Today of All Days (1/1)
Ch 1: Today of all days
Tae's POV
I ran throughout my apartment franticly 'Damn it, I can't be late again.' I had everything else, all I needed was my damn left shoe. I wasn't only late because of the adventure to find the missing shoe, oh no, my alarm clock just had to go off late. The damned thing went off at 8pm instead of 7:30pm. Yeah, yeah, yeah, I have a night job whatever.I thought to myself 'Today of all days.'
I exclaimed in joy as I found the runaway shoe, slipping it on quickly, grabbing my things, I ran out the door, locking my door and heading for my car.
I entered my car and swiftly inserted the key to the machine. It made a noise that isn't supposed to come from a car; at least not a working one. With that I cursed under my breath, trying and trying again to start up my car, only resulting with failure in the end.
I slammed my head against the wheel 'today of all days'.
I cursed yet again and grabbed my things from my car and decided to sprint to work, in hope of possibly getting there on time.
~
I quickly entered my work place. The towns hottest club. And I know you're wondering 'what's a 19 year old kid like me working at a club?' Let's just say I owed someone a favor. I didn't do the pole dancing or lap dances, I just worked at the bar, mixing drinks and all that jazz.
Everytime I come into work, it's around the time when the well known, most popular pole dancer comes out. I can't tell you his real name, at least not yet, because I don't know myself; no one here does, exempt maybe, Jimin, or Rap Monster, they're also dancers. Jimin seemed okay, he seemed like he could suck the fun out of things some times, but other than that, a cool guy to be around, he was quite popular with the ladies, with his defined abs, dark hair and dark eyes.. Rap Monster, his real name is Kim Namjoon, he seemed pretty cool too, his hair was white with a tint of pink to it, and sometimes it lay flat against his head, and sometimes it's in the style of a mowhawk type thing.
Anyway, back to no name. His stage name is J-Hope, and I can certainly see why, with the way he moves, he , and I know I sound cheesy when I say this, but it's like every time he dances, he makes me want to go out and the world and do something... it's just so, hopeful (da dum tss)
Every single time he walks on that stage, his red tinted hair that brightens in the light, his sharp features even more noticable, and his dark eyes shining. leaves my heart pounding furiously in my chest, I get so excited to see what he's going to do, what move of his hips will leave me breathless this time?my new boss jumps as I bust through the doors and he gives me a death glare, stomping over to me.
"Really Tae? Again?! I know you're goofy, but you need to be more responsible!"
I start stammering telling him my reason as to being late, after me trying to explain he grumbled and put a finger in my face.
"This is you're last warning Taehyung, you're not going to get very far with excuses here." With that he walked off into his office.
As soon as he turned his back I walked over to my work station where I would be mixing drinks and began to mimic him with a goofy look on my face as high of a tone as I could muster.A man had come up to the bar asking for a cocktail.
"yes sir" I replied beginning to prepare the cocktail for him when I looked over to see J-Hope walking on the stage.I smiled and quickly finished up the beverage, handing it to the man and turning all of my attention to the man on the stage.
