"Hmm..." Joingin straightened himself up as he stretched his arms into the air. That was a nice nap, and he remembers picking up the faint scent of lavendar as he dozed off. The weather is so good that he fell asleep while reading up on The Little Prince. Somehow, Jongin feels very relaxed today and he just stares out of the window with his chin resting on his palm."Hehe, you're finally awake?" A gentle voice asked and caught Jongin by surprise. He turns to see a girl with long wavy hair staring at him with her big round eyes, now resembling the crescent as she smiles at him. "Uh...?" That was the best reply that he can give as he looks at her, confused. "You fell asleep on my shoulders while we were both reading here," she replied, still smiling. He can feel the genuine concern from her eyes... and that lavendar scent. It must have been her! "I'm so sorry!!" Jongin blurted out suddenly, earning him a few glares from the people in his surrounding. The girl reacted by putting a finger to her lips, signalling for him to be quiet."Ah.. I'm sorry... I hope I wasn't a nuisance," Jongin spoke softly this time. The girl just shakes her head with a gentle smile, and then points to the book. "This book, The Little Prince, I really like it a lot. How do you find it so far?" "Uh, erm," Jongin mumbled a little as he scratches his head, it is definitely his first time being asked about books. The people around him are usually not interested in books, and him being an introverted book lover... keeps everything regarding books to himself. "This is actually my first time reading a children's book... hehe..." he looks at the book in his hand and unknowingly, a smile forms on his lips.The girl is still staring at him, "do you mind if we can discuss about books the next time? I can introduce you more of such titles, or we can exchange our favourite titles next time!" Her voice perks up as she stares at Jongin with excitement glistening in her eyes. Jongin looks at the girl and feels his heart skip a beat. This is something he has never experienced, ever. He stares at her for a few seconds before nodding his head slowly in reply. "My name's Seohyun, and you are?" Seohyun beams at him as her hand reaches out for a polite hand shake. "I'm Jongin," he says as he took her hand in his. They held on for a good minute before they realize that there are people staring at them, then fractically let go of each other's hands as they both blushed a little. Seohyun begins packing up and before she stands up, she turns to Jongin, "I notice you're here every Wednesday. Shall we meet again next Wednesday then, right at this spot?" her face is slightly flushed as she looks into his eyes. "Yea, sure, why not?" Jongin smiles, his silly toothy grin. Seohyun smiles back shyly, stands up and then bows to him before leaving. Jongin chuckles to himself as he notices the bow. He continues staring at her until she is out of sight, and then clenches his chest. "Oh my God, what is this feeling?" It feels as though his cheeks may burst from all these smiling. This feeling he has never felt before is too much for him to contain. He hurries off before anyone catches this side of him in public... so silly and obviously love struck. But before he rushes out of the library, he turns to look at the spot again - the table right beside the huge window that offers him a good scenery ever since he chanced upon this place, and now a good memory and many more ahead with Seohyun (he hopes). He holds on tightly to the book like a happy child and then turns to leave, feeling hopeful for the rest of the day.-----A/N: Something short... and dedicated to SeoKai fans. I've always wanted to write something about them in the library, so here it is. Sorry this is so short, and nothing amazing. I hope you still liked it, nevertheless! Thank you for reading!
