For kissjack4 + leenaeunBig BrotherJaemin loved Key and Eunji’s daughter, Eunyeon. When Eunji had the baby, Taemin, Naeun and Jaemin were one of the first to visit them in the hospital. Jaemin had been with Eunji when she went into labor, and at the sensitive age of five, had begun crying when Eunji was in pain. Luckily, Key had gotten home in time and was able to take her to the hospital. Jaemin had a hard time being pulled away from his favourite aunt, and Key had to wait for Taemin and Naeun to arrive at the hospital to pick up Jaemin before Key could leave the little boy to go to his wife in the delivery room. Jaemin’s face was all red from crying and his voice became hoarse from crying for Eunji repeatedly. Even when he got home, only when Naeun had held him in her arms he had quietened down and was able to sleep. When he woke up, the first person he asked for was Eunji.Luckily, Key had already called Taemin and said that Eunji had delivered a healthy baby girl, and that they could visit them in the hospital. As soon as Jaemin had seen Eunji he burst through the door of the room and climbed into bed, where Eunji opened up one of her arms to hug Jaemin, while the other cradled her daughter. The first thing that Jaemin did was place his hand on her forehead, and then put his two hands on either side of her face.“Imo…are you okay now? You’re not hurting anymore?”Eunji nodded and began to stroke his hair. Jaemin finally looked at the little baby, and got on his knees to take a closer look.“Is this my baby sister, Imo?”Jaemin didn’t wait for a reply before using his index finger to touch the baby’s cheek softly.“She’s really pretty…”“Do you want to hold her?”Jaemin nodded enthusiastically. Taemin picked the boy up and then sat him on his bottom.“Buddy, you have to sit up straight, okay? And you can’t move around. You have to be really careful when you hold her.”Eunji carefully put the baby in his arms, while still supporting the baby’s neck, and Jaemin straightened up like a soldier, not moving and completely still. Naeun snapped a picture as she found it too adorable, and she felt her heart swell, letting the thoughts of another baby fill her mind.“Imo, what’s her name?”“Eunyeon. Kim Eunyeon.”Jaemin turned back to the baby.“Annyeong, Eunyeon-ie! I’m your Oppa! My name is Jaemin…”After a while, Jaemin complained of having sore arms and being hungry and Eunji finally took the baby away. Taemin and Key decided to take Jaemin to the cafeteria to pick out some food, while Naeun and Eunji stayed.“Unnie! How do you feel?”“I feel really good..and really happy…and you should be happy that you have a son like Jaemin. I hope Eunyeon will be as thoughtful as him…”“The first person he asked for was you, when he woke up…”“I love your son…”“He loves you too…sometimes, I think, more than me…”“When I told him that I was having the baby soon, he started crying. When I asked him why, he said it was because he was scared that I would forget about him. So I told him that I would never forget about him and he would be a big brother…he was really excited after that…don’t you and Taemin want another baby? You won’t have a problem with Jaemin. He’ll be a perfect older brother…”“Actually, when I saw him holding Eunyeon, that was the first thing I thought about…”“You should talk to Taemin about it…”Naeun nodded as Taemin, Key and Jaemin came back with a paper bag full of food. Jaemin stood beside Jaemin with his hands behind his back.“Imo, I have a present for Yeon-ie…”“Yeon-ie?”“Eung…that’s my nickname for her now…here…”He took out a small pink bear and put it on the bed.“Did you pick this out yourself?”“Eo. It’s to match with my teddy bear…and I have this for you, Imo…”He pulled his other hand from behind his back and gave Eunji a flower.“Thank you, Jae, Imo loves you…”“I love you too…”Naeun called out to her son.“Jaemin-ah…let’s let Imo have some rest. We’ll come back tomorrow…”Jaemin kissed Eunji on the cheek and then grabbed Naeun and Taemin’s hand, and the family went home.While they were in the car, Naeun saw that Jaemin was being very quiet.“Baby, are you okay?”He nodded, but then looked outside. When his parents tucked him into bed, Naeun pulled Taemin to sit on the couch.“What are you thinking about? You’re as quiet as Jaemin…”“Oppa…what do you think about having another baby?”Taemin looked surprised but then wrapped his arms around Naeun’s waist .“As long as it’s a baby with you, I’m happy…”Naeun playfully slapped his hands away and then turned to face him.“I’m being serious…”“I am too…another baby with you would be amazing…and Jaemin would be a great brother. He already loves Eunyeon…”“That’s what I was thinking…”-------------------------------------------------------------When Naeun casually asked Jaemin about his opinion on getting a brother or sister, she was surprised at his answer.“Jaemin-ah…what do you think about having a brother or sister?”“Yeon-ie?”“Ani. What is Omma had a baby?”Jaemin stopped eating and looked at his parents before frowning.“Shiro…”Taemin and Naeun looked at each other.“Why, buddy? I thought you liked being a big brother…like how you are with Eunyeon…”“I do…”“What’s the matter then, baby?”“I don’t want you to hurt like Imo…”Naeun finally understood and she smiled. Her son was very thoughtful.-------------------------------------------------------------That night, Naeun and Taemin had another discussion, this time, before they went to sleep.“Naeun-ah…considering what Jaemin said earlier…what do you think about adopting?”“I think it’s a really good idea…”“Really? You’re not just saying this?”“Jinjja…I know that adopting is something you want to do since you were young, and I think that we have enough love in this family to love a child, even if they’re not biologically ours…”“I knew I married you for a reason…”He swept in and gave her a kiss on the lips, before pinning her down on the bed.“Oppa…what are you doing?”He didn’t answer, he just kissed her again.-------------------------------------------------------------On the day that they went to the adoption agency, Jaemin insisted that he come. The little boy was lead over to see the play area, while his parents went inside the office to talk about the process of adoption. When they had come out to get Jaemin, they found him sitting on the floor holding a baby in his arms, while shaking a rattle with his free hand, as one of the staff members watched him. Taemin and Naeun smiled at each other.“Jaemin-ah…who’s that?”“This is Soeun…”The staff member spoke up. “The baby was crying and your son ran over to see her. He asked if he could hold her and when I gave her to him, she stopped crying.”When Taemin and Naeun looked back at Jaemin, he had put the rattle on the floor and the baby was grabbing his hand. At that moment, Taemin and Naeun knew they had found their baby. Taemin wrapped his arm around Naeun and placed a kiss on her forehead.“Buddy, we have to go now…we’ll come back again tomorrow. We just have to get some papers from home…”The staff picked up Soeun from Jaemin and before he ran over to his parents, he kissed the baby on the forehead.“I love you, Soeun-ah…Oppa will come back tomorrow…”
