Kris Story Part 3 (1/2)

In the morning she wakes up alone in the room, the sun is creeping through the thick dark purple curtains. Feeling kind of weird being in a strangers house Ashley gets out of bed and hits the shower. After showering and getting dressed she peeks out through the door and down the empty hallway.

“Weird...” she breathes. “didn't he say there were 11 others living here?”The room Kris told her was theirs is located closest to the halfstairs leading to the big common room. She goes downstairs and finds her way to the kitchen, as her stomach starts growling she finds herself something to eat from the fridge. She then gets startled when the girl from yesterday, Dessi, suddenly is standing behind the refridgerator door as she closed it, with crossed arms looking at her like she doesn't want her here.

“Had a good night?” she says coldly.

“Seriously what is your problem? We only met yesterday and you already seem to hate me-”

“Well yeah, I was planning on just hating my dad for abandoning me. But I wasn't really expecting you to appear so soon... And take him away from me, again” Dessi said, annoyed emphasising the last word. Her frown quickly disappeared as Suho walked in followed by Kris, Tao and Chanyeol.

“Woah what's going on here?” Tao asked, standing behind Dessi, massaging her tense shoulders while leading her outside.

“Calm down” Suho told her and gave her a look as they passed him.

“Yes.. mother” she mumbled on her way out making Chanyeol almost laughing but he managed to hold it back.

“Are you okay?” Kris asked, had walked up to her and wrapped his arms around her.

“Yeah I'm okay, just dealing with jealous daughter problems” she sighed, hugging him back. When they let go of each other she returned to making something to eat.

“If she's going to continue like that, you will have to take some time out to talk with her.” she sat down and started eating.

“I will, I will” he replied sitting down next to her cupping her face in his hands. “but today, I will help you with what you came here for; sightseeing”

“Really? You'll be my personal tour guide?”

“Of course, as soon as you're done eating your breakfast” he said placing a kiss on her temple. ~ * ~ “First on my to do list, I want to see the old palaces. Oh! and that place where the houses are old and traditional, I've seen it in dramas.” she said, looking at him excitedly from the passenger seat. “Oh and I've always wanted to try on a traditional dress”

“We sure have a lot of things in our schedule today I hear” he laughed and focused on driving.He made their first stop at a traditional clothing store where he could have a dress handmade for her, but there was no time for that now so they just had to have her try a few already made dresses on.

The first one she tried on had bright red skirt and a full green top, Kris shook his head saying “next”.

The next one she tried had a garnet red skirt and a royal blue top with white sleeves, again Kris shook his head saying “next”.

The third dress she got to try had a creamy pink skirt and mint green top with triped sleeves of mixed creamy colours. This one had him at least thinking for a second before going “next”.

The fourth one she tried on had a peach colored skirt and the top was wine red. This one had his jaw drop.

“Wow” he said. Along with the simple in time hairdo and makeup she looked really pretty.

“This is the one.” he told the staff who had helped Ashley trying the different dresses on.

“We'll take it.”  he said and followed her to the entrance counter and payed for the dress. He then asked the woman if he could quickly borrow the dressing room and she said it was okay. So he took the paperbag he'd brought from home and went to change, and when he came out of the changingroom he wore white pants and a deep purple long top like the higher ranked gentlemen used to wear.

“Woow” Ashley said and a smile spread across her face. “You look really handsome”
