[Haseul]By the time Sozen had finished explaining, Ailee had already left the studio and the big screen was back above the stage.“So I guess this will be live for all of us to see…” I said to both Minha and Songhye.“I feel like I am screwed…” Songhye muttered softly.I turned to look at her and squeezed her arm tight. “We can do this…together” I assured her, earning a weak smile.I remember how nervous she was last night. Of course, I never heard he sing before but that ten second clip of her on the introduction video was enough for me to believe she could do this. Minha sat next to her with a confident smile.“We could all do this, Songhye” she grinned.“The nine names that is shown on the screen here, please leave the studio and head into the training room where Miss Ailee will be waiting for you. A staff will lead you there once you leave this studio” Sozen explained, pointing to the screen above him and also the exit at the side of the studio where we had entered earlier.The studio got darker as the screen became brighter. Nine names were listed almost too quickly. I quickly scanned through it and saw that none of the three of us were called.Sure enough nine girls scattered around us got up and left just like how Sozen had instructed.The whole studio was quiet as they made their way there and while they got ready.Ailee was there will a clipboard and pen in hand. “Also, before we start, I will be deciding which key you will be singing so, please be aware of your surroundings” she noted right before the evaluation started.I realized that every time they started, they’d be singing the song in it’s original key. But as it progresses, Ailee would raise or lower her hand and the key will change just like that, throwing a lot of the girls off of their momentum.I watched each and every group especially the third group. I was drawn to that group since the three golden sweethearts from my school were all in that team together. I told this to Songhye and she just told me to calm down and don’t worry about them.Out of the earlier groups, I had to be honest that that group sounded good. Probably since there was a balance of vocal ranges all together. I could see that Ailee was liking that group very much, nodding occasionally as she focused on one of the trio and the next.As soon as the group finished, most of us who were still at the studio applaud despite them not hearing us.“Alright, next nine girls please head to the studio” I looked up not sure what to expect.“My name’s up there…” Songhye muttered as she stood up.
