[Namjoo's P.O.V]I must have been crazy for siding with him,  but if both of our clanmates were in danger, we didn't really have much of a choice, did we? Anyways, I teleported him to the outskirts of the city, a few meters inside of the forest, so people wouldn't be suspicious of two strangers casually appearing next to them. Yeah, us vampires have some problems with staying on the downlow.We were about to step another foot, when suddenly Sungjong stopped next to me. I wonder what happened? Did he see a vision? But before I could ask, he said mumbled something."Move."I stood there, stunned. Move where? To the left? Right? Front, back? Geez, this guy needed to specify. As I was about to argue and open my big mouth again, he pulled me towards his direction and I could hear a slight whoosh passing by my ear."A spirit." He muttered and looked back into the main pathway. No other attacks came, which was a relief, but I just realized something.I was up against Lee Sungjong's chest. His heartbeat clearly ringing through my ears.I wondered if mine was as steady as his."A-Ah! Uh. Sorry about that, I didn't react fast enough."He waved his hand away and started walking to the city, his hands in his jacket pockets, implying for me to follow behind him.-[Narrator's P.O.V]She saw him showing the true extent of his power in a vision.He was going to show them what a vampire was, but she had to stop him. Yookyung couldn’t leak their own secret. "Ah, Yeollie, there you are!" She smiled, grabbing his arm quite tightly, causing him to falter a bit. His expression showed confusion. A lot of it. "I was starting to think that you had forgotten to pick me up!"The boys stared at her then Sungyeol and gave each other strange looks. Sungyeol gave them death glares and took a step closer, until they scurried off and ran away. Yookyung sighed in relief and placed her free hand on her chest. "Yeollie?"She looked up at the older vampire who had a grin plastered on his face. He was snickering! What nerve."I can’t believe that worked." She sighed again in relief, disregarding his mockery. "I never thought they’d leave me alone."He laughed and scratched the back of his head, not bothering to tell Yookyung to stop holding his arm. After being so caught up in the whole act with mortals, Yookyung had forgotten to release her grip. To be honest, he actually enjoyed it. She was gently yet affirmative. Her sweet scent wafted to his nose and calmed his nerves. "The rest of our clans must be worrying. Maybe we should go back?"She nodded, following suit, this time, his hand made his way to find hers and they walked together, blushing. -[Naeun's P.O.V]I’m not allowed to be with him. She’s going to come after me again, I know it. But why is it that I still want to be next to him? Why do I still want to have feelings?My mind tells me to throw him away, to be selfish, but my heart won’t give up on him. What can I do?He even came to visit me in the apothecary, but I feigned sickness so he wouldn’t be allowed in. My heart feels as if it’s going to burst, but I know she’ll be aware of our interactions. If she doesn’t go after me again, then what if she goes after my family? My clan?"Naeun-sshi, there's a visitor for you.""I swear, if it's Bomi unnie again, please don't let her in--"I tried to be good natured about this, but when the door opened, I knew it was him immediately. Curse myself for not using my powers."How are you doing?" He started, walking closer to my bed. I looked away instantly. If I looked, I would fall for him again, and that is a big no no. A big, big, big no no."Fine. They said I'd be okay with some rest."He sighed, sitting at the foot of her bed. I felt horrible, I just wanted to reach out and hug him and reassure him that I'm doing this to protect my clan and possibly him."Are you avoiding me because you no longer like me? If that's the case, then I'm totally okay with it."What? I stared in shock at him, my mouth open slightly. Even if he didn't have mind reading powers, he still managed to take my thoughts and use it against me. How the hell was I going to respond to that? More so, what would he say if I told him all of this? Ugh this is so frustrating! Why can't I just end up with the guy I thought was cute?"..I'm sorry." I murmured, placing my hand on his shoulder gently."It's for the sake of my clan's protection. There's someone after us. I can't speak to you directly or have contact. I'm sorry Myungsoo."And then what he did surprised me the most.He stood up and turned his head, flashing me the most gorgeous smile I had ever seen in my entire life. He walked towards the side of my bed and stared into my eyes."I'll protect you, don't worry."Then he took my chin and kissed my lips, before leaving the room.look who's back
