Chapter Five (1/2)
“Come on, please?” Woohyun tried for the fifteenth time today and it was only morning. Gritting your teeth together, you turned your head away from Woohyun.
“No.” you firmly stated and crossed your arms to your chest stubbornly. Woohyun let out a small sigh as he ran a hand through his hair.
It had been two days since you and Sunggyu had your argument. Two days of which Woohyun had to play peacemaker and tried to coaxed you into forgiving Sunggyu.
Of course, all his attempts were failing as seen by your sulking figure in your glass home.
Taking a seat on his bed, he looked over at you as you refused to look at him. Sure, you were still slightly angry with Sunggyu and even started to feel a little guilty since you realized that Sunggyu was only worried about his friend, but Woohyun constantly bothering you was not helping.
“~~~~. I know Sunggyu-hyung said something out of line, but the two of you should really make up... Pwease for me?” You couldn’t help, but to take a glance at Woohyun when he used his aegyo voice. You tried to hold your snicker in as the male pouted at you.
“Aegyo is not your strong point, Woohyun.” you teased unconsciously and Woohyun grinned at this. Finally, an emotion that was relatively heading towards happy.
“So…Are you going talk to hyung?” Woohyun asked again and you sighed at this. Seeing that it was for the best, you uncrossed your arms and stood up from the ground.
“Fine. I will…I’m not doing it for you though.” At the last part, Woohyun pouted again and reached over to the nightstand and poked your bottle gently.
“You don’t love me anymore~?” Woohyun asked and you giggled slightly.
“I never loved you, so-”
“Woohyun!! The cows can‘t milk themselves, you know!” Woohyun’s mother’s voice boomed into the scene before you could finish your sentence. Woohyun looked slightly disappointed as he got up from his bed.
Walking over to his closed door, he opened it slightly and stuck his head out into the hall.
“Alright Mom! I’m coming!” He yelled back before turning back to you. You blinked at him before gesturing your hand towards the door.
“Don’t worry about me. Go milk the cows. I’ll still be here when you’re done. I mean I can’t really go anywhere anyway…” At your words, Woohyun nodded his head.
“Alright. I’ll go milk the cows really quick and come back! Don’t miss me too much~!” You chuckled at him.
“I’ll try not to.” you mumbled and Woohyun gave you one wide grin before going out the door and closing it behind him.
You sighed and sat back down.
“Man…What do I do now?”

Eunmi let out a small hum as she read her book and popped a cookie in her mouth at the same time. Unlike most days, she had a day off from farm chores to do whatever she wanted. She really had to thank her Mom for giving all her chores to her older brother so she could catch on her reading.
She was half-way through the text on the page when her Mom called her from the kitchen. Sighing, the girl got up couch, but not tearing her eyes away from the book. Maneuvering her way across the living room like a pro, she paused at the doorway of the kitchen.
“Yeah, Ma?” She called out and she heard her Mom click her tongue at her.
“Eunmi, What did I tell you about reading and walking at the same time?” Her mother scolded her and Eunmi shrugged her shoulders before turning a page.
“Anyways, can you get the milk bottle from Woohyun’s room? You know his habit and drinking milk before going to sleep.”
“Sure. I don’t mind.” Eunmi mumbled before exiting and heading towards the stairs. It honestly was no problem for her to just walking through her house without looking. After all, she had lived in this same house since she was born.
Stopping out of Woohyun’s room, she opened the door and stepped inside. Expertly, she stepped over the piles of clothes laying carelessly on the ground before stopping at his nightstand. She finally tore her eyes away from her book for a brief second only to see the top half of the glass milk bottle on the nightstand.
Planting her eyes back on her book, she grabbed the bottle by the neck and exited the room. Swinging it casually by her side, she descended the stairs once again and back into the kitchen.
Not hearing her mother who probably went outside to do some of her work, Eunmi went over to the fridge and opened it. She placed milk bottle inside before turning and closing it shut with her foot. She turned to the next page.
“Back to the couch.”

Woohyun let out a small huff as he adjusted the bag of cow feed on his shoulders. Speed walking, he dispersed the cow feed among the cows and threw the empty bag carelessly to his left.
Somehow after milking the cows, his mother had busted into the barn and told him to feed the cows and give them water. Unfortunately, she didn’t tell him that the cow feed supply was low and had to into town to get some.
By the time he had finished feeding them and giving them water, it was sunset. Woohyun let out a small sigh if relief as he threw himself onto the stool in the corner of the barn. Using his forearm, he wiped the sweat off his forehead. He leaned back to take a small nap when knocking on the door of the barn drew his attention.
“Sunggyu-hyung!” Woohyun called out in surprise as the older male walked into the barn. He grinned at his sweat and dirt covered friend.
“Man. You need a shower.” He commented and Woohyun blinked. Bringing an arm up to his nose, Woohyun sniffed himself before shrugging his shoulders.
