From Age Five to Now (1/2)
It was Valentine's day and many kids were, as usual, hyped about going to Kindergarten. Most believed that it were just any other day. They knew no value of the occasion, but were only familiar of the shape that represented the special day. It being a heart.
Little Jinni took a seat at the arts and crafts table where she had found all her class mates rummaging through colorful bins. The table was filled with a variety of light and dark colors of pre-cut paper. Some kids were attempting to make hearts, but in the end it had turned out to be quite deformed. Little Jinni decided she would join the crafts party and reached over to grab herself a glue stick, when obnoxious Suho had already beaten her to it. She gasped as he playfully stuck his tongue out to her defeat.
Feeling absolutely miserable for being beaten by a boy, Little Jinni had sulked in her chair. She pouted as she patiently waited for a glue stick to be available. Suho grinned at her as she glared at him with ferocious eyes. Tiny, swirly storms appeared above her head as she silently cursed him for being so rotten. Suho blinked carefully as he read her worked-up mind.
He is such a rude mister. My mommy always says that girls should always be first!
Suho sighed as he reached over across the table to offer her the glue stick back. Secretly, he'd always pull obnoxious stunts just to see Jinni's mad reaction. He found her unordinarily cute when she had mini-storms forming around her sunny face. He wasn't so good at being in good terms with her, but his only method he had known of was to annoy her to get her attention. As his hand made it's way towards her, another hand had tapped her shoulder.
Little Jinni jerked her head towards her right to find a cute, smiling boy offering her a glue stick.
"Just take mine," He placed the glue stick in her hand. "Lightning might strike out of those clouds." The boy's smile was perfect. He had such a warm, engaging smile that made Jinni feel as though she were on top of her clouds. Which, had suddenly started to brighten into white puffy clouds. He was Byun Baekhyun.

"How close is she?"
Baekhyun frantically sped through the halls. Suho was just behind him, trying to keep up with his best friend's pace.
"I lost track of her, since the boy's restroom." Suho pressed his fingers on to the side of his forehead as he attempted to trace the mysterious girl.
"That must mean she lost our tail." Baekhyun sighed in relief as he pressed his back against a locker. Baekhyun stood up again as he heard a faint cry of his name. He squinted at the direction of the voice, and found himself eyeing the delivery of an enormous heart balloon bouquet.
"Oh God." He yelped.
"Seong Jinni is at it again," Suho sighed. "twelve years of Valentine gifts."
"Twelve years of torture." Baekhyun groaned.
"Byun Baekhyun!" Jinni bubbly called. "Delivery!"
She shoved the balloon bouquet into his hands and waited for some gratitude out of him.
"Well?" She chirped.
Suho read through her mind, as usual. It was filled with anticipation for Baekhyun, as usual. He pouted as he darted his attention back to Baekhyun.
Baekhyun seemed to be at a loss of words. He looked around seeing and hearing the snickers of by standers who had witnessed Jinni's typical, public admiration of him. It happened annually. Or even sometimes daily, when she just wanted to follow him around.
Baekhyun breathed deeply, before exhaling out his secret frustration. He wished she was more secretive of her liking of him. Actually, he wished she didn't even like him at all. From the age of five to twelve years later, Jinni had granted him an uncondtional love. And all because of a stupid simple offering of a glue stick.
He dropped the bouquet next to his feet as he eyed her carefully.
"Jinni... it's best if you stopped all of this. You have to accept the fact that I'd never have the same feelings for you. I'm sorry." Everything seemed to stay completely still.
Suddenly, powerful claps were being heard outside. The students of Capable High started to panick as they heard the noise increase in volume. The bouquet that had a heavy mass holding it down to the ground had suddenly been pushed away. A strong wind found its way into the halls and had peoples' assignments flying uncontrollably. Baekhyun took a look at Jinni, who was suddenly not the cute girl she was five minutes ago. Her hair flowed everywhere intensely as her eyes became silver orbs. A sign that showed she was madly upset.
"Baekhyun!" Suho's voice had echoed into his head.
"Snap out of it! You're invisioning weird things again." He nudged, after catching Baekhyun's prediction.
Baekhyun shook his head to find Jinni still patiently waiting for him.
