Jealousy (Mincheol) (1/1)
Because jealousy doesn't care if it's your best friend, your relatives, or a stranger. You don't want anyone else touching what's yours and that's final. First thing's first, Seungcheol was certainly not the jealous type, thank you very much. He was proud of his self-control and possessive wasn't one of the words used to describe him as a person. But he had to admit he didn't like people touching his belongings, because who would? A man has got to protect his territory. To sum it up, Choi Seungcheol proclaimed that he didn't get jealous easily. Well, that was before Kim Mingyu came along. Okay, maybe Seungcheol was a bit jealous. Just a tiny bit. Like, half jealous, if that's an actual word (he insisted that it was for his pride's sake) because lately Mingyu was all over Jisoo. Literally. "It's just a phase," Jeonghan said, elbowing Seungcheol on the ribs because he was staring too hard at Jisoo and Mingyu, who were playing games together. "He finds Jisoo incredibly admirable for now, but that'll pass. People are always like that with Jisoo, you know. You can't help but develop a mini crush once you get close to him." Seungcheol knew Jeonghan's intention was anything but bad and his words were meant to calm him down, but why was he feeling anxiety creeping up when he heard the last sentence? "He's not supposed to be crushing on someone. Did he forgot that he actually has a boyfriend?" He pointed to himself. Jeonghan patted his back in hope to reassure him. While he was too busy being bitter, he didn't notice Mingyu skipping to his direction until the younger got close. "Hyung!" Mingyu said, enthusiasm lacing his voice. "Can I go to the frozen yogurt parlor across the street? It's the grand opening today and I wanna try them." His eyes immediately brightened when he heard Mingyu's request. Seeing this as a chance to spend some time together, Seungcheol answered, "Of course. Do you want me to go with you?" "No need," Seungcheol's heart fell along with his wide grin. "Joshi hyung said he'll treat me. We'll get going now. Do you want anything?" Trying his best to fake a smile, Seungcheol shook his head because he feared that once he opens his mouth he would spew endless curses at Jisoo because really? Really? Joshi hyung? You have a nickname for him? "How about you, Jeonghan hyung?" Mingyu turned to look at Jeonghan. The elder was clamping his mouth shut in an attempt to keep his laughter in. "I'll have one, please. If they have fruit flavors then I'd like the blueberry one. Don't forget the honey stars topping." Mingyu salutes, scurrying to ask the other members if they wanted something. Seungcheol, on the other hand, slumped on the table, feeling defeated. "He doesn't even have a nickname for me! Joshi? What the hell is Joshi?!" He wailed and Jeonghan wondered if someday he would be as whipped as Seungcheol. When Mingyu and Jisoo came back from the frozen yogurt parlor, the members were waiting for their arrival at the living room. One particular boy was being sulky, sitting on the far corner of the sofa and refusing to speak to anybody. The two boys were busy giving out the frozen yogurt to everybody, trying their best to figure out which frozen yogurt is whose. Unfortunately, Mingyu didn't notice the sullen glance from Seungcheol and thankfully, Jisoo didn't realize that the leader was throwing daggers at him using his eyes. If looks could kill, Jisoo would be dead by now. "Why does Seungcheol hyung looks so..." Soonyoung whispered, waiting for somebody to finish his sentence. "He has Wonwoo's emo face on him," Seokmin piped up, earning a slap from Wonwoo. "I'm not emo," Wonwoo said. "Seungcheol hyung's probably jelly because Mingyu is being clingy with Jisoo." Almost automatically after they heard Wonwoo's assumption, the members except Jisoo and Mingyu focused their attention on Seungcheol. Feeling ten pairs of eyes on him, Seungcheol craned his neck and barked in annoyance, "What?" They mumbled "nothing" and went back to face each other. "He's super irritated," Seungkwan supplied. "It's the first time I'm seeing him acting so childish that it's kinda cute." Mianghao scooped the frozen yogurt into his mouth. Their eyes darted to Mingyu and Jisoo, who sat on the floor in order to join the members, but they were too busy talking to each other and being in their own l
