"Mom, I have to go now." Kris mumbled as he leaned down, his mother hugging him tightly."I know." Kris's mom released him. She looked like she wanted to say more, but she kept quiet. She knows this is his dream. His dream to travel the world.Don't go. She wanted to say."Stay safe." She added instead.Kris smiled, he knows what his mom wanted to say."I love you mom, I'll miss you." Despite telling her he had to leave, Kris bent down to hug his mother again."I love you too son. You have to go now." His mom smiled with tears in her eyes.Kris nodded and headed to check-in, turning around once more to face his mother before he left. --"Mom, I'm leaving now." Tao shouted as he pulled his luggage out of the door."Zitao! Wait!" His mother shouted back, causing Tao to turn in surprise."Here." Tao's mom placed a bracelet in his hand. "Something for you to have if you miss home." Tao looked at his mother's sad expression, seemingly saying, don't leave me.I don't want to leave you too, mom. Tao leaned in to hug his mother. "I'll call you." Tao whispered into his mother's ear.His mother broke the embrace. "Love you son." Tao smiled and replied, "I love you too mom." He turned and went to put his luggage in the waiting cab.Getting into the cab, Tao took one last look at his mother, before turning away and closing the car door, hiding his tears.
