Love is such an insufficient word.  Love can be used for the way you feel about your friends, your family members, your children, your favorite sports team, actors, singers, small fluffy creatures, or even your electronic devices.  Declaring your love for any of those things is just such a casual and offhand thing that nobody questions it any more.  Of course you love your friends, and your pets, and that guy who did that thing, but declaring your love for someone to whom you want to cling for the rest of your life is the most gut-wrenchingly vulnerable thing you can do.  Love can bloom in an instant or it can grow and blossom slowly, but when you feel it no matter to whom or what, there is no mistaking it.

Unless it was the drugs. Or just Jiyong's poor overtaxed brain trying to make sense of something that was confusing.

Best not to think about it too much.

People want to be loved right?  They want to be told that they are needed and wanted and that their absence is felt.  Who wouldn't want to hear that?  And being told that, who wouldn't respond?  Happily respond, or angrily respond, or questioningly respond, just respond.  Not hunker down in a room closed off and not answer at all.  That wasn't right.  That wasn't fair.Was the transgression in saying what was not meant to be said?  Or did it exist in the space where relationship lines were crossed, and there was a demand to be something more, something different?  Why make a po
