100 years is nothing, if (1/2)
Days went by and in what felt like a blink of an eye, Irene had started working again leaving Wendy all alone in her house.
Well, technically she was not alone.
“Rose, are you sure you're real and I’m not hallucinating? Because I still can't believe it.”
“Wendy, if you question my existence one more time, I swear to God I will fu-.”
“Like, what am I doing right now? I’ve been sitting like this with my eyes closed for an hour,” she mumbled, her brows furrowed and annoyance laced her words.
“How about you shut up and focus? If you don't know how to control your telekinetic ability, then you might as well throw Irene into the hell yourself.”
Wendy who was clearly annoyed by her trainer tried to keep herself calm and corrected her sitting position. After Rose mentioned Irene, she became more serious and aware of the situation she was in. Wendy drew a dep breath and tried her best to focus on the task Rose had given her.
“Alright. Now, clear your mind. Think of absolutely nothing. Your mind has to be completely empty for this, not that it’s hard for you.” Wendy glared at Rose but the ghost (?) spirit (?) apparition (?) Digimon (?) just ignored her and continued instructing Wendy.
“Regulate your breathing and try to find a burning energy in you. Focus on trying to grasp that energy using your mind. Do this until everything becomes natural and automatic and you don’t have to recall my instruction every few seconds on what to do. Remember, clear your mind.”
She was sitting straight with her legs crossed and hands rested on top of her crossed legs. She closed her eyes and began to meditate in the way Rose had instructed her. Breathe in, breathe out. Right, she could do this. She could empty her mind and regulate her mind and tried to find some stupid energy within her.
But not even 5 minutes in…
The sound of grumbling stomach could be heard in the room.
“I’m sorry I don’t think I can do this right now.” Wendy opened her eyes and got up, leaving the room hurriedly in hope she would escape Rose’s wrath that was surely coming.
Rose groaned and rolled her eyes, “It had not been even five minutes! You wanna play a big bad hero for Irene but you can’t even do simple shits like this, might as well just dig Irene’s grave yourself.”
“Hey! I can hear you, you know. It’s lunch time and I’m hungry! I can’t concentrate when I’m not my best and maybe it’ll help if you’re a better teacher,” Wendy yelled from the kitchen.
“Not my fault that you suck,” the pink haired girl snickered, slowly floating away to where Wendy was when she heard Wendy became more agitated.
