Blood Bending (1/2)

[Narrator's P.O.V]By the forest.. A voice whispered in Chorong's dream.

She turned to the other side, hoping for the voice to go away.

By the forest.. She sat up in her bed and threw her covers off.

Curious about the voice, Chorong decided to check out what was by the forest. When she did, two figures were already standing there.

"Chorong?" Sunggyu squinted.

"What are you two doing here?" Chorong asked, slightly cautious.

"What are we doing here? What are you doing here?" Sunggyu's eyebrows creased.

"A voice told me to come here.." She trailed off.

"Right you were, young lady," A voice called out from the trees. The body of it turned out to be an old woman.

"Who are you?" Woohyun jumped back.

"I am Hamma," She replied.

"What are you doing here?" Chorong said, defensively.

"I am here, young child, to teach you how to make your water power even stronger."

Chorong stood up in a normal position.

"Stronger? How?" She asked.

"The final form of elemental power." She grinned quite evilly.

"Blood bending,"

Chorong recoiled back, "Uh.. I'm not sure I want to learn this.."

"Years ago, the Japanese clans took me and many other elementals hostage, for our great water skills. They wanted to wipe out all the water power vampires, or benders as they called them." She said bitterly.

"They kept me in a cage, gave me only enough food and water to keep me alive and kept be above ground, with no water around. Weeks, months, and years, passed. But only for me to learn something very simple: Everything has life. Every living being had water inside them."

Chorong didnt like how this was going.

"I first started with rats in the cages, until I was finally ready to move onto something bigger: humans."

"I controlled the guards, took the key, and escaped, using the technique of blood bending,"

"And I have been trying to find those wretched Japanese officials who forced this upon me and my brothers and sisters, but my time is growing short. I must have someone to be my legacy,"

"But why me? There are tons of others," Chorong asked.

"I have been observing your powers for many days. You have a strong mindset and determination," She explained.

"I'm sorry, but no." Chorong turned to leave, but Hamma twisted her hand and Chorong fell to the ground, gasping in pain.
