[Eunji's P.O.V] My father called me over to Chorong's father's mansion, home of the vampire council.*Something is definitely up.* I said as I walked into my father's office."Hello?" I said as I stuck my head in the room."Oh, Eunji-ah, come." My mother said as she waved me over."Eunji-ah, can we talk?"  My father said as he sat across from me."Is there something wrong?" I said frantically."No, nothing is wrong." My father said. "Just listen to us for now."I gulped."Eunji.. We were thinking.. You're 19 and you need to get married soon.." My mother started. I didn't like where this conversation was going."So we decided to arrange a marriage." My father finished."WHAT?!?!" I said, my eyes wideneing. "No way. No. I refuse. ""Eunji. It's already been planned." My mother said with the 'don't-argue-back' tone.I was desperately thinking of a deal that I could make with my parents."If I can find someone by the end of this year, can I please not get an arranged marriage?" I begged. My father thought about it."Let me talk to Chorong's father." He said."Wait, what does this have to do with Chorong's father?" I asked."He wants all of you girls to get married as soon as possible." My mother said."Can I at least know who it is with?" I pleaded."Wooyoung. Jang Wooyoug, one of the vampire councils to be." My father said.My eyes widened. *THAT JERK?!* I thought  as I ran out of the door.---------------[Chorong's P.O.V]I went to my father's mansion, in search of Eunji."Umma, have you seen Eunji?" I asked my mother, who was in the library."Check her father's study." My mother said as a book plopped into her hands from the very top of the bookshelf.  "Thank you." I said quickly."And if you see him, can you give him this book? He was looking for it." My mother said as she handed me the book."Sure." I said and ran out to Eunji's father's study. When I was walking towards the study, I dropped the book. As I bent down to pick it up, another hand grabbed onto the book and I almost shot the person with a blast of water. I looked up to see who it was and I saw Infinite's leader's face right in front of mine. I quickly pulled the book and walked away.*What is he doing here?* I thought as I raised an eyebrow."I need to talk to Lee Sungmin." He said, and I turned around.*Oh right, he has mind reading powers.* I remembered."We're not supposed to be talking." I said bluntly and continued walking."Honestly? I find our whole history and the whole treaty thing stupid." He said, I stopped and thought about it, but then waved it off. I continued walking until I reached Eunji's father's study. As I was about to knock on the door I heard a familiar voice."Eunji can we talk?" I did what I normally wouldn't do---Eavesdrop.I pressed my head against the door and the sound became muffled. Sunggyu came up behind me."Hey what's wr-" He started."SHH!" I hissed. He stared at me in shock then looked at me eavesdropping. *Theres a much simpler way* He thought and I saw him concentrating."...arranged marriage.."  I heard faintly and my heart sank.*Arranged.. Marriage?* I whispered in my head. *No, not Eunji..*I looked over at Sunggyu. He was still concentrating hard, but then his face turned into pain."Are you okay?" I asked as I walked closer to him."Does it look like I'm alright?" He said painfully as he held his head. I took the water out of the flower vase and pressed it gently against his forehead. His forehead relaxed."Thanks." He said simply. I nodded. Just then the doors burst open and I jumped."Unnie.." Eunji sobbed."Eunji-ah.. What's wrong?" I said as I hugged her."Arr-arranged marriage.." She tried holding her tears in, the buired her face into my shoulder."With who?" I whispered softly. "J-Jang.. Woo-Woo-Wooyoung." She sniffled."Eunji-ah, it'll be fine." I reassured. "Come on let's go back." I led her towards the entreance of the mansion."Lee Sungmin's office is on the 4th floor, 5th door on the left." I said to Sunggyu as I left with Eunji. He nodded in thanks and walked away.--------------------[Sunggyu's P.O.V] As I concentrated on the voices inside the door, I heard things like."Arranged marriage." and "Vampire Council to be." and a lot of crying. I could've gotten deeper into their thoughts, but the thought of an arranged marriage made me mad.*But I can't let her know that.. * I thought, so I pretended that I got a headache (which wasn't entirely a lie). She took water from the nearest vase and put it on my head and it felt really soothing.
