from his friend a long time ago. “It is fine, sir. But you have to make your own way to work,” She said sadly. “You have a meeting at the company, but after that your father said you are free to do what you wish.”  He smiled at her, “Thank you very much. I will get my briefcase and head out then.” He said, going back into his own room. He took the chance to mix his real sustenance into his orange juice. No one in the house knew about his physical condition and it was rather burdensome. He took his keys and headed out to his car, he leaned back into the leather seats of his Hyundai Genesis. He pressed the start button and reversed the car out of the driveway, before the bluetooth companion started to ring. He checked the caller ID and a bright smile fell on his face, “Well good morning to you, Miss Hyorin.” He said. “Jihoon oppa, what are you doing today?” She asked him. “I’m bored and I want to hang out with the Three Musketeers.”  “I am free after my business meeting, tonight? Dinner? Or dessert?” He asked, smiling as he turned into the company building. There were people waiting to greet him when he got to the front doors. They all bowed to him, making the welcoming party very dramatic for him. He sighed, he would miss it in the next lifetime. He was lucky this time around, but he would have to give this up when they disappeared again. “Good morning, Mr. Roh.” They all chorused together. He smiled at all of them and gave a small nod. He walked into his office, setting his briefcase down and keeping Hyorin on his phone with the bluetooth.  “Sorry. I was changing for my luncheon. But I was thinking dessert, I’ve been wanting to get some ice cream.” She told him and he could hear her walking around in her room. “Definitely, we have to wait for Yoonji to get off work anyway right? We can go to the Baskin Robbins that’s open late in my neighborhood. The girl likes me a lot.” He replied.  “Okay! I will see you tonight.” Hyorin said, hanging up the phone and he took the bluetooth out of his ear and picked up the folder on his desk for the meeting he had to attend. He felt his suit move and he adjusted it quickly to present himself well.  Jihoon opened the glass door and sat on the right side of his father. He greeted him with a smile, “Good morning." “Good morning, son.” His father said back, “Are you caught up with the progress?”  Jihoon nodded, “Yes I am. We have a new phone in the works and they are in the middle of presenting the PR suggestions for this meeting.” He answered as the woman said up her slides and her presentation. “Very good. We can’t have Samsung failing when you were here.” His father said but they quieted when the girl started her presentation.  Jihoon started to zone out slightly, keeping a fraction of his attention on the words coming out of her mouth. She had many brilliant ideas that he could agree with and she couldn’t pick one and that was why she had to present them to the boss.  She was rather attractive, she had a tight pencil skirt on and she left an extra button unbuttoned for her cleavage. He could appreciate her as he felt her smell fill the air in the closed room.  She smelled rather pure, but he could sense some underlying scent in her. Something rather unpleasant, some sort of drug in her system that would not enjoy at all. He sighed to himself, there was never a human girl that he could get with. He needed the blood because of a silly mistake in his life. He regretted it half the time, but when he saw her, it made him forget why he decided to make this mistake. He sighed as he remembered the blood bag in his refrigerator, if he could convince her to be his, then they could be okay. His father picked the first idea with the golden angle and he just nodded his head in agreement with the choice. His father would bring the girl back again for the next ad campaign, he already knew it. Her ideas were worthy for other products they had and she was easy on the eyes. “You are to do what you want.” His father said, sending him off and they went their separate ways. He set up the rest of his work and finished quickly when his phone vibrated loudly. He checked the notification and saw the very familiar text message. Can you get me into The A tonight?He smiled to himself before replying, What do I get in return? He only traded favors with her because she was high enough on the social food chain to give him favors in the first place. Free underwear for a week from Hyosung’s underwear campaign. We both wanna go out tonight, please Jihoon-ah~~He sighed, it was crazy how she always knew what he needed. He had ruined several pairs of boxers from being in the club and he couldn’t get the alcohol smell out of it. Fine, Hana. I’ll put you on the guest list. Thanks, I’ll send the underwear in the mail today. She replied back to him and he sighed again. Now, he had to be late for the dessert date because he had to show his face at the club to get them in.  Yoonji got off work at 11:30PM but he knew Hana wouldn’t show up at the club until midnight so he had to wait for her to show up and then head out to Baskin Robbins after. He looked at his phone screen and his blue eyes were looking back at him, he shouldn’t have done it. He shouldn’t have followed along, he should have followed his faith. He should have known better. But he kept succumbing to their temptation, he was too weak. Jihoon was not strong enough to follow his faith. Author's Note;;
