“Daddy, you’re home!” our 5 year old daughter, Yura, screamed out as she saw my husband come in our apartment door.                “Hey sweetie, how was your day?” he said as he carried our daughter to the living room and put her down on the sofa as he made his way to the kitchen, where I’m at and kissed me. “Hey dear, how was your day?” he asked me in a raspy voice that made me shiver.                “Hey, Binnie. Taking care of Yura was tiring but fun. I brought her to the mall and we went shopping for clothes and shoes,” I answered. “We also-“                “Daddy, daddy! Look at my new shoes, aren’t they cute?” our daughter said as she ran to the kitchen to show her dad.                “Wow, they suit you really well.”                “Let me show you what else I bought, come on!” __ exclaimed as she dragged Hongbin to her room. Hongbin gave me a worried look before being dragged out and I just laughed. Being with the two people I love and cherish dearly was the best part of being me. This whole thing still seems like a dream to me. Whenever I feel down, both my husband and my daughter cheer me up. All these thoughts came flooding to me as I was cooking dinner and the microwave’s bell was the only thing that snapped me back to reality.                “Guys, dinner’s ready!” I said as I called our daughter and husband.                “Yay, finally! Gosh, I’m starving. Thank you, mom!” my daughter screamed out with joy as she hugged me.                “You’re welcome, dearie. Now sit down and eat, okay?”                “Thanks for the food, babe,” Hongbin as he gave me a back hug.                “No worries, now go eat,” I replied. He sat down and we started to eat and chat about what we did today. After eating, Hongbin helped __ settle down and get ready for bed as I do the dishes. After that, Hongbin sat on the couch to watch a bit of TV. But as he saw me still doing the dishes, he walked towards the kitchen and grabbed my shoulders from the back.                “Hey babe,” he said as he started pecking on the crook of my neck whilst giving me a back hug.                “Stop, stop. It tickles!” I replied giggling as I felt his lips right beside my neck, along with his breath. “Where’s Yura?”“Asleep, like an angel,” he replied and I couldn’t help but smile. We continued being like this until I finished washing the dishes and when I did, he held my hand and brought me to the sofa to watch TV. He turned on the TV to watch his favorite show while I rested my back behind his body and read some magazines, just to relax for a while. We stayed like this for a few minutes until he broke the silence.                “You know it’s our anniversary coming up right?” he asked while stroked my head.                “Yeah. Wow, you remembered? That’s rare, you never remember stuff like this,” I replied in a sarcastic manner and I heard him scoff.                “Anyway, I got a little something from the office,” he said, making me curious.“What is it? You know I hate secrets. Tell me!”  Suddenly, he started to wriggle around and took something out of his pocket.“Here, check this out,” he said as he gave me a piece of paper. I only scanned through the paper when something caught my eye.“Dear Mr. Lee, bla bla bla, yada yada yada, A TRIP TO HAWAII FOR THREE?!” I screamed.“Shhh! You’ll wake Yura up,” he said, flashing his adorable smile.“Lee Hongbin, you better explain this. What-how?”“The office, yeah.”“You’re really amazing, you know that?” I said to him, shifting my body so that now, I’m facing him.“Yeah, I get that a lot,” he said, laughing. I scoffed as I heard this and he turned me around again so that my back is against his body. He held my hand put his other arms around my waist. “You and Yura are the love of my life. I would do anything for you ladies, so don’t worry about a thing. I love you so much, babe” he said. I couldn’t smile when I heard this.“I love you too, Binnie,” I replied. He gave me a slight peck on my lips which turned into a sweet and passionate kiss. When I pulled back, we went back to our original positions of him watching the TV as I continued to read my magazine. After a while, I started to become sleepy and went to the room to lie down. After about 10 minutes, Hongbin entered the room as well. After washing up, he joined me on the bed.“Happy anniversary baby, I love you,” he whispered in my ear as we fell asleep.
