Chapter 6 (1/1)

I quickly grabbed the flash light beside my bed and shined it towards the door. That was opened. Fucking hell, why didn't I close the fucking door?I started to think about what the hell could have made that noise. What if someone was in here? What if it was my dad? I put the flashlight down and covered my face with my hands, my breath picking up considerably. Why would he be here? Who knows what we would want with me? My mind was racing a mile a minute when I heard another loud crash that made me jerk my head up and flash the light towards the door again."Hello!?" I called out, mentally kicking myself. That might have not been the best idea, but all I heard was the rain beating down on my home and thunder booming. This did not help my situation at all. It feels like I'm in some sort of cheap horror flick. This is fucking bullshit.I grabbed the baseball bat from under my bed and cautiously headed for the door. "Is anyone there?!" I called out again, finally leaving my room and shining my flashlight practically everywhere. When I entered the living room, all of my candles were out. I didn't blow them out. Who the hell put them out? What even.I quietly moved over to the couch to get a better look around and heard another noise coming from the kitchen. My heart dropped.Somethi- someone was there. Fucking hell, all I want is to just disappear. I don't have time for this shit.I turned off the flashlight and silently moved my way to the kitchen. Whatever it was, I didn't want to startle it with bright lights...even though I already called out to the damn thing. When I peeked into my kitchen, I saw that a fucking man was going through my fridge. Somebody was actually in my fucking house.Without thinking, I gasped and covered my mouth with my hands, causing the flashlight and bat to clatter to the floor. The man stopped immediately and was in the process of turning their head to look at me, but I took out running.I ran out, practically flying into my room. Fuck that! I slammed the door shut behind me and leaped on my bed, burying myself under my pillows and blankets like they were actually going to save me.Soon enough, I heard footsteps and my whole body began to shake. I peeked out from my covers just enough to see and saw the doorknob begin to jiggle.I bit my lip to keep from squeaking at the sight of it and mentally kicked myself for being such a coward. As the knob continued to jiggle, I prepared myself for my father appearing in the doorway, but when that door finally fucking flew open, I didn't see who I expected at all. My jaw practically fell to the floor."Wha-What are you doing here?!" He just gave me a sinister smirk. "Are...are you g-going to h-hurt me..?" Even though my voice shook like fuck, that didn't stop me from glaring daggers at the prick."No. I'm not going to hurt you, but I am hungry." Yongguk turned on his heel and left the room, heading back to my kitchen."Wha- wait!" I called out before I scrambled out from under my cushiony armor and followed him back into kitchen."What do you think you're doing?! That's my damn food!" Until Yongguk turned around and gave me a teasing smirk, I didn't realize my voice came out ridiculously whiny and that I was actually pouting."Yeah. I'm fixing to eat it too." He sent a greasy wink in my direction. That paired with that sinfully sexy, deep voice of his did not help my sudden increase of self-loathing."Why?" I asked without really thinking. "Why? Ha, really? Do you realize how long I've been locked up? Getting fed shitty food every damn day? I'm in need of some that isn't slop."He turned back around to raid my fridge and I went back to glaring holes in the back of his stupidly attractive head that he used to stupidly make sense."Gah. You don't have anything good." He shook his head before snatching a bag of my beloved cheetos from the counter and plopping himself down on my couch."Why did you blow out all the candles?" I asked as I walked over to the couch. "I don't know. I just felt like it. It scared you~" He chuckled before munching away on my chips."More like leaved more work for me to do." I grumbled as I grabbed the matches from the table in front of us and lit the candles around the room before settled on the couch with Yongguk."Ah~ that's better." He sighed in contempt as I scoffed in annoyance. "You're Himchan, right? I met you yesterday."Are you fucki- gah. "Yeah." My voice was practically dripping of annoyance and he just laughed which only made me more irritated. "Hey. Your dad is a real asshole.""You don't think I fucking know that?!" My voice had rised and so did Yongguk's eyebrows. I cleared my throat and began again."Speaking of which...where is he? I thought that he would be with you." Yongguk just shrugged. "Beats me. He could be anywhere by now and I could care less."He stuffed more cheetos in his mouth before continuing. "As for me, I have my own things to take care of and I don't have time for babysitting that jackass."I tilted my head to get a better look at the guy in front of me. He was absolutely soaked. Drenched really. "How did you get in?" He lazily gestured to the open window across the room."You don't leave windows unlocked, fucktard." My eyes widened a little, a small blush covering my cheeks before he locked his gaze on mine, leaning in a bit. "So Himchan... you scared?" My eyes widened even more, my blush deepening as I leaned back slightly out of reflex."N-no. No. I'm not scared." He fully leaned back and that stupid smirk graced his stupidly handsome face once again before he popped another one of my cheetos into his mouth."Well, you should be."
