Sehun sat on the couch in the living room and looked at the couple before him; watched as the bubbly, honey-haired boy smiled widely in the arms of the fox-eyed boy who was holding him by the waist. He watched as they laughed, embracing each other like lovebugs, and felt as his heart broke off yet another piece into the empty abyss that was his soul. If anyone would've told Sehun a month ago that the one person he had put all of his faith into would betray him so nonchalantly, so venemously, he would've never believed them. If they would've told him how much he'd hurt, he would've laughed in their faces, with two arms around his then-lover and a warm kiss on the other's soft protruding lips to seal that fact.

But here he was, very much dead inside as he watched his other groupmate grab onto his Luhan, holding his Luhan, and all he could do was sit and go through the torture as he watched them.

♥When he first had found out about the affair, both of the dorms had been in utter chaos. Luhan and Sehun's relationship had been the most exclusive of the more-than-brothers group of twelve boys, and when the storm had finally come, it had truly went in a rage. Furniture thrown over, cries and wailing in the dead of night coming from Sehun's room, and the biggest event was the physical confrontation between Sehun and Xiumin.

Sehun had stormed into the M dorm during the second week of the breakup with flowing tears and heated rage. Finding Xiumin in the living room casually laughing with Chen and Lay at some TV show, he walked over in a rush and knocked Xiumin onto the ground with a hard fist. The sharp pain his hand was experiencing was absolutely nothing compared to the pain of losing his soulmate to another. He bent down, managing another deck to Xiumin's cheekbone before Xiumin reached up and threw Sehun onto the ground next to him. Xiumin was athletic; agile, swift, and strong. With a manic Sehun on the ground, he managed a few good hits on the boy before Chen and Lay walked over to rip the fox-boy off his prey, allowing Sehun to breathe, the taste of iron swimming strongly in his mouth.

"What the FUCK, Oh Sehun!", Xiumin screamed at the youngest.

"You bitch, you stole my Luhan! You thieving.. heartless.. YOU STOLE MY LUHAN!", Sehun screamed, tears overflowing from his eyes as the reality of his words settled in as fact on every passing syllable he related to Xiumin.

It was set in stone now.

♥Luhan was the type of boy who loved adventures, loved to explore new things and live life to its fullest. He lived on pure instinct, praising the rawness of doing things without a set script; like the flowing river, Luhan was always moving and Sehun should've known that it was only a matter of time before the daily trips to the local bubble tea shops and nights in watching romantic comedies would discourage the freebird. Like a fairy, flying free and merrily, with naught but mischief in his eyes, Luhan was the untamed one; wild.

Sehun had always felt, in those three years of their relationship, that Luhan and him were meant for each other; written in the skies above, and there for a lifetime. Luhan was his other half, he had never doubted it. So when he had given his heart to Luhan, he had never realized how much of himself he had truly given the boy, until it was too late and he had left in the night, Sehun's bleeding heart in Luhan's hands.

"Sehun-ah.. Sehun-ah..." a warbled voice spoke into his right ear. A familiar voice; soft, sweet... like his Luhan.

Watching Luhan as he was twirled around by Xiumin, laughing cheerfully as Sehun felt crushed deeper into the seat he was sitting on, he replied to the words in his head with a dry, dead voice.

"Yes."

The world span, everything saturated except for the two lovers dancing in the middle of the living room. They grew smaller and smaller, until they were no longer there, a white wall shielding them from sight.

Soft.

He felt like he was floating, staring up at the white ceiling above which swam in surreal, bloating spirals. He was sure the drugs were kicking in, finally. He'd asked one of the trainees he knew for some earlier that day, just for something to release the pain; to numb it so he could finally breathe.

His heart raced as he watched the ceiling warp, twisting into swirls of white popcorn, until something dark appeared over him. It was a head, blonde. Blondish locks, like the boy who still held his heart in his grip; blonde hair, like his Luhan had back then. He reached up to touch the soft strands, the figure saying something, but nothing mattered in this moment, nothing at all..

Tao looked down at Sehun, begging him to tell him what was wrong as the boy began to stroke his hair. He sighed, knowing that something was off, and watched Sehun's dilated eyes look right through him. He got up from the bed and walked over to the only desk occupying Sehun's single room, immediately finding the small clear baggy of multicolored, tape squares on the surface.

He walked back over to Sehun and watched as the boy began biting into his lower lip, most likely a side effect of whatever he was on. He knew the relationship's end had taken a great toll on his friend, but he had no idea how hard it actually had been for the boy. He ran his fingers through Sehun's hair, feeling so heartbroken at seeing the person he loved suffering so much; he felt so much anger towards Luhan's actions then that he had to fight that itching urge to find and punch Luhan square in the face for breaking him like this.

"Sehun, Sehun, can you hear me?", he poked the boy, trying not to shake him too much as he lied on the bed. Sehun simply hummed in acknowledgement, more at the pleasing sound vibrations of Tao's words than an understanding of them.

Instinct and fright took over Tao then and he leaned down, kissing the broken boy below him, a tear falling down his cheek as he wished he could take away all the pain he was feeling. Sehun moaned into his mouth, with twitchy fingers grabbing tightly onto the bedsheets and Tao's shirt.

Tao loved Sehun.

Tao was in love with Sehun, and had been ever since the first time they met in the SM practice room when EXO had been formed. He loved the way his eyes turned into small crescent moons, hand covering his mouth as he bashfully chuckled, loved how stern and serious he was for someone his age compared to the other trainees; one of Tao's basic virtues in life was a sense of responsibility and honor. It was love at first sight, Sehun's physical appearance simply an added bonus to the sweet soul hiding within the human shell. He had fallen hard for this boy when he had shyly come up to him and requested friendship when no other member had approached him for a while, his strong looks intimidating most likely, but Sehun wasn't hesitant with him, and because of this he cherished him above all others.

It was fact that he had been dejected when Luhan had been the one to verbally reach Sehun's heart first, but Tao loved Sehun so much that he had put Sehun's happiness above his own; the glowing smiles Sehun shared every day were worth every moment of loneliness he bared away from him. He would rather endure eternal damnation alone than to make this boy hurt as he did right now.

So he leaned down further and pressed his lips deeper into Sehun's softer ones, giving Sehun his life force in the kiss and wanting Sehun to finally be free of his suffering. He wrapped himself in Sehun, lying there on his bed with him and holding him tight while Sehun played curiously with the empty space between them in a daze, Tao desperately trying to bring him closer to him.

♥Somewhere around twelve in the afternoon the next day, Tao woke up in an empty bed; Sehun's.

Tao had no idea how drugs worked, if Sehun knew what he had done to him the night before, and whether or not Sehun would hate him now if he did. So he flinched when the door of the room opened and in walked an apparently focused Sehun, rummaging through one of his drawers of the desk in search of something.

"Tao, have you seen a small bag anywhere?"

His drugs. Tao knew exactly what he was looking for, the small clear baggy which still rested deep within his right pocket.

"No."

Sehun and Tao were close friends for a long time, and besides Kris, Sehun was the one other member who truly knew him, and especially knew when he was lying.

"Give it to me, Tao.", he sternly demanded the older.

"No.", Tao said, body sitting up straight against the wall as he watched Sehun's face darken with malice.

"Give me the damn bag, Zitao, I am not kidding with you right now.", and he began to walk closer to the bed where Tao sat still, arms locked at his sides.

Tao sat firm in his position, knowing that Sehun would simply buy it off someone again, and his heart clenched as he felt like the boy was only going to fall down deeper and deeper into into the rabbit hole if it continued like this; it terrified him.

Sehun made it to the bed's edge and waited, but Tao only stared back at him, careful to make any movement. In the matter of a second, Sehun lunged at Tao and began to reach for his pockets in obvious desparation as Tao grabbed a hold of his shoulders to try and steady him away.

"Give it to me! Give it to me, damnit, I need them!", he screamed, banging Tao's body hard against the wall as they wrestled on the sheets for control over the other. Tao managed to grab a hold of both of Sehun's thin arms and flipped him over onto his back, hovering over him. He looked at Sehun below him, flailing about and raving on and on about his needs; his desperate need to have the substance in Tao's pocket, and so the tears welled in Tao's eyes. His love.. his beautiful, charming prince was becoming a monster right before his very eyes.
