The One CmiMiu 117440K 2023-11-02

Jimin slumps down heavily into the cloud couch in Heaven's Junior dorms, issuing a breathless whine as his limbs settle into the clouds. Sure he's training to a become Mars, the Roman God of War, but that doesn't mean travelling all the way from another galaxy is any easier for him. Sometimes he envies his best friend for his wings. “Tae!” He yells when the certain celestial being comes to mind. Taehyung, his platonic soulmate and Cupid-in-training, is missing from their shared quarters and something tells Jimin he knows exactly where he'll find him. And sure enough, when he gets up and walks into their heavenly bedroom, he finds Taehyung watching Earth on their VT with a pair of headphones on. Jimin rolls his eyes and walks around their bunk beds made of several compressed thunderstorms and switches the VT off. “Ya!” Is Taehyung's response, to which Jimin responds with a smack on his forehead. “I was calling for you, you ogre.” Jimin drawls. He snatches away Taehyung's headphones from his head and turns away, ushering him to follow. “I just came back from Cigar Galaxy.” Taehyung's eyes sparkle at the information. He claps his hands, cheerily jumping around as he inquires, “did you meet Thoth?” “You mean Thoth-in-training.” Jimin more or less states with a withering look. Waving his hands, Taehyung scoffs, “yes yes. He's turning into Thoth next decade. That's literally just around the corner.” When Jimin agrees grumpily, he continues, “So did you meet him or not? Did you like him?” “Yes, I met him, Tae,” the slightly elder God whines. He falls lumpily into the cloud mattress again and continues, “and I don’t think we’re gonna work out.” His face falls and Taehyung follows suit to his friends posture, curling up into the cloud. “What happened?” he murmurs as he embrasses Jimin. When the other God doesn’t respond, Taehyung opens his wings and wraps them around Jimin, pouting as he asks. “Was he rude, or something.” Jimin quickly shakes his head a ‘no’ pushing Taehyung away slightly. “Namjoon was great, Tae.” The elder God explains with a sigh. “He’s…” Jimin hesitates and Taehyung knows how much it hurts the boy to reject someone for whatever reason, but he still can’t help but let out an annoyed groan. “He’s just so tall, Tae.” “Seriously!?” Taehyung looks like a mixture of agitation and frustration. “That’s the dumbest reason to reject someone, Chim!” “I know!” Jimin groans, cupping his own face shamefully in his hands. Taehyung watches the boy bite his lips from behind his chubby fingers and can see trails of water leaving his eyes. “I just- I don’t know.” He whispers. “Why don’t you just give him a chance if it hurts so much to reject him, Jimin-ah?” Taehyung acquiesces as he settles back into the warm snuggle they were in. “You do this every time.” He calmly chides. Not bitingly. “You always go out and meet them and then come back home all depressed because you hate yourself for rejecting them.” “I don’t know, Tae. I just…” Jimin trails off, plucking raindrops that are lingering in the arm of the couch they are sharing. “I don't know…” “What don’t you like about him, Chim?” Taehyung more or less pleads. “He’s smart. Next in line to become one of the greatest Egyptian God. He’s handsome, charming, kind. He even has dimples!” The younger ruffles his hair irritably, getting angry all over again now, and repeats his inquiry. “I just don’t get how his height being too much is the only factor that goes into your equation!” “He’s perfect, Taehyung-ah. He was charming. He smiled at me the entire time we were together. We even held hands and you  have no idea how blessed I felt. He’s perfect, Taehyung-ah. Perfect.” Jimin looks up at those words and all the fire in Taehyung’s heart fizzles out at the pain in the elder’s eyes. “He’s just not the one.” *** “Mind telling me why your wings are bleeding, Taehyung?” Jimin asks hauntedly. He has his arms crossed across his chest and his eyes are hooded. The wrath in his eyes burning Taehyung all the way from the other side of their celestial dorm. The calmer he pretends to be, the angrier he is. Taehyung stumbles on the stool he’s sitting on and coughs up a storm - a literal one, which is sent into the storm banks for future calamities on Earth. Having calmed himself down enough not to choke of his own breath, Taehyung starts to stammer. “I- I wa- was… It- A- actually w- what… what happened was t- that… I’m actually… The thing is…” Jimin doesn’t pay heed to his words and simply strolls into their kitchen. He grabs the Holy Water of Jupiter from Taehyung's hands and turns the stool around. With Taehyung’s back facing him, Jimin can make out angry scratch marks lining the wing bone. His axillary feathers are all torn and his tail feathers have been tattered enough to render them useless. The elder winces and he drizzles the liquid on the white and red splotched feathers. When Taehyung winces, Jimin starts speaking again, “this is gonna take a while to heal, Tae. You won’t be able to fly for a couple of scores. Not until your wings grow back.” Taehyung merely hums due to the pain. Jimin knows the boy his just gritting through the pain, but it’s not like Jimin can do anything to make him feel any better. Jupiter’s Holy water, as much as it stings, is the only ointment that can heal this. “... Thank You, Jimin-ah” Taehyung whispers after a while as Jimin continues to pour the stinging acid over Taehyung’s wounds. “Who did it, Tae?” Jimin shoots without missing a beat. Taehyung chuckles at the eagerness in the God’s voice. He sounds ready for war. Then again, he is training to be the God of War. “I’m not telling you. Jiminie.” The injured God snickers. “You’ll wage a war on them and lose your internship.” “Not if I destroy them, I won’t.” Jimin’s voice comes out cold and devoid of emotion. It’s the Jimin he is most terrified of because he knows Jimin is capable of destroying worlds when his voice turns this color of anger. The slightly taller God turns his stool around to face Jimin and holds onto the lapels of Jimin’s night gown. “I don’t want you to.” He breaths, resting his head on Jimin’s chest as the God continues pouring ointment over his wounds. “Let’s watch the VT, I wanna catch up on what happened to Clanronce and Tchigonar.” “Alright, let me get this done with.” Jimin agrees as he dabs the last of the liquid on Taehyung’s inner wing. When he moves away he huffs a tired sigh and ruffles his friends hair as he says, “why don’t you get some snacks, and I’ll put it on, okay?” Taehyung shrieks gleefully and jumps down from the chair, reaching for their snack volt, speaking over his shoulder. “You do know what channel, right?” Without waiting for a reply, he continues, “it comes on the Andromeda Network. On channel KELT-1b.” As Jimin leaves the kitchen, though, Taehyung’s excitement dies down. He’s scarily aware of the fact that Jimin will find out who beat him up. It won’t be a lie to say that he is terrified of that happening. The last time it happened they had to replace Poseidon. *** The next one is a mere two weeks later. Taehyung, gleefully screeching at the top of his lungs, declares how he snatched a date with Apollo for Jimin. “You'll love him, Chimchim!” The Cupid-in-training proclaims. His wings flapping at his back like a dog's tail. “He's the most sunshiniest God in all of MilkyWay!” Jimin, who is busy monitoring the battles of Megallanic Clans, spares the boy a glance and tiredly inquires. “When is it?” He sounds as if it's more of a chore than a date. “Tomorrow!” * “He's not the one, Tae.” Jimin declares as soon as he crosses the threshold of his heavenly home. “Why NOT!” Taehyung demands, not allowing to Jimin to enter by blocking his way with his arms spread out. He's angry. Really angry. Jimin can tell he is, in the way his nose flares. The way his wings turning purple with anger. And the way Taehyung stomps up to him. “T- Tae.” Jimin stammers. He's at loss for words. Usually is when Taehyung gets this way. Because he can't fight with the boy when he knows he's the one in the wrong. “He is fucking Apollo, Jimin! The God of Happiness! Wellbeing! What the Hell is wrong with you!” The younger God screeches and pulls at his hair in utter spite. His blood boiling. His nerves popping at the neck, arms. At the blades of his wings. “What was it this time!?” He round on Jimin. Hands on hips. Demanding an explanation. “He's just not the one, Taetae.” Jimin beseeches. Hating how they are fighting over something so dumb. He makes to touch Taehyung's arms but is refuted with a sharp push to side. “Don't!” Taehyung threatens, holding out his finger. “Was he too happy for you? What he too handsome? Too nice?” He mocks Jimin. Laughing out sarcastically. Acidly. “He's such a devil, isn't he? Being the best he could've been and expecting you to like him. To agree to meet him again! God! Hoseok was an Idiot!” “Tae…” Jimin whimpers but the other is already retreating back into his room. He's been on fifteen blind dates now, courtesy Taehyung. But they've never fought this bad. They've never fought period. By the time he does angle into their bedroom, Taehyung is turned on his side and seems fast asleep. Except, he isn’t. He isn't sleeping. And he clearly hears Jimin mutter an apology as he climbs up on the top bunk. His voice thick with feelings. The elder had been crying, much like he is right now. He hates this. This obsession to pay Jimin back for all the times the elder God has helped him with bullies and mean elder Gods out to get him. He hates his crazed drive to find Jimin love as a repayment for all the times he helped him patch up injuries or saved him from his cannibalistic brothers. He hates that they are fighting when trying to find love. *** “I can not believe you got me a date again.” Jimin howls horrified. He’s staring at the beautiful steed ridden chariot that awaits his arrival out front with a distraught look. The dazzling, golden horses are a little daunting but the mini birds circling the seat is a nice touch according to the celestial being. They sent a personal carriage to get him. Taehyung, grinning like the madhatter, gazes at the chariot dreamily. “You're so lucky you have a best friend like me.” He proclaims whimsically. Gesturing towards himself and holding his face appreciatively in a flower pot gesture - he learned that on the VT while watching some people on the Earth Channel. “Who else can get you, an Intern God, a date with Adonis!?” “But I don't want to date Adonis!” Taehyung gasps dramatically and regards Jimin as if he just committed blasphemy. “You take that back!” He points a threatening finger at the God, who, to his credit, looks not at all concerned by the threat. When Jimin doesn't seem to want to back down Taehyung slumps down and pouts. “But I wanna thank you for beating up Eros for me.” Jimin's expression softens and he let's a smile color his features. “Fine,” he agrees tacitly. “I'll go. Because you seem to want to ‘repay the favor’ or whatever.” “It's not just that.” The younger God mumbles. But Jimin can hear it loud and clear in the Heavenly Garden they're in. Mainly because Taehyung is speaking and Jimin can always hear him. “I just want you to find love.” “That's the cheesiest thing in all of the thousand universes I've heard of.” The elder deadpans. His eyes looking like that hyphen emoji. Taehyung, his wings turning pink, shyly bites out. “It's just that, I'm in my second century of becoming the God of Love… but my bestfriend doesn't have a lover.” With an amused smile, Jimin quirks his eyebrows. “You don't either.” “Just meet Adonis, please! You'll like him, trust me!” Taehyung jumps on the balls of his feet in an failed attempt to make the change of topic sound seamless. Of course nothing misses Jimin, but he simply rolls his eyes on that. Jimin, begrudgingly, then dones on the clothes Taehyung had selected for him and heads towards the chariot sent for him. Before he leaves he reminds his friend over his shoulders, “I'll go. For you. And because it's Adonis and I don't want a God's wrath on my internship resume.” “I know. I know. Now go!” Taehyung pushes Jimin out, giggling in excitement. The horses at front neigh fiercely and the carriage floats up as Jimin, once again, reiterates to Taehyung, “but remember, Tae. He's not the one.” As if he hasn't said that almost a dozen times already. * As Jimin drags his feet into their shared bedroom, Taehyung opens his eyes battling at the sleep stuck to the corner of his closed lids. “You're back?” He moans and Jimin looks away. “Go back to sleep” is Jimin's comeback. He ignores the disappointment the crosses Taehyung's face. And gropes around in the dark for his pair of glasses. “I'll be out doing some reading.” He's snuggled into the living room couch when Taehyung trails out of the bedroom with his blanket make out of Angel feathers wrapped around himself. Jimin sighs expectantly and closes his book placing it on the coffee table. He moves his feet closer to his chest to allow for room for Taehyung to settle into. “I know you said he's not the one,” Taehyung begins in a placating tone. “I just want to know how the date went. I told you to at least have fun, didn't I?” Smirking pleasantly, Jimin cuddles up closer to his friend's inviting figure and hums giddily. “You actually threatened me over the HolyPhone, Tae.” He reminds the God. Scoffing happily he continues. “Anyway. I would in fact have had fun without you having to force me to.” With dream filled eyes, he smiles at his friend. “Seokjin… He… He's amazing, Tae.” Something pierces Taehyung's heart and he forces himself to convince himself that it's happiness for his friend having finally found love. “R- really?” “Yep” The elder God pops the ‘p’. There's mirth in his voice and giddiness of first love in his actions. The ache in Taehyung's heart intensifies and he's left speechless. “He's amazing, Tae.” Jimin gushes. “He's so funny. And a true gentleman. He's everything good with this universe. And Tae!” He jumps. “He's truly the God of everything beautiful! I swear I never saw a more handsome visage.” With that Jimin falls back into the cloud couch with a dreamy sigh. “You like him.” Taehyung states more than asks. He aches with ‘happiness’ for his friend. At least, he thinks it's happiness. Jimin turns his head to look at the God. They're merely centimeters apart. And it never effected Taehyung before but now those few inches feel achingly distant. Something inside him wants to bridge the gap. “I do, Tae.” Jimin hums lowly. A blooming blush colors his features. “He's so perfect.” “I- I'm happy for you.” A prolonged eternity passes as they stare at each other. Then, Jimin breaks the silence as he snuggles deeper into Taehyung's wings. “But like I had said, he's not the one. He's a good friend now. But not the one, Tae.” It's odd, but Taehyung doesn't feel the usual disappointment he used to feel when Jimin rejected his blind dates. He might even be feeling happy that Jimin rejected Seokjin. Question is, why? *** They are sitting in cozy, little Caffè in Heaven that specializes in exotic Neptunian beverages. Jimin is confused between glaring daggers at his friend and eyeballing the cute Norse God seated in front of him. They are at a blind date for Jimin again. This time it's Jungkook. AKA Pre-Intern Loki, God of Trickery. “Umm…” Jimin begins but soon loses his words when the doe eyed boy look up from his coffee. His bunny teeth coming into view when he smiles at the elder. “You're Jungkook, right?” Jungkook, ecstatic at the familiarity with which the elder God greets him, beams at Jimin and nods his head excitedly. “That's me! And you are Mars, right?” With a shy brush of his neck with his right hand, Jimin nods almost modestly. “That's me.” Taehyung, who'd been watching their interactions with unbridled delight, suddenly slams his hands on the table made out of troll scales. “Well, my friends! I'll take your leave now.” With that he sends a mock salute towards Jimin and flying kiss towards Jungkook and floats away into the cloudless skies of Starburst Galaxy. Jimin turns to the young DemiGod. He swallows before he smiles at him. The God is almost angelic and it breaks his heart to know what the outcome of this date will be. * When Jimin turns back in he is greeted by Taehyung sitting on the star at the entrance of their heavenly dorm. The boy looks like he's been having conversation with the slender man and looks drunk on sleep. However, the moment he sees Jimin, Taehyung turns Starry eyes and flies towards the God latching onto his torso with glee. “How did it go?” Are the first words gasp out of Taehyung's lips when he reaches Jimin. Jimin, shooting the God with a tired smile, ushers him inside. “He's an angel. Tall. Broad. Well spoke. We even share the same roots.” He turns around and drops down into Taehyung's bunk echoing a practiced speech he'd perfected on his way back. “He's also from the Triangulum Galaxy. And he has an amazing voice, Tae.” And there it is again. That sudden feeling of losing his wings mid-flight. The feeling of emptiness that fills Taehyung's stomach is frightening. He's distraught at the possibility of Jimin liking someone and that just doesn't settle well with him. Shouldn't he be happy for his friend instead of feeling… jealous? “Are you gonna date him?” Is all he can manage in the dark room they sit in. There's a stagnant pause that is filled with Jimin's breathing. “He's a fetus, Tae.” Jimin drawls and Taehyung can actually imagine Jimin rolling his eyes. It's obvious that Jimin had rejected Jungkook but nothing could make Taehyung happier. “He applied for Godly Internship this year!” Jimin continues to insist. “He's more like a little brother!” Taehyung, taking cover of the dark that shrouds them, smiles sinfully happy. “I see.” He makes sure his glee is covered up with his top class acting skills. Jimin, clearly falling for Taehyung's facade, turns on his stomach. He pulls Taehyung's knee closer and uses it as a makeshift pillow. “He's not the one, Tae. I'm sorry.” To say that Taehyung is mad would be a lie. He's actually happy. Estatic to be honest. He just doesn't know why. But he likes it when Jimin tries to appease him so he continues pouting. Until Jimin agrees to cuddle with him while they watch the Earth Channel all night long. *** “You are dead, you asshole!” Jimin yells wildly while ramming his fists into Inari’s ribs. The crack of bones is what makes a frozen Taehyung move. He races to the fighting duo and howls at Jimin to stop. “Stop it, Jimin-ah!” His breaths coming out in gasps. His feet giving way as he collapses into the bed of hot sand. “Stop it, J- Jimin!” The fact that he's latched himself on the lapels of Jimin's trousers does nothing to stop his friend. Jimin, finally getting his bearings, stumbles back. His nose flaring, his veins turned purple, the God of War (almost) growls at the bleeding deity in front of him. He grabs Inari’s collars and pulls his face close to his own. “You pick on Taehyung again, I swear to fucking Almighty, you're dead. You hear me!” Jimin shakes his and continues growling at the semiconscious entity. “Once more I find that Taehyung has been beaten- No! If you so much as TOUCH HIM!” He stops. Pushing his face even closer to the whimpering one's and whispers hauntingly, “you're gonna disappear entirely, I swear, you are.” He doesn't wait for a reply and Jimin simply turns away. He pulls Taehyung to his feet and carries the boy away. Walking all the way back home with Taehyung curled up into his embrace. *** “Let me guess.” Jimin smirks, pulling out the tie from the hooks in his closet. “You got me another date?” Taehyung, biting in his lighting crackers looks up surprised. “What?” Jimin chuckles happily as he continues to dress in, now that Taehyung takes notice, Human Clothes. “I gotta hand it to you, Tae. I like him. This one just might be The One.” Panic settles into Taehyung's bones as he exclaims out loud, “W- who are you talking about, Jimin!?” But the elder God is already already out the door and on his way to, where Taehyung can see now, down to Earth. * Taehyung can feel earthly tears streaming down his face at the eye smile that Jimin elicits in the presence of the mere Human, Yoongi. It boils his blood and makes dragons breath fire in his gut at the gummy smile Yoongi shoots at Jimin that make him melt. He watches, with utter pain, how Jimin tries to shamelessly drape his body over the Human’s body. How Jimin edges his fingers close to Yoongi's. How Jimin's lips never once fail in their easy flirting. How Jimin can't sense his presence in the ice rink they are in, because he's too busy being enamoured by Yoongi's formidable laughter. So, with a heavy heart and broken footsteps, Taehyung turns away. Lifting himself up to Heavens. Jimin, it seems to Taehyung, has found his True Love after all. * When Jimin comes back home, his lips are plush red and his neck is littered with hickeys. His eyes looking dreamy and he smells sinful. Taehyung couldn't have thought it possible, but he suddenly hates Jimin in that moment. “How was the date?” Taehyung echoes. His voice flat, holding no signs of genuine care. It's like he's given up. “Who was he?” Jimin stops mid stride, looking at Taehyung aghast. “You mean… you didn't set him up with me?” Taehyung, folding his knees up to his chest, shakes his head in denial. He is trying to make himself seem smaller and Jimin knows something is wrong in all of this. “He's Human.” He states. As if that is what takes precedence over everything. Jimin sighs sharply and falls dead into the ground where Taehyung is sat. He leans his head on Taehyung's shoulder and let's his arm cradle the God in a loose embrace. “Well, for what it's worth… He's not the one, either.” Hope. It's hope that dwindles in Taehyung's heart. His heart swells in unbridled content and and he turns to Jimin with a jerk. It's like life breathed into a dead body, Jimin realizes, how Taehyung looks so happy. “B- But you… you said he might just be The One.” “I did try kissing him, if that stands for something. I Liked it.” Jimin nuzzles his nose into Taehyung's neck and smirks at the stutter of his friend's Adam's apple. He feels Taehyung go ridged under his touch and feels a sense of satisfaction in his limbs as he explains, “He's just not the one, Tae. I really, really liked him. Probably the most out of all. But…” “... But?” “But he's not enough.” *** It's Inari that leads to them where they are. “I can't believe you actually destroyed Inari.” Taehyung whispers as they are sitting down to eat in their dinner in the bedroom. Jimin looks up from slurping on octopus feet and coughs before turning angry again. “He was trying to violate you! I fucking told him not to even think of touching you!” Jimin slams his chopsticks on the table and grabs a shot of Orions Tonic. “He deserved what was coming at him!” Taehyung can't disagree with that. He himself was mildly traumatized by the Japanese God climbing over him trying to smack his lips with Taehyung, when he'd gone down the God's office to submit an assignment. He can't even begin to thank all the blessings in the world for the moment Jimin dashed through the door of the staff room Taehyung was locked in when the younger friend screamed for help. Talk about submitting an assignment being life threatening. “Still. You could've just beat him up real bad.” Taehyung tries again but it's evident in his smile that he's more than glad to be rid of the nasty excuse for God. “I heard Almighty is having trouble finding a replacement because of low applications for Inari’s post.” “I say good riddance.” Jimin takes another swig of alcohol and winces appreciatively at the acid running down his throat. “The nerve of that guy!” Seeing anger taking over Jimin's temperament again, Taehyung places a warm hand over his friend's. And just like that, sparks fly. It's not something unnatural. They hold hands all the time. Have been for the past twenty centuries. Holding hands is more of an instinctive act than a conscious thought. But this time, it's different. This time Jimin tries to map the line that make up Taehyung's palm as he turns it over. Feeling the softness of his skin as he draws lazy circles in the younger one's knuckles. This time Taehyung awes over how adorable the God of War’s hands are. How his fingers slid in beautifully between the gaps in Jimin's. Hand holding soon turns into an eye match. Neither looks away as they start inching dangerously close. It's Jimin that looks away first. Down at Taehyung's lips. His breath hitches at Jimin's gaze and Taehyung opens his lips instinctively. As if it's the most normal thing to invite your best friend to kiss you. But, Jimin thinks none of that. He looks back up into Taehyung eyes. He pushes Taehyung into the wall where their bunk beds are pushed against and places his arms next to his head as if to trap him. They are currently on Taehyung's bed and the elder God appreciates the location because that means they are on the bottom bunk. And being sandwiched by the top bunk only gives Jimin more room to trap Taehyung in. “Would you mind,” the elder begins, licking his lips. “If I kiss you?” His words stuck in his throat, Taehyung barely manages to shake his head a no. And even though Jimin knows that this means an ‘okay’ he let's a frown on his face and pouts, “why? You don't want me to kiss you?” “I- I didn't say that!” Taehyung is quick to refute. Shaking his head rapidly to indicate denial at Jimin's words. Jimin chuckles cheekily at the boy's eagerness but he's having too much. “How come you don't wanna kiss me, though, Tae?” He mocks wonders watching Taehyung starting to get agitated at Jimin's ‘oblivious’ behaviour. The elder pouts larger than before and pushes his lips closer into Taehyung field of vision. “Look at these lips!” He exclaims, pinching his own lips. “They are so kissable!” “I- I want-” Taehyung tries to speak but is cut off by his annoying best friend who likes to tease. “Fine.” Jimin declares moving away slightly. Laughing internally at the way Taehyung makes to grab at his robes. “I'll just leave then.” “Jimin-ah~” Taehyung whines. And all resolve in Jimin's body gets broken down. “Please.” That's all he has to say. Jimin, without wasting anymore time, fiercely pushes Taehyung into the wall pressing his lips hungrily over the younger boy's. And Taehyung can swear he tastes every flavor of Happiness he's ever tasted all in that one kiss. And when Jimin pulls back, he smiles an eye smile at Taehyung that makes any eye smile he could have sent to Yoongi, or anyone for that matter, look like a candle to the sun. * They are lying naked in the bed after a steamy round of sinning. Jimin has Taehyung tucked into his side, his head on Jimin's chest, his fingers playing with the God's nipples. “I never knew I loved you,” Taehyung mutters sleepily as he inches closer into Jimin's side. “I'm such a stupid cupid.” Jimin titters tiredly at the rhyme and kisses the top of Taehyung's head and sighs. “I never knew you could make such high pitched noises.” Taehyung turns red at that and tries to hide his face into Jimin’s chest. “I swear the sound you made when I first entered you was so heavenly. I think it should be the voice-mail for all Heavenly answering machines!” It shouldn't be possible but Taehyung turns redder with embarrassment, his wings turns a shy pink at the elder's words. He only manages a weak, “shut up.” Before going back to hiding his face. A peaceful silence shrouds them as they lie deeply in each other's embrace. Legs tangled and hair a mess. Chests sweaty. Heaving. Hair stuck to their face due to perspiration. Taehyung's hole dripping with Jimin's wetness. Wide open after their fifth round. His back aching. Jimin's cock, throbbing. Thighs stiff from exertion. Arms swollen with the effort it took to keep Taehyung in place. It's when Taehyung is on his way into dreamland that Jimin speaks again. It's all very dreamlike. Surreal. And Taehyung wonders if he is dreaming. Then again, he's pretty sure it isn't a dream when Jimin whispers, “hey, Tae.” And Taehyung hums, “you're The One.”

He sleeps with a smile on his face. And his love in his arms.
