If the ex returning is a trigger skip the ending of this chapter. ---A few months later---You are at V’s basketball game when you suddenly feel nauseous. You run to the bathroom. While you are spewing your guts, you hear a voice outside the bathroom. Youngjae has followed you.Youngjae: “*calling from outside the bathroom* Honey, are you okay?”You come out of the bathroom with a huge smile on your face.Youngjae: “*smiling at you despite his concern for you* What are you so happy about?”You: “*throwing your arms around his neck* Jae, I think I may be pregnant.”Youngjae picks you up and spins you around. Youngjae: “*setting you down on your feet* Baby, that’s great. *pulls you into a kiss* That is amazing.”You and Youngjae walk back to the game hand in hand, sporting twin smiles. ---The next day---You head to the hospital and meet with Minho.Minho: “*coming back into the office with a smile on his face* Well (Y/N), you are pregnant. It’s too soon to tell the gender but in a few weeks we should know.”You: “*smirking* I don’t know if I want to know.”Minho: “*small chuckle* Youngjae is going to want to know. *looking at his clipboard and flipping through your charts* You should wait a little to make the announcement to everyone.”You: “I know. I was going to wait until I get past the three month mark.”Minho nods as you get up and leave the office. You head home and burst through the door, startling everyone. Baekhyun: “*going over to you* Umma, gwenchanayo?”You: “*about to explode with excitement* I’m fine. *turning to Youngjae* Yeobo, I need to talk to you now.”Youngjae timidly gets up and follows you to your shared bedroom. Youngjae closes the door as you stand in the middle of the floor, back facing him.Youngjae: “*weakly* Jagi-ah?”You turn around and pounce on Youngjae, causing him to stumble. He pulls you away and sets you down. Youngjae: “*raising an eyebrow* The kids are home.”You: “*scoffing* That is not why I called you in here? *Youngjae looks at you curiously and you squeal* I’m pregnant.”Youngjae blinks at you a few times and then picks you up into his arms. Youngjae: “*nuzzling into your neck* I love you so much.”---3 months later---You are sitting on the couch next to Youngjae, fidgeting. The twins are playing video games on the floor in front of you, completely unaware that you are about to make an announcement that will turn their lives upside down. There is a knock at the door that makes you nearly jump out of your skin. Youngjae pats your shoulder and there is Yong Guk with Luhan, Tao and Jongup at the door.Youngjae: “Hey, come in.”Luhan: “You know I’m busy, this better not be a waste of time.”Yong Guk: “*smacking Luhan in the back of the head* It probably is if she had all of us come over. *heading to the living room* Tae, Baek, what’s up?”The twins stationed on the floor give weak hellos, never taking their eyes off the game. Jongup: “*sitting next to you* Are you okay? Nothing’ s wrong, right?”You: “*caressing the man’s face* Everything is fine. *mumbling* I hope.”The next to arrive is Jimin with your mom. She runs over to you and pulls you up. She starts checking to make sure you are okay before sitting down. Jimin goes straight for the twins and they restart the game so Jimin can join in. After that Daehyun arrives with Sunny and they greet you brightly. Right when everyone is sitting down to eat dinner; there is another knock at the door. You go to get it and see a raven-haired panda look alike standing there.You: “*throwing your arms around his neck* Tao!”Tao: “*hugging you back* Hi to you too.”You: “*pulling back* What are doing here? I thought you were in China.”Tao: “I was but Guk told me you called everyone over so I decided to come over.”Rap Monster: “*coming up the walk* I got the same call and brought some desert.”You: “*smiling brightly* Namjoon-ah.”You bring both boys in the house.You: “*sitting at the table* Look who I found outside.”Everyone says hi to the two new additions. You set the food down and everyone starts eating. Yong Guk: “*looking up from the phone he just pulled out* Zelo and Jungkook said sorry they couldn’t make it but their tour schedule has them in Japan right now.”You: “*waving it off* They are busy. Leave them be.”Dinner is finished and you start serving desert.Luhan: “*pushing the plate away* This is starting to seem like a waste of time.”You: “*sitting down* Luhan shut up. Everyone I called you all over her today because you are the people that mean the most to me and I wanted to tell you all…..”Luhan: “*smirking* Are you pregnant?”You: “*eyes bugging out of your head* How did you know?”Luhan: “Why else would you call us all over here? You are already married and you love Youngjae too much to divorce him so that was the only possible explaination.”You: “Yes, I am pregnant and it’s a girl.”Everyone cheers and congratulates you. V, however, gets up and walks outside. You watch him as he leaves. You: “*bowing to everyone* Excuse me.”You head outside to find V practicing his jump shot.You: “Mind if I play?”V: “I want to play alone.”You: “*going over to V* Tae? Why did you leave?”V: “*slamming the ball down* Why do you need another child? Are we not enough for you? Do you need to feel wanted again? *tears start to trickle down his cheeks* I don’t understand why I need a little sister, I have Baekhyun and that’s enough.”You: “*wrapping your arms around the boy’s shuddering shoulder* Tae, you and Baek are enough for me. I didn’t plan this. I love the two of you with all my heart.”V pulls away from you and grabs the basketball and starts to walk away.You: “*grabbing V’s arm* This isn’t about the baby, is it? Tae, what is really wrong?”V: “*still standing with his back to you* Nothing, it is about the baby. I don’t get why we need more people in the house.”You: “*turning the boy around and gazing into his eyes* Tae? Did something happen at school?”V: “*dropping to the ground* I can’t stand that school. I hate it there. *looking angrily ahead of him* No, I don’t hate the school. I hate Baekhyun. I hate my own brother. He makes me feel ashamed to call him my brother. It has been that way since we were kids.”You: “*kneeling in front of V* Taehyung, what are you talking about? You hate your brother?”V: “*looking at you as if you have grown another head* You don’t get it. It’s his fault. It’s his fault that I have to try harder to fit in. People at school call him fag and pick on him because of how he is.”You: “*sitting on the curb* That doesn’t explain why you said you hated him.”V: “Because I got labeled as the fag’s brother. *throwing the ball across the street* I hate having to go to school with him.”Baekhyun: “*from behind the two of you* Tae, do you really feel that way?”V: “*gets up and turns to his brother* Sometimes. I just wish you did more guy stuff.”Baekhyun: “*face creasing with anger* Well, sorry I can’t be a jock like you, Taehyung. Maybe I’m not wired that way. *stomping back to the house and turning around at the door* For the record I’m not gay. The reason I try to look my best is so that I can impress Min Ah.”V: “You mean Min Ah from when we were kids? *Baekhyun nods* Why didn’t you say something?”Baekhyun: “*yelling* Because you have a big mouth.”V: “*looking at his feet* Sorry.”Baekhyun smiles at his brother’s sincerity and grabs his double and goes back to the house. ----6 months later---You have given birth to your baby girl, So Jin. She is as bright eyed as V and Baekhyun were. The twins have come to love their little sister. Youngjae spends a lot of time with her and Sunny is back as your nanny, at least until her wedding day. You are sitting at home rocking your little girl to sleep, when you hear a knock at the door. You set the baby in the bassinette and go answer the door. When you see who is the other side, you back up and trip over the step behind you. You try to scramble away, using only your hands and legs. You jump up and run to grab So Jin and run to the nursery where you lay the baby into her crib. You lock the door before closing it, hoping she will be safe from the monster in your living room. You turn the corner and run smack into him. Monster: “Looks like my little piggy doesn’t want to play.”You: “*glaring at him* Jaejoong, why the hell are you here?”Jaejoong: “I just got out and wanted to see you.”You: “As you can see I don’t want to see you. Leave now.”Jaejoong smirks, inching closer to you; you feel your back hit the wall. You close your eyes not really knowing what will happen next. Nothing, you open your eyes and see Youngjae standing in front of you and Jaejoong lying unconscious on the floor. You look at Youngjae again and see his lips moving so you try and focus on what is coming out of them.Youngjae: “Honey, are you okay? Where’s So Jin.”You nod and point to the nursery. Youngjae goes over and tries the handle but realizes the door is locked. He unlocks it and check on the sleeping little girl. He returns to you, pulls you into him and calls the police. You cling to Youngjae like a life preserver in the middle of a stormy sea. {Your POV} *silently crying* I guess it is true, love really can conquer all. This man is proof of that. I love him and am glad I get to spend the rest of my life with him. {End}You: “*looking up at Youngjae* I love you.”Youngjae: “*pecking your lips* I love you too.
