001. Fashion Show.

( 1,960~ words / rated Green ) Sungyeol squeezes his eyes, suddenly blind of the lights, colorful and vivid, that have started to spread all over the open, large place packed of people. This is the start of his career as one of Woolim models – one of the greatest modeling companies of South Korea. Sungyeol has utterly gorgeous features and the way he walks on the catwalk with these sinuous movements of his, immediately earns a lot of attention and cheering screams.

The lights are doubled the moment Sungyeol confidently walks till the edge of the long catwalk and makes a pose – something that doesn't pass unnoticed by the people that are now watching him with amazement from their spots.

Sungyeol turns around with a satisfied smile, towards the backstage. “You did great,” Nam Woohyun, his senior and another model waiting for his turn, gives him a supportive pat on the back. Then he disappears in a rush up to the catwalk before Sungyeol can even thank him. “Fantastic! I'm really proud of you, Yeollie!” Sungyeol flinches when a make up brush reaches his face, covering it with powder. He abruptly shakes the hand off and when he looks to his side his reliable make up man, Kim Sunggyu, is flashing him one of his huge smiles. He's definitely proud of me, Sungyeol thinks. “Hyung, stop it! You're over-reacting,” the model cries out but Sunggyu keeps dabbing his poor face with the powder. “No, you stop. I don't need your complaining, this is my work,” Sunggyu says. “And oh, you need some eyeliner too.” Sungyeol groans, “Okay. But before that, let me go to the bathroom.” Sunggyu stops for a while. Then he shows a grin and gently combs Sungyeol's hair with his fingers. “What are you doing now?” Sungyeol asks in a hurry, tapping Sunggyu's forearm awkwardly. “Why? Can't I show my affection to my favorite Yeollie?” “Ah, really. Let me go before it's my turn again.” Sungyeol says. Sunggyu nods quickly, heading towards his cosmetic bag in search of an eyeliner. Sungyeol might be an hard headed and grumpy and loud boy sometimes, so Sunggyu decides to let him instead of being a victim of the younger 's rage. “Just don't wet your face. Hyung didn't use waterproof make up!” He struggles to say these words to let Sungyeol hear him but when he turns around, much to his dismay, the young boy isn't there anymore.  *  Ready to go back to his room from the oh-so-far toilet he's just used, Sungyeol starts to mumble tiny curses under his breath. Sunggyu hasn't used waterproof cosmetics and now he's forced to pay the arduous consequence by accepting , what will be, Sunggyu's future, infinite reprimands – life isn't fair anymore. “I don't think I'll resist his nagging this time,” Sungyeol says in a low voice. That's when someone suddenly crashes on him. Sungyeol lands on his butt, rubbing it in pain the next second he gets up. He's about to yell at whoever did this to him, when he finds them speaking even before he can open his lips. “Oh my God, sorry, ” a mainly voice says. Sungyeol looks up at the blond, supposedly foreigner boy with a slightly confused expression and head turning everywhere. It has been a while sincehe's started to meet a lot of weird people and he doesn't find it amusing at all. Especially if they happen to appear at the wrong, really wrong time. “What are you doing?” The boy instantly turns his attention to Sungyeol, raising his arms in exasperation, “I'm looking for SongJuang-ssi, do you know where-” “There's no SongJuang here.” Sungyeol abruptly cut the boy off. He isn't the grumpy type who's used to quarrel with whoever is him or her but hell, he needs to get back to his room before his turn arrives or else Sunggyu will kill him. Oh, that old man would dare to. “Excuse me?”, the blond says with a surprised expression. Sungyeol wonders if he has acted too roughly so he kind of tries to fix this little mistake of his. “I – I'm sorry. I meant, I don't know anyone with that name here,” Sungyeol stops for a second to give a last, apologizing glance to the stranger. “I'm really sorry, I need to go.” He gives the blond a perfect ninety degrees bow before turning his heels to his room's direction. He has already wasted a lot of time and that's not a good thing. Meanwhile, the blond boy has started to walk to the opposite way, scratching his head. “If my customer's name isn't SongJuang, then what the heck is it?!”  *  “So, you want me to kill him?” The good-looking boy asks, flipping his target's photograph in his hand with a tiny air of disinterest. “Uhm, throw him away. That should be enough,” another boy – a pretty-faced one – says instead. The previous boy slightly peeks an eye from his black, long sided bangs to get a better view of the picture. “Lee Sungyeol, huh?” He mutters with a raised brow. There's a heavy sigh coming from the pretty boy. “I'm looking forward for it, dude. I know I can trust you,” he glares at the other who doesn't stop scanning the piece of paper now a bit crumpled, hanging in his palm. “Don't ruin my expectations.” A smirk appears on the dark haired boy's face, “Why should I?” He carefully puts the picture in his pocket. "Who knows," the other boy shrugs, walking around the edges of the carpet on the floor. "Maybe if you fall in love with him – right L?" In that exact moment, the door slams open and a blond guy enters the room with feet stomping on the marble floor loudly. The other two looks at him with raised brows. “Oi! L! You left me behind and now you dare to accept the work yourself?!”, his face becomes red from anger. He points an accusatory index finger to the handsome boy with jet black hair who simply ignores him by turning his head to another side. “Jang Dongwoo, I'm the one who always works between us two. And I'm sorry if I happened to arrive before you and know about the work before you – Jang Dongwoo.” “Hey!”, the blond boy complains. “Didn't you say I was the boss? That means I'm the one who should get the work! Not you!” L glares at him, tapping his heels on the table his feet are on, “Did Jang Dongwoo ever do anything right before?” Dongwoo looks at him, expressionless. “Shut up! At least I work! And why are you remarking my name every time? Do you think I'm stupid or what?” L just seems to ignore him again. “Okay, this time you're going to help me, prepare yourself right now.” “What the – I'm the boss here! Shut up, L!”, Dongwoo is trying hard to keep himself from screaming louder than he already does. L wouldn't like it, Dongwoo thinks while crossing his arms tightly on his chest. “I'm the boss, okay?”, he repeats three exact seconds later. L smirks, clasping his hands. "I don't know what you two are talking about," the forgotten pretty boy says from a far corner of the room, interrupting the other two and getting their attention. "But this is urgent and there's not much time left before Sungyeol turn arrives. We, no, you should also hurry up and make a plan. I don't know, something will come, right?" Dongwoo turns his head to L, giving him a confused expression. "I'll explain you later, let's go now," L says, standing up from the sofa. Dongwoo follows him quietly but before they can surpass the doorway, he stops to look at the short, pretty boy eyeing them. "Uh – SongJuang-sshi? We'll be sure to complete the mission, thank you for choosing us," Dongwoo smiles and the boy returns it while waving a hand. "My name isn't SongJuang," he states calmly. "But it's okay, I hope you and L will do a good work. Now I'll go completing my own plan, good luck boys!"  *  "Oh my, I'm going to faint," Sunggyu grabs Sungyeol face with both hands, trapping it and receiving weird looks from the young model who has now a completely messy face. Messy as he has a completely bare face and there's not much time left before it's his turn to perform. "Why didn't you listen to me?!" "I didn't hear you," Sungyeol mutters. "And there's still time, just hurry up, will you?" Sunggyu sighs, dragging Sungyeol in front of the nearest mirror and grabbing his make up bag quickly. He takes a tube of foundation first and starts to put it on Sungyeol's face with a brush; hands moving professionally. Then he grabs an eyeliner and traces a perfect black line on the lid and he doesn't notice how his face looks so odd at the moment until Woohyun interrupts him suddenly with a round of laugh. "You don't have to put that much of make up on Sungyeol's face," Woohyun says, dropping the magazine he's reading on his lap. "And your face is pretty amazing too." Sunggyu widens his eyes. "Are you crazy?" "Nope, you put a lot of foundation though," Woohyun smiles and Sunggyu simply grimaces. "I'm the one who's working here," Sunggyu glares at Woohyun. "And I'm doing it because Yeollie needs to appear perfect on magazines! Don't understimate my talents, dude." Woohyun grins at the older man. "It will be whiter than this in the pictures with the flashes." Sunggyu stays silent, realizing Woohyun has a point afterall. However, he still can't accept this loss just because of some random pretty boy messing with him. He continues putting the eyeliner on Sungyeol and after a minute of silent, Woohyun suddenly makes a loud noise with his chair as he stands up. Sunggyu glares at him again for interrupting his moment of seriousness. "Oi!" Sunggyu yells. "Don't you think you're cool just because you won over Kim Sunggyu!" Woohyun looks at him for a second, then he bursts out laughing while dragging his feet where Sungyeol and Sunggyu are. He looks pretty amused, Sunggyu comments in his head. "Look at what you've done," Woohyun sticks out his tongue, motioning the man to look at Sungyeol in the mirror with his chin. Sunggyu gasps, dropping the pencil in his hands. "What is this?!" Sungyeol cries out, poking his completely white cheeks. "I won't look good if you two don't stop bickering!" "I'm sorry, I'm sorry!" Sunggyu says quickly, dabbing Sungyeol's face with cotton and make up cleanser. Woohyun just laughs behind them. The door opens and a young lady with a shoulder bag enters the room, bowing when she has taken a glance of Sunggyu. Sunggyu frowns. "Sungjong-ssi is looking for you," she says. Woohyun looks at her with raised brows. "What does he wants?" "Make Up," the woman says simply. Sunggyu shrugs at her, "but I'm busy right now." "Hyung, just go. I don't want to be molested by Sungjong another time. That little brat is seriously the scariest thing I've ever seen in my entire life," Sungyeol says and Woohyun laughs, tapping his shoulders. "O-okay," Sunggyu still sounds uncertain but Sungyeol's reassuring smile manages to lift him up, even if just a bit. He looks at the lady then, "at least can you help him with his face?" The woman nods, raising the bag on her side that seems to be a make up kit. "Leave it to me." -------- A/N: OMG, confettis. I managed to finish it, I can't believe it. Okay so, fanfictions' introductions are my weak point so the first part might not be that great. (I'm not satisfied about the whole thing, tbh) but if I decided to re-write again I wouldn't finish this until weekend or something ;u; So thank me, hahaha~ This is long 1,960~ and the real one had 750~ words, what did I do. By the way, suscribers said they liked the past two chapters but as you can see, Chapter One hasn''t changed (and so Chapter 2 will be), I just added something new here and there! (I still don't know how this turned this long though, sobs.) The plot is practically the same x) Is this okay? Kowfaung really has a great imagination, I love the whole story she's planned. You'll wait for that, loves! And uuhm, this isn't really beta-ed. If you find errors, tell us, okay? Don't forget to subscribe, and comments are loved ♥.
