Hunger (1/1)
(DOUBLE UPDATE!!! (CH 4&5) Year 2016 “So...X equals to 44 and Y equals to?....... Yoori?.... Yoori?” Mrs Goo called out my name when she noticed I dozed off in the middle of the class. “S-Sorry... It’s 36...Y equals to 36...” I answered her. “Good...” She continued writing the formula on the board as I returned dazing outside the class window. I still remember the first time I came to school to register myself in here...It wasn’t easy... I had to compel half of the school board to allow myself in the school system including the headmaster, because unlike other students, I didn’t own any birth certificates or any Identification card. So that was my life... Compelling everyone just to get myself away from any trouble or suspicion. When the school bell rang, I went out of the class, heading to the restroom to get a face wash. “Hey...You’re okay?” Jimin went to my side quickly. “You’re kinda ‘off’ in class just now...” “Yeah...I’m okay...Just feeling a little tired...I didn’t get enough sleep last night.” I said to him as we took a turn at the corner of the hallway. “Owh...That’s too bad...” He said, shyly smiled while rubbing the back of his neck with his hand. I love it whenever he did that. “What is it, Jimin?” I stopped and turned my body toward him. “I took a day off from my part time job today... I was... going to ask you to go to the movie... with me after school...” He said nervously. My lips curled into a wide smile... “B-But it’s cool if you don’t want to!... I’ll just go with Taehyu-“ “I would love to...” I said to him, cut him before he could finish his sentence. “I thought you’re tired? It’s okay! We can always go next time.” He started to blab uncontrolled. “No... Let’s go today...I want to.” I assured him. “A-Alright...Great!...” He smiled so chirpily at me. “...Besides...” I took a step closer to him “After the movie...You can drop by at my house... I heard you had trouble with History... I can help you with it.” His smile dropped and I could hear the fast beating sound of his heart perfectly. I smirked to his reaction. “Y-Y-Yeah...That would be great.” So right after school, we went straight to the movie. “So what movie should we watch?” I asked as my eyes glued on the big screen that shows list of movies. He didn’t answer my question so I turned my head to look at him. “Oh! Sorry...Any movie is fine...” He said while his eyes getting restless, looking around us. “Okay...I’m in a mood for horror.” I said. “Alright...T-That sound fun.” He said and I frowned at him considered I know he hates horror movies. “Are you okay?” “Y-Yeah...... It’s just.... People are staring at you.” He said. I did notice a group of boys staring at me as soon we walked heading to the queue line but like always, I would just ignore their stares and all of their sick whispers about what would they do to my body. I never thought it would bother Jimin... “Are you jealous?” I asked while my hand sneakily slides around his waist. “Of course I am...” He said, pouting a little, causing me to smirk at him. “How about we just go to my place and watch some of my DVDs?” I asked. He quickly turned his head toward me. “How come you don’t have a single photo in your house?” He asked as he wandered around the living room. “I told you... Everything burned in the fire...” I said. “Oh! Right...I-I’m sorry.” He immediately took a seat on the couch, flustered by his question. “You don’t have to be sorry...It’s been years since my family died in the fire...” I told him. “You must be lonely living in this mansion...” I’ve been telling Jimin that I lost my family 10 years ago because there was a huge fire in our previous home... I had to lie to him and I wasn’t proud to do that. I slammed myself next to hi
