"Can't you see him, Sehun?" I cried, pointing my finger to the tall boy standing right beside my bed. "Sehun said he couldn't see you! Isn't he weird?" I asked him with a frustrated look. He was there, he was really there, standing right beside my bed, still with a cheeky grin he had been donning since I entered the bedroom.  "What are you talking about, Sejin?" Sehun, my elder brother, asked me with a bewildered look. He looked at the spot I was pointing at, and the bewilderment on his face became more apparent. "There is no one in your bed!" I stared at Sehun who was looking at me with a concerned look, and then directed my gaze to the tall boy. He was there, I saw him. He had been for a moment. I had heard his voice. I had heard him talking to me, yet now Sehun said that there was no one in my bed. I didn't understand the situation I was at right now. *** It was my birthday. After I was done eating dinner with my family on the dining room, I went upstairs and watched my favorite K-Drama, Descendants of The Sun, on the living room. I was occupied with the scene on the screen when I heard a faint sound coming from my bedroom. "Oh Sejin, come here!" Suddenly, I jolted on my seat. Panic suddenly rushed through me. Whose voice is that? I asked inwardly. My parents were still downstairs, and Sehun was on his room, which was also downstairs. Therefore, there was supposed to be no one inside my room. I suddenly got goosebumps. Am I just hallucinating? I decided to ignore the voice and focused my attention back to the drama. I was not exactly a coward person, but I was not brave either. I lifted my knees and hugged them tightly while watching the handsome captain Yoo Si Jin on the TV Screen. However, then, the voice was heard again. This time, I heard it more clearly. "Oh Sejin, I am inside your room. Come here." I really wanted to cry out of fear. I thought of the possibility that it was Sehun's voice and he merely tried to scare me since it was my birthday, but it sounded nothing like Sehun's voice. I knew his voice too well. Then, whose voice was that? Negative thoughts started to fill my brain. I wanted to cry out Sehun's name, however, my brain didn't seem to function normally because I was too scared to even do anything. Is he a thief? But how could he know my name? Is he a stalker? Is he a ghost? Is he a pervert? Therefore, I just remained on my seat, staring at the TV screen in front of me, trying to distract myself with the scene in front of me. The car was about to fall from the cliff. But the voice called my name again. "Oh Sejin!" I might have thought that my boyfriend just sneaked into my bedroom through the window, but I had two facts that didn't support the theory. First, I didn't have a boyfriend. Second, my bedroom didn't have any window. I closed my eyes and heaved a deep sigh. The tense backsound on the television didn't help at all, so I decided to change the channel which was airing a kid cartoon. I was scared and curious at the same time; whose voice was that? I decided to be brave for once and got up from my seat. I took careful strides towards my room and then opened the door carefully. As soon as the door was opened, I saw a handsome tall boy standing right beside my bed with a cheeky grin. "Happy birthday, Oh Sejin!" I screamed right away. "Who the hell are you!?" I asked him panickedly. He looked appaled upon hearing my screaming and not-so-friendly question. “Don’t scream!” He said as he waved his hands. “I am not going to harm you! Not at all!” This boy didn’t look scary, though. I screamed because I was shocked to find an unknown boy inside my bedroom—who wouldn’t be? However, seeing his cheeky grin and handsome appearance, I didn’t think that he was a bad person, let alone a ghost. “Who are you?” I asked him, this time I was more calmed down. I started to build positive thoughts inside my brain. Maybe he is Sehun’s friend. Maybe he is... uh, a new house keeper. Maybe he is... maybe... “Why are you screaming?” Suddenly, a voice behind me asked. I turned my head just to find Sehun, my older brother, standing behind me with a concerned look. “Who is he, Sehun?” I asked, turning my gaze to the tall boy. “Wha—who? What are you talking about?” Sehun asked me, befuddled. It seemed that he had no idea of what I was talking about. “There!” I said. "What are you talking about, Sejin?" I looked at Sehun, and then looked again at the tall boy. Am I hallucinating? I was confused as hell and scared at the same time. Is he a ghost? I couldn’t think about it anymore and started to cry uncontrollably out of fear. In all eighteen years of my life, I had never seen a ghost, and now probably I had seen one inside my bedroom. A handsome ghost, but still, it scared me. Sehun immediately hugged me and patted my head in a soothing manner. “Don’t cry, Sejin,” Sehun said softly. “I am here. Don’t be scared.” That night, Sehun offered me to sleep on his room. I agreed. Before I closed my bedroom door, I took a last glance at the tall boy. He was still standing there, staring at me with a hurt look. An uneasy feeling suddenly washed over me... and the door was finally closed. I wondered if he would still be there on the next morning. Yeah, it was my first encounter with him. Chan. *** Hello!
