"Oops.." I stared at the glass of a plate. I was trying to reach my favorite cup and then it sorta came out with it. I heard someone coming but I didn't move. Kris rushed in and stared at the broken glass."Are you wearing shoes?" He asked, scanning the floor to see how far the glass had gone. I shook my head."Don't move. I'll get your shoes." Kris left and returned with a pair of flip-flops. He gave them to me and then put on his own pair."Come on out of there. I'll clean it up." He sounded tired. Well, that was expected since you have to take care of 9 other siblings, two of which are babies. I didn't move though."Kris?" I called softly."Yeah?" He answered in the same tone. Wow, he sounded really tired."I'm sorry for making you clean up something of mine. I know you're really tired and want to rest but you can't because of us." I continued. I heard some of the others coming but I didn't care. Kris wasn't the oldest so why should he always have to take care of us?"Why do you always have to look after us by yourself? Why can't Minnie hyung or LuHan hyung help? Why does it always have to be you?" I felt the tears in my eyes. Kris hyung, by now, had sweeped up all the glass and placed it in newspaper and into the trash can. He sat on one of the chairs. He sighed and leaned his face into the palm of his right hand."Chen? What's going on? We heard something crash and hyung get up really fast." Chanyeol held Tao in his arms and XiuMin held SeHun. The rest soon crowded the doorway, hoping to find out what was wrong."Chen.." Kris's voice seemed oh so tired.I sniffled. "Yeah?" I wiped my eyes."C'mere you baby." Kris stood up and opened his arms for a hug. I walked over and hugged him tightly."I don't mind taking care of you all because you're my brothers. I love all of you. Even when you do silly things. I may not be the oldest but MAMA has trusted me enough to be in charge of you all while she's gone. XiuMin and LuHan may be the eldest but she doesn't trust them as much but they are also still in charge okay?" He rubbed my back and smoothed my hair."But you're always tired. We don't want you to get sick and die." Kai walked over and wedged himself between me and Hyung and hugged him. Kris laughed and hugged back."I'm not gonna die just because I'm a little tired. I might get sick but that's not a problem." He ruffled his hair."Hyung?" Kyungsoo appeared on the other side of him with a card in his hand. Kris looked down a bit and smiled."Yes Kyungsoo?" He sat down and was just about eye level with him. Kyungsoo thrust the card at him and then ran behind LuHan. He held onto Kyungsoo as Kris opened the card. It had all of our names written on it and messages to him. Even little Tao and SeHun got someone to write something for them.Soon everyone was crowded around Hyung."See Hyung? Wee care about you too. We don't want you to get sick because if oyu get sick, XiuMin hyung and LuHan hyung are gonna have to take care of us and they're not gonna be any fun." Kyungsoo stated with big, innocent eyes."Hey!" Xiuin and LuHan turned to Kyungsoo, who hid behind Chanyeol this time.Kris smiled at all of us."Chen?" Kris called my name. I looked up from my forgotten cup and at him."You want me to make something for you?" Kris had the card holding in one hand and a smile on his face."No! You're too tired! You should rest! You don't have to!" I shook my head wildly. I didn't want him to fo anything to tire himself out more."Have any of you had lunch yet?" He turned to the others. They all sjook their heads and copycats Tao and SeHun mimmicked them.He turned back to me."Wanna help me make lunch Chen? It would be less work and you know how to mak alot of easy foods.So you wanna help?" He smiled at me. I smiled back eventually and nodded."I wanna help too!" Kyungsoo jumped up and down. Baekhyun jumped too.Kris laughed. "Okay you can all help. But 4 people are gonna have to look after SeHun and Tao." he replied. Chanyeol, LuHan, SuHo and Yixing agreed to look after the other 2. We had the awesomest lunch ever. But then, it became night and MAMA wasn't back yet."Alright everyone, in my room now. I don't like the idea of you all being out here with the lights on and then someone breaks in." Kris hyung made everyone go into his room and then he turned off the lights and locked the door. He also closed the curains so no one could see inside.

Up in his room was noisy. When he came up, it got quiet."Now it's almost time for these two kids to get to bed and then it's Kai, Baekhyun, Chanyeol and Kyungsoo at 9 and then Yixing and Chen and then SuHo, LuHan and XiuMin. I'll stay up till MAMA comes home."We all agreed but when everyone had gone to bed, I went back out to Kris Hyung in the kitchen. I put my blanket over my shoulder and my book under my arm. I stood in the doorway of the kitchen. Kris was resting with his head on the table, cradled by his arms. I quietly walked over and placed the blanket over his shoulders. He jumped up and looked back at me."What's wrong Chen? Want something to drink?" He asked yawning. I shook my head and sat in the chair next to him."Sleep." I said."I'll wait up until MAMA get's back.""No. I'll do it. You go and get some sleep." He tried to persuade me but I didn't move. I pulled my legs up and cradled the book between my stomach and legs and opened to my last page."You are one stubborn little boy." He replied but srill put his head back on the table, slightly adjusting the blanket."Goodnight Hyung. I love you." I whispered."Goodnight Chen. I love you too."Soon he was asleep and my eyes were strting to close. Just then I heard the door unlock. It opened and a figure with lots of bags stepped through."MAMA?" I called softly, not wanting to wake up Kris."Chen baby? You're still up?" My MAMA's voice was soft."Where's Kris?" She shut the door but it was loud and Kris woke up."Hm? MAMA?" He looked up."Kris? Were you asleep?" She walked into the kitchen and placed the bags on the floor."I told him to sleep and that I would wait up for you because he was really tired today." I said quickly, hoping that she wouldn't be mad at him."Are you mad?" Kris asked sadly."I'm not mad at you for letting him stay up. I'm mad at you because you didn't tell me you were tired. If I knew, I would have sent you by Grandma to get some rest. Which is, in fact, what I plan to do tomorrow." MAMA smiled sadly."NO!" I clung to Kris. "Don't take him away! Please MAMA! Don't take away Kris Hyung!" I cried."Okay..relax CHen, relax. I'm not going anywhere far." He rubbed my back again. I felt more tears coming."Where are you going?" a small voice asked.
