Chapter TWENTY THREE.

I Want You.05Mar2011 Saturday, 3am, Dance Studio.

[Ki Rae's POV]It‘s the wee hours of the morning but I have difficulties falling asleep.Since I lived near the dance studio, I decided to take a walk to the place.To my surprise, the lights of the studio are still on, and it brightly lit the whole corridor and the stairway.As I approached the closed glass doors, I saw a figure moving, dancing swiftly to the rhythm of the music."Hyung Jun oppa," I greeted as I pushed the door open, "Why are you still here? It‘s already three.""Ani, just a bit more. I find some mistakes in my dance and I want to correct and improve them.""Are you okay? You look pale. You should rest if you‘re not feeling-." I reminded him, but before I could finiah my sentence, BAM! He collapsed onto the ground.It‘s my fault, I shouldn‘t have said too much. I rushed to him and wanted to help him up. But I guess he is feeling weak all over."Hyu-Hyung Jun ah," I touched his forehead, it's burning hot, "You‘re having a fever!"He coughed but didn‘t reply."What do you think you are doing to yourself? If this goes on, you will collapse before you debut as a soloist!" Though I might be scolding him, my heart aches to see him like this."Mian." He apologized."Come on, let‘s go to the resting room okay?" I helped him up slowly and walked him over to the resting room which is fully equipped with a couch, a television set and a bed. He laid down obediently while I went to fetch a wet towel and some water for him.By the time I came back, I noticed that he had fallen asleep. Poor kid, he must be tired, why won‘t he just give himself a break. He must be so stressed from all the comments and all the preparation work for his debut as a soloist."Ki Rae..." He muttered. I thought he is awake and asking for me so I went over to take a look, but he is still asleep.Sleep talking. I thought."You know, I have liked you since a long time." He continued and gave me a huge shock when he caught my hand just as I was about to walk away. I turned back and held his hands, they were warm probably because of his fever."Ki Rae, please don‘t leave me. Don‘t leave me like the hyungs, I don‘t want to be a soloist, I only want to be in SS501 forever." He must be crying in his sleep."Don‘t worry, I won‘t leave you." I smiled and pulled him close to me, his body feels hot. I looked into the mirror and found myself blushing as I noticed he was just wearing a thin layer of singlet and laying in my arms. I took off my jacket and covered it on his bare arms.After some time, I felt my legs go numb and I lifted his head lightly to change his posture so that it wouldn't wake him up. I brushed away the strands of hair covering his eyes, make sure that he is indeed sleeping soundly before I whispered, "Hyung Jun oppa, saranghaeyo." 09mar2011 Wednesday, 7pm, Dance Studio.

[3rd person's POV]“Thank you for your hard work!” Hyung Jun and all the dancers bowed to each other as a form of courtesy as all the dancers proceeded home.“Are you planning to stay and continue practicing again?” Ki Rae looked worriedly at him.“Ani, I am going to bring you somewhere today!” Hyung Jun beamed at the secret thought of his birthday surprise for her, and stood up, picking up his bag and dragging her away out of the studio.“Where are you bringing me to?!” Ki Rae asked as Hyung Jun walked through the streets in a quick pace, and they finally stopped in front of a huge lavish restaurant, letting them rest for a quick breath.“We are here!” Hyung Jun and Ki Rae made their way through the big glass doors and the waiter showed them to their seat at a far corner of the restaurant,  separated from most of the other customers so that they have their own peace.Ki Rae smiled as Hyung Jun helped her get settled down on her seat before he gets to his, she thought it was just some simple dinner together as she has long forgotten what important day it was today. [Ki Rae’s POV]We took our order but Hyung Jun oppa insisted on some wine. I looked at him worriedly, “But you have just recovered from fever few days ago, we can always drink it other times.”“Fine then, since uri Ki Rae told me not to. Let’s get fruit juice instead.” He smiled cheekily and pinched my cheek, making me blush for no reason, maybe it was because he said ‘uri Ki Rae’.After we finished our main courses, Hyung Jun oppa took a rise from his seat and excused himself to the washroom, but I saw him went to the waiter who served as and whispered something into his ear, before disappearing into the washroom.That’s weird, what are they trying to do? Or maybe he is just hungry and wants to order some more. I randomly made some guesses and looked around uncomfortably as I waited for oppa to come back, well I don’t really like the feeling to be left alone.It just felt… lonely.“Saengil chukahamnida. Saengil chukahamnida. Saranghaneun Oh Ki Rae. Saengil chukahamnida.” I looked up in surprise and was amazed when Hyung Jun oppa was standing by my side with flowers and teddy bear in one hand and a trolley with a birthday cake beside him. I was too absorbed in my thinking that I didn’t know when it got there. And to think that even I myself have forgotten about my own birthday!I felt myself blush again but I couldn’t break the eye contact with Hyung Jun. As he finished the birthday song, he said, “Ki Rae ah, Happy birthday. Promise me, you’ll always be happy.” His voice is gentle but I feel that he is nervous too since his voice is slightly shaky.I nodded and made a wish in my heart, “I want oppa to be happy too, and his solo career to be smooth-sailing.” and we blow the candles together.He handed me the flowers (rose and stock) and there was a small teddy bear sitting on it.“Do you like it?” He asked excitedly and I nodded hard at him, giving his my biggest beam, “Gomawo oppa.”“Do you what rose and stock means?” He asked and I was dumbfounded at his question, and he explained, “Rose stands for love and stock stands for lasting beauty.”I was taken aback, does he mean…“Ki Rae ah, I’ve liked you since the day you stepped into our dance team. You are a special girl and I really mean it when I say I want you to be happy, I hope I can give you all the happiness in the world. Will you be my girlfriend?”[to be continued] ----------------An update! ^^
