6 Years Later (1/1)
~6 Years Later~Luhan POVA lot had changed between the groups. Their anger for each other had definitely disappeared, but we still refused to be in contact. Kris and I were the only ones who dared to mingle with the M group. I only went to see Sehun, but Kris went there to see everyone except for Sehun. Then one day, I invited Sehun over to my house to stay over. I had decided that I could trust him, so I wanted to tell him the truth about me.“What should we do now?” Sehun asked, as he lay on the floor of my bedroom. I looked at the time and it was time for us to go to bed, but I had other plans.“Sehun, I want to show you something.” I said. Sehun sat up.“What is it?” Sehun asked.“I’ll tell you a story first.” I said. Sehun nodded.“My dad told me this story the moment I could understood Korean. A long time ago, there was a boy. No one knew where he came from, neither did they believe where he said he came from. He told them that he was the seed from a tree. The Century Tree, which was the oldest tree in his village. The people of course, didn’t believe him and called him crazy. He also said that the tree was dying, but the village didn’t believe him again, because trees live for a long time. But when the village looked at the tree, they saw that it was wilting. They didn’t know what to think. Then he said that the tree, in hope to survive, it will drop a seed. Every time a seed drops, the tree will wither some more. The seed will turn into a human and that human had a special job. He had to find his soulmate. But there was a catch. If he didn’t find his soulmate before his the two moons rise on his eighteenth birthday, he will die. If he did find his soulmate, he must mark him/her by biting his soulmate and they live and live happily ever after. Also, all the energy from the bond of their relationship goes directly to the Century Tree and it will be young again. But if the hundredth Century child doesn’t find his soulmate, then the tree will completely die and also, every memory, every story told, everyone will forget about everything and not a single trace of them will ever be on the Earth again. Everything would be forgotten.”“That is some story that he told.” Sehun commented.“Mm. This special human was called a Century Child.”“So why are you telling me all this?” Sehun asked.“All the other Century Child’s failed. Now it’s my turn. I’m the hundredth Century Child.” I said slowly. Sehun stared at me for a long time.“How do you know?” he asked.“When I was little, I had a dream of the last Century Child. He died. He had found his soulmate, but his soulmate was selfish and wouldn’t let him mark her, so he died.”“Wow. That’s harsh. So you’re saying that if you don’t find your soulmate by the time the two moons rise on your eighteenth birthday, you will die and not only that, every trace of history and connection to you or the past stories of the other Century Children will completely vanish and be forgotten.”“You remember a lot.”“You do know how crazy this sounds?”“I can show you something.” I said. “There are two things that can prove that a child is a Century Child. The first one is a mark.” I turned around and pulled my shirt off. On my back, right in the middle, were two C’s. I put back on my shirt and Sehun gaped at me.“Is that natural??” he asked surprised.“Definitely.” I replied.“What’s the second thing?” Sehun asked, his full attention now.“Every Century Child has an individual ability. I think the last Century Child could jump really high.”“WHAT’S YOURS!!!???” Sehun asked excited.“It’s very weak right now, but…” I looked at a tub of pencils and soon they all floated into the air going in different directions.“I’m still working on my direction and control, but I have telekinesis.” I said. I rubbed at my head and watched Sehun’s expression. He looked like he was watching a magic show…a really, really, really, really cool magic show.“This is the coolest thing ever!” Sehun cried. He jumped up and tried to grab the pencils, but I managed to move them all the way to the ceiling.“Meanie! I want to touch the magic pencils!” Sehun cried. I chuckled to myself.“Can you keep this a secret?” I asked.“Dude, you’re awesome! Not only will I keep this a secret, I will also help you find your soulmate and that’s a promise!” Sehun cried earnestly. Then he jumped onto my bed and started leaping off, trying to catch the pencils on the ceiling. I kept moving it out of the way and he kept on yelling at me. I was happy that he thought I wasn’t crazy.“Let’s a have a pillow fight!” Sehun announced. Then a pillow smashed into his face. My fault.“Done! I win! Now let’s go to bed. Using my ability makes me tired.” I said. Sehun nodded with an excited squeal and then he went to turn off the lights. The lights turned off and then I snuggled into my blanket. I was about to fall asleep when I felt my bed dip. Then the covers will slowly taken off and someone hopped into my bed.“Is that you, Sehun?” I asked.“Mm. I’m glad you’re my best friend, Luhan.” Sehun said. Then he fell asleep. I stared at him in the dark, my heart swelling with warmth for the boy. Then I closed my eyes and fell asleep too. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Hello! Short chapter, but i hope it explains enough.
