Partnership (1/1)

After lunch, I had AP History.  Niel also happened to be in that class.  "We're going to be starting a project today," Ms. Han said, pointing him to an empty seat behind me.  "We'll be assingning partners here shortly."Niel came and took a seat, purpopsely whacking the back of my head when he pulled out his notebook.  I waited until Ms. Han was turned around then reached behind me, snatched it from him and tore out six pages from the middle.  Then, scrawling my name on all of them, I shoved them back in the front haphazardly and handed it back to him cerimoniously.He chuckled to himself.  Ms. Han turned back around, "Okay, I want everyone to come pick a name from the tub and read it out loud," she instructed, "That will be your partner."  Luna jumped up and ran up first.  She loved doing projects with partners.  She plunged her hand into the bucket and came up holding a piece of paper.  "Lee Chan Hee," she read, looking around the room.Chunji raised his hand from the back, waving it slightly to get her attention.  Luna smiled, gathered her stuff and went back to join him.  A few more people went before Ms. Han turned to Niel.  "Mr. Ahn," she smiled, "Why don't you go next."  He shrugged and trudged up to the front of the room, his hands shoved in his pockets.  He drew out a name and looked at it for a second.  "Kyung Mi," he said finally.I sighed.  Figures.  Once seated again, he leaned forward and whispered, "What time do you want me at your house?"

"My house?" I snorted.

"Yes.  I live in a dormitory with five other guys.  Your house."

I was quiet for a second, "Eleven."
