Babies (1/1)
May 2002“It’s hot.” Taeyeon yawns, stretching her body in an x formation. “Really hot.” The sun was glaring quite hard for being only 10 in the morning on a Saturday. She looks to her left to see her husband lying stomach down, drooling on the bed sheets. As much as she wants to tell him how disgusting that is, her laziness washes over her. She ends up not doing anything, not even when her body is calling out for water.Jiyong groans when one of her legs kicks his back. He rolls over to see his wife tangled in a mess of white blanket and Eiffel tower imaged bed sheets. “Then get off the bed.” He scoffs, pulling more of the blanket between his legs. It has always been hard to wake him up, Saturday or not.Taeyeon snorts, kicking her husband once more. “Maybe I don’t want to.” Just to piss off Jiyong, she tugs the blanket he’s hugging all over to her side. Smiling as the soft whiteness gently falls over her warm body. Pleased, she closes her eyes again.Jiyong gasps at the sudden emptiness. His body does a 180 so that he can see the sweet look of his perpetrator. She’s lying there, all happy with just a smidge of a smirk forming on her face. Even with bed messy hair and feet stretched in crazy directions, she still looks so damn beautiful. So he gently rolls on top of her so that a slight oomph sound comes out of her mouth. Her eyes shot wide open. “What the hell, Jiyong?” She’s about to push him off her when he suddenly starts attacking her neck, planting soft, nibbling kisses. She shyly moans even after almost two years of marriage. His hands wrestle underneath her large black tee, fingers tickling the soft skin. She arches her back when his lips attach to her earlobe, while his hand fondles the mounds he’s been searching for. “Ji~” She says breathlessly, unconsciously grinding herself on his stomach. Detaching his lips from hers, he smirks, pulling her up with him. With one quick tug, her shirt goes flying off, leaving her in a black bra.“Damn.” He whispers, grabbing her hand away from covering herself. He pushes her back onto the queen sized bed, his lips moving from her lips down to her chest.RING.Taeyeon got her hands roaming his sides, inching her way into the hem of his pants.RING.Jiyong can’t control himself anymore. He nearly rips his shirt in the process of taking it off. His once nibble kisses are not vicious sucking.RING.“Ji~…the phone.” Taeyeon moans louder when her shorts are taken off.RING.“Don’t. Care.” He says between each love bite he puts on her chest.RING.“It must…be…important.” She finds the strenght to finally push him off. His body landing on the other side of the bed.RING.“Hello?” Taeyeon answers, still shirtless and pantless. Jiyong is ready to attach that juicy body once again when all of sudden Taeyeon turns her direction towards him and says in a loud voice, “UMMA! It’s nice to hear from you too. Yes, we just got up.” Though she’s smiling, her eyes are warning him not to do anything fishy.Jiyong stares anxiously at his wife. Every smile, laugh or neh got his heart racing. Then at the one moment when her smile is wider than it should be and her eye brows lift a bit higher, his heart drops. He quickly tugs on her arm so she can see him. “No!” He mouths, moving his hand in an X direction while shaking his head from right to left.Taeyeon watches in amusement. “Yes, we would love to come over.”He plops down in defeat.~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~The whole car ride Jiyong stayed silent. Of course, Taeyeon knew that Jiyong would ignore her. He was always the silent type of angry. His hand reaches for the volume knob, turning it up so that her concentration could only be on him. Years of being his best friend and putting up with his attitude flashes through her mind. Just like that one day back in June, she turns off the music and slaps his hand away when he tries to turn it up again.“Ow!” He cries, rubbing the back of his red hand.“This is my car. So I can do whatever I want.” Taeyeon says, laughing when her husband’s once open mouth closes.Jiyong pouts, turning his attention back on the road. “Look. There’s traffic.” He points to the endless amount of cars in front of them. “If only you didn’t promise my mom.” He mutters under his breath.“It’s your mom.” Taeyeon rolls her eyes and looks out her window. “Eh gross. I hate that place.” Out her window, there was an abandoned dumpsite far past the river and broken chain fence.“You said the same thing about the broken down car site at the opposite end.” Jiyong chuckles. “You must really hate abandoned places.”“No I don’t hate that one that much because at least that one has some flowers growing around it. But both places still look ugly.” Taeyeon reasons. “It’s like an eye sore. Plus it stinks.”Jiyong shakes his head at his wife. “So if I was ugly, you wouldn’t love me?” He pouts cutely.“Oh look! We’re moving faster.” Taeyeon laughs at the upset look casted on her husband’s face.~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~When they arrive, Jiyong’s mom and dad are already out there with their arms wide open. Taeyeon jumps out of the car and into their arms, while Jiyong cooly walks over.“I’m so glad to see you again, Taeyeon.” His dad smiles, ushering her into the house.Taeyeon glances back at Jiyong, who’s walking with his mom, her eyes pointed to the sign still hung on the house.“Mom. Dad. When are you guys taking down the Gtae wedding banner?” Jiyong points to the customized white sign hanging proudly on the front porch. His mouth is slightly opened and face in just complete disbelief.“I paid good money for it and if I want to keep it there, I shall! Isn’t that right, my daughter?” His father beams at the 3x7 foot laminated plastic sign. The cursive words ‘Welcome to GTae’s Precious Wedding’ shined in glitter gold with two black stick figures painted as husband and wife next to it. Then with his own hands, he drew gorgeous red and yellow flowers as its border.Looking at her father-in-law, Taeyeon giggles and shakes her head at his question. “Of course Appa! I love it too.” She gives a quick eye-smile at her husband before walking in the house with her father.Jiyong stood there amazed at how quick his own wife turns her back on him.“You know how much your father loves Taeyeon. He always wanted a baby girl?” His mother says, patting him on the back.“What about noona?”“Well one that isn’t always busy and isn’t as stubborn and sassy like him.” His mom chuckles, pushing him towards the door. Jiyong grumbled his way into his childhood home.~~~~~~~~~Taeyeon smiled at the sight before her. Jiyong, sitting on the island stool, watching his parent’s being lovey dovey. He makes some wise crack comments towards his father, who playfully reprimands him. Then his mom came to his rescue by stuffing a sliced apple in her own husband’s mouth. This, Taeyeon thinks, is what she wants to be when she grows up. She hopes that when Jiyong and her grow old, they would still act like the day they fell in love with each other.“Taeyeon, are you listening to me?”Taeyeon snaps out of daze. Her husband’s eyes are on her, giving her a strange look.“Taeyeon?” Her father-in-law asked again. He’s also giving her the same look.Embarrassed, she timidly smiles as she gets up from her seat at the dinner table to go over to her husband. “Sorry appa. I was lost in the moment.” She says, feeling more secure with Jiyong’s arms wrapped around her. Jiyong hands her a glass of water to get rid of her nervousness.“So when are you going to give me grandchildren?”Spit. Water sprayed all over the counter, some partly on her husband’s face.“Omo!” she cried, rushing to get paper towels to clean the table. Jiyong’s low snickers could be heard from across the room.“Yup, that’s Taeyeon.” He says, not even complaining about the spit on his face. She glares at him while she frantically cleans the mess. A small, fragile hand stops her. “It’s okay, dear. Don’t worry about it.” Taeyeon heart warms at Jiyong’s mother. “He just really wants a grandchild that’s all. Don’t feel so pressured.” She whispers.“You know I’m not getting any younger.” The dad says in an authoritative voice.“I know, dad. You always say that.” Jiyong rolls his eyes as he grabs for another slice of fruit.“And I mean it.” He huffs.“Well, I’m not getting any younger either. So I bid you two a farewell. Taeyeon and I must leave now.” Jiyong grabs Taeyeon’s hand and drags her to hug his parent’s goodbye. As they leave, the harsh winds blow the ‘Gtae banner’ roughly, almost threatening it to crash down.~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~This car ride Taeyeon decided to be silent. Kids. They never talked about that before. They talked about other things like bank accounts, jobs, traveling the world. But kids? No. Did she even want kids? Little bodies running around, crying, yelling, keeping her up at night. People she needs to take care of and watch over till her death. Isn’t Jiyong enough?“You know, baby.” Jiyong’s voice cuts through her thoughts. “my dad isn’t getting any younger. So I think we should get this process going.” His hand slides effortlessly up her white thighs before being captured by her hands.“You just want to get into my pants.” Taeyeon twists his fingers before tossing his injured hand back to his side.“Ow.” He whines as he intertwines their fingers. “Is that so wrong?”“Yes.” Taeyeon gives her husband a dirty but playful look. “We still have to go to Jessica’s party. It already started, and I really don’t want to hear her nag so yes let’s get this process going.”Jiyong hangs his head in defeat.Pecking her husband on the cheek, she goes back to staring at the moving scenery. “Man, I really hate that place.” Taeyeon looks away at the cloud of black smoke hovering around the area.~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~When they arrived, Jessica opened her mouth to scold them, but Seunghyun whispered something in her ears that made her run away. Jiyong and Taeyeon thank the tall man, giving him their present.“Now where is the birthday girl?” Taeyeon asks, scanning the room for the three year old.“Probably running around with some of her friends.” Seunghyun laughs.Taeyeon excuses herself from the conversation to look around for some old friends. Yuri was there with her newborn, thanking her for recommending Jessica and Tiffany for making her wedding dress. Sunny and Kibum were also present. To be honest, she was quite surprised to see they were still together. Then there was Jinki.“Taeyeon.” He walks up to her with his arms wide open, which she gladly brings herself into. “How are Jiyong and you?”“We’re doing great. How about Luna and you?”Luna, the girl Taeyeon met a couple years back at graduate school. Petite, cute and lovely girl, Taeyeon admits. But what really captured Taeyeon was the younger girl’s voice. When she sings, the whole crowd would go silent. Jinki really caught a good girl.“Oh, well.” Jinki moved to the side to point at his wife.“Again?” Taeyeon was completely shocked. “That’s going to be your third child! My goodness Jinki. I really didn’t know you had it in you.”Jinki blushes. “When are you and Jiyong going to have kids?”The topic again, Taeyeon groans in the inside.“Taeyeon!” Tiffany waves from across the room. She has never been so happy to see the feisty girl in her life.“Sorry, Tiffany is calling me.” Taeyeon gives a slight bow, running towards the end of the living to meet her best friend.“Eh gross.” Tiffany moves away from the drooling children. “Thank goodness you’re here Tae. I dread each year Jessica calls for us to come over for her daughter’s party. I mean she’s cute and everything but not cute enough that I have to be here for freaking six hours.” Tiffany downs a drink, probably some alcohol.“Doesn’t Taeyang want kids?” Taeyeon laughs, also staring at the running kids before them. “Just look at Taeyang.” Tiffany’s husband was going around carrying kids and swinging them around.“Well yeah.” Tiffany plays with her plastic cup. “I’m not that mean to completely disregard his want to have children. But I draw the line at one kid! Maybe two. Just because I want a girl like Cho Hee.” Tiffany pouts. “And what about your husband missy? Just look at him.”Taeyeon observes Jiyong as he approaches the kids. Very carefully, he would pick up the kids and hold them in his arms. His smile widening to a fatherly grin. The small children seem to all run towards him, their arms outstretched for him to hold next. Then Yuri appears out of nowhere with her baby. Jiyong excitedly asks to hold him. Being the nice person Yuri is, she gladly agrees. Very tenderly, he takes ahold of the baby. His eyes gleam when he hears the baby’s small coos.“Ah I don’t know.” Taeyeon hides her shakiness with a sip of Tiffany’s drink.“There you guys are!” Jessica shouts at her best friends. “It’s time to cut Cho Hee’s cake!”Everyone gathers around the slightly baffled girl, singing her happy birthday. Her father mischievously ends the song by smudging some cake on his daughter’s face. Jessica slaps her proud husband. The young girl frowns and somehow finds her way up to Taeyeon. She mumbles something, pointing to the mess on her nose. That is when Taeyeon feels all the party guest’s eyes on her.“Let me take care of that.” Taeyeon grabs the nearest napkin. She carefully wipes the mess off until all she can see is baby soft skin and dark brown eyes staring at her. A small childlike smile appears on Cho Hee’s face, which Taeyeon unconsciously returns back. By that one look, a weird feeling roams her body.“Come on, baby. Let’s go.” Taeyeon looks up to see Jiyong trying to lead her to the living room. Her eyes turn their way back in front of her just to see no one there. “Come on, Tae.” Jiyong tugs on her arms to where Cho Hee now sits, opening up the presents.~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~After a refreshing shower, Jiyong drops down on his nice comfy bed. Playing with kids really took a toll on his body. His joints ache and he’s still struggling to breathe from all the running he had to do. Now all he wants to do is sleep the night away.“Oh Ji~.”Jiyong tiredly turns his head towards the direction of his wife’s voice. His drowsy eyes slowly open up to see his wife clad in a lacy white night gown.“So I was thinking.” Leaning against the wall, she dips down a little lower, showing off more of her milky white thighs. “that maybe your dad was right. He isn’t getting any younger.” She winks.“Yeah.” Jiyong says, much awake, some parts of his body more than others.“Even though I imagined this moment with Kang Dongwan.” Her joke flies out of his ear.Taeyeon gasps when Jiyong sweeps her off her feet and throws her onto the bed. Hovering over her, he smirks. “I would hate to be Kang Dongwan.”“Why?” She giggles, drawing small circles on his collar bone.“Because he doesn’t have you as a wife.”Taeyeon bites her bottom lip, trying to hide the blush that’s creeping through her face. Jiyong can’t help but grin largely, hugging his wife for a bit before bringing her in for a soft kiss. “Now let’s finish what we started this morning.”They end the night with sweaty bodies mashed together, lips locked in a small kiss, and hands intertwined till the morning sun rises brightly upon their bare skin.
