GDragon had violated Hyuna right in front of Bang Yong Guk. Tied helplessly to a chair, all he could do was scream and shout. He couldn’t save her this time. All of this was his fault. He couldn’t protect her now.

Guk had yelled every word in the book, tipping his chair anxiously forward, just trying to get to GD. He didn’t know what he’d do when he got there but he needed to be by Hyuna’s side. The feeling of anger. Hatred. Perhaps the strongest emotion known to the body. It raged inside of him now.GDragon had looked over his shoulder and stared at Guk after he’d kissed Hyuna. Guk stared back. Defiance in his eyes. Trying to tear GDragon’s heart out of his chest with only his stare. GD smirked at him, obviously enjoying the situation far too much. Then he quickly untied Hyuna. Guk’s eyes widened as he wrestled her towards the door. She had hit him straight across the face with good force. And then she was with him again. Her arms wrapped around his head, their lips together. He kissed her hungrily, trying to hold her lips to him so that GDragon couldn’t pull them away ever again. It was no use. GD yanked her off of him and took her from the room, leaving the door open. The door open! Guk had tried to scoot his chair to the entrance. He had to follow! They had turned right, not left towards the staircase. Where was GDragon taking her?And then it started. Her terrifying screams. Her shouts. She was yelling at GD, saying things like “don’t touch me” and “get off of me.” She had cried out Guk’s name.“Hey!” Guk shouted back. “You leave her alone! Don’t you dare touch her! By God, GDragon I will end you!”He moved his chair as quickly as he could but it was getting him nowhere. Her shouts continued on for minutes. Her cries. He could hear scuffling in the next room. His heart sank to the bottom of his stomach and tears were building behind his eyes like a dam.He cried out desperately. Voice shaking. But for nothing. He could do nothing. Then the yelling had started to die out until there was none. Nothing. Silence. What had happened? Where was she? Was she okay? Where was GD?

Guk sat in silence and strained his ears. He closed his eyes to concentrate on listening. He stopped moving his chair. Nothing. Silence. And then, the sound of a door opening and closing, followed by a slight clinking sound and footsteps. GDragon walked back into Guk’s room. He was looking down, looping his belt around his jeans. Pulling up his zipper. Buttoning the button.Shock. Horror. Fright. Terror. Anger. Hatred. Sadness. Overwhelmed, Guk stared ahead with wide eyes.GDragon finished and shook his head before looking up.“Tsk tsk tsk.” He clicked. “I thought you would have found someone better, Guk.” He said.BYG stared on.GD leaned on the door with his arms folded.“All of your trouble for a girl like her. Had some fight in her. Not much. Gave up easily enough. She was no fun after that. It went fast. But I’m not even close to being finished.” GD’s eyes were hard. Stone.“Nooo!!!” Guk cried out and bent over as his lungs emptied. What GDragon had done. Unforgiveable. Unbearable.“This is because of you.” GD continued in a monotone voice.“NO!” Guk screamed out more.GDragon continued anyways. “Don’t even think I’m finished here, Guk! I’ll get everything I’ve worked for… and then more.” He tugs his pants up more and turns, shutting the door behind him.Yong Guk broke down. He wailed and cried out. He shouted and cursed, but he mainly screamed with unintelligible notes. His voice began to break. His throat felt like it was bleeding from the inside. He felt like his eyes would rip as his tears broke free and ran down his face. He cried in desperation. He could hear nothing over his own wailing. He let it out. His rage. His sadness. His guilt. He screamed it all out at the top of his lungs until he had no more voice. And then he was silent. Bent over in his chair and was quiet. His breathing heaved as his head drooped. And he gave up.~♥~Guk sat in silence. Not sleeping. He just sat and breathed… barely. At first he had stared down at the ground, but later his eyes had shut and he sulked in his own darkness. He heard the door open but refused to look up or even move. The door opened slowly and tentatively.Words. Someone was speaking. But he would not listen to him. BYG  would not hear GDragon’s voice again unless it was his yells for mercy as Guk strangled the life out of him.Hands rested on both of Guk’s shoulders and forced him to sit back. He slumped over the back of the chair, his head hanging back.A tray of some sort is placed onto his lap. Then hands grab his face and bring his head down straight. More words. Eager. The hands shake him slightly and his eyes open slowly. It takes him a while to process what he sees.DaeHyun!! DaeHyun was still here! Was this a good thing??“Wha…” Guk begins but his throat is on fire.“Shh!!” DaeHyun interrupts him. DaeHyun’s eyes are wide in fear. “I don’t have long. They’re counting the seconds I’m gone. Listen, the others are gone. I think they’ve left. Only Big Bang is here now. They say that the rest of BAP is out on mission. I didn’t believe them but they said you’d returned and were being held for questioning. So I asked to come see you. Like I said, I don’t have long. They’re pretty angry. There’s only one way out from down here and that’s up those steps. You can’t go. They’re all there. Talking. Plotting about you and the girl. Now listen carefully, BYG. Eat and get out. You can’t run away. And you can’t hide. But you can be with her for a moment. She’s still alive… I think. Go to her. Stay there and wait. Just hold on and wait. I’ll figure this out.”He talks fast and urgently. Guk stares at him unintelligently.  “BYG do you understand me?!” DaeHyun asks as he shakes Guk’s head again.BYG’s eyebrows raise and then close. His mouth opens.“BYG! Tell me you’ve heard what I’ve told you!” DaeHyun shrieks in a rushed whisper.BYG nods slightly. All of a sudden a piece of bread is pushed to his mouth. Some type of small roll. Then the whole thing is stuffed into his mouth. Guk gags and tries to spit.“Eat and get out!” DaeHyun says quickly as he shoves the bread in and shuts Guk’s mouth. He holds onto BYG’s shoulders and looks him in the eyes. BYG stares back, his mouth still full the hard bread hanging half in and half out.DaeHyun nods and hurries out of the room. The door shuts behind him.Guk sits in silence. The bread takes up his mouth. He coughs without dropping it. He starts to shift it around in his mouth when he tastes something strange. Something hard. He chews around it and spits out the other pieces of bread. Definitely hard. It has a metallic taste. He moves it around in his mouth and separates it from the food before spitting the rest out. He plays it around his tongue and then sticks it partway out of his mouth as he tries to look at it.A key! A black key! It was hidden in the bread. But what does it go to? The cuffs on his hands or the lock on the door? Can it do both? He studies the door. Is there a lock on it? Everyone seemed to have just opened and closed it all the time. That could be part of the reason that Guk was cuffed to his chair and the guys were staked out upstairs. These doors had no locks!Guk suddenly becomes awake and sits up. He twists his head over his shoulder to try to look at his hands. If he could drop the key into his hands then he could unlock himself. He carefully spits the key over his shoulder. It bounces off his knuckles and clambers to the floor. Damnit! He stares at it on the ground for a moment. Then he begins to rock his chair back and forth. The chair tips and he slams to the ground with a thud. He lies still and looks down towards the door. Had anyone heard? Where did DaeHyun go?The coast seems clear and he uses his legs to push himself back. His fingers feel around the floor for the key. Finally he feels it and quickly turns it around in his hands to try to fit it into the lock. It takes him a while but he manages to insert the key and twist it.*Clink!* The cuffs become loose and he smiles wildly as he yanks his hands free from the chair bars. He rolls to his stomach and then sits back onto his legs. He stares down at the chair and rubs his wrists. He quickly looks over his shoulder to see that no one has come for him yet. He reaches over and snatches the key up before pushing himself to his feet. He feels wobbly and runs into the far wall so he can steady himself. He pushes away from the wall and staggers towards the door, tripping over the fallen chair. He puts his hand tentatively on the door latch and tries it. It moves! He smiles again as he quietly pushes the door open. He looks to the left first to see that the basement is empty. The door at the top of the steps is shut. Then he turns to the right. One door. The door next to his is shut as well. It’s quiet. He gulps as he moves to the door. He puts his ear up against the cold metal. Nothing. He can’t hear anything. No talking. No movement. No breathing. His heart thuds inside his chest as he quietly tries the door’s handle. It moves as well. He carefully opens the door.Hyuna’s there! She’s on the floor. Lying on her side. Her hands are tied with rope in front of her. Her legs pulled up to herself. Her eyes closed.Guk’s eyes widen and he gasps as he races forward to her. Then he turns quickly and catches the door before it can slam shut. He closes it quietly behind him.“Hyuna!” he breathes out as he runs to her side.He gets to the ground behind Hyuna’s back.

“Hyuna?” he whispers so his voice won’t crack with emotion. He places his hand lightly on her shoulder. He looks her up and down. She’s breathing! He sighs in relief. She’s not bleeding. He places his hand on the ground on the other side of her and leans over. He takes her shoulder again and carefully pulls her onto her back. She moans slightly but otherwise doesn’t move or make a sound. Her head is turned to the side. Her lips look red. Her face is red in areas. Her neck is also red at spots. Bruises align her cheek bones and there are a few scattered around her collar as well.  He looks down her to her shirt. It’s still on. It’s a button up shirt and all of the buttons are still fastened. He moves his eyes lower. Jeans still on, and they’re still fastened as well. He sighs in relief again and sits back. He rubs his forehead with his hand as he tries to think.Did GDragon really do what he had hinted at? He shakes the thought from his head and looks back down at Hyuna. He leans over her again and carefully turns her chin up towards him.

“Hyuna?” he whispers.“Uh.” She groans and her eyes squeeze shut tighter and her face twists in fear.“It’s me.” Guk breathes quickly. “Bang Yong Guk. It’s me. I’m here.”His fingers brush her hair away from her face. Then they graze down her cheek to her chin. He pulls his hand beside her face and his thumb lightly goes over the bruise on her cheek bone. His heart feels heavy. She moans and starts to move her head. At first she moves it into his hand and nuzzles against it, but then she whimpers and turns her face the other way.

“Hyuna,” Guk breathes again, “It’s me! BYG! Come back to me. Please.” He whines. She gasps and her eyes fling open. She searches the ceiling in panic before her eyes meet Guk’s. He stares back at her with worry.“Yong Guk!” she squeaks.“Yes!” he says out  loud as he yanks her up by her arms.He flings his arms around her neck and holds her tightly. She moans in agitation as her head flops onto his shoulder. It takes her a while to sigh and then she buries her face into his neck. He holds onto her for awhile and whispers to her.

“I’m so sorry! I’m so sorry.” He repeats over and over. “This is all my fault, I’m sorry.”

She moans and he pulls her back. He holds onto her shoulders to steady her and she stares at him. Her eyes are soft. Tired. She must feel disoriented still.“I won’t ever let him touch you again. Never again.” He says as his hands brush her hair again. She breathes out and her eyes close.

“Baby, are you hurt?” he asks as he scoots closer to her.He brings his knee up and has her lean against it. She sits in the middle of his legs now. Hers are at her side. His arm wraps around her shoulder and he pulls her into his chest as his other hand wraps around her waist. She groans and her hand starts to rub her wrist.

“Oh!” Guk gasps and leans her forward. Her eyes close. He grabs the key from his pocket. Why couldn’t GD have used cuffs on her too? He hooks part of the key around the rope. It’s not too thick. He grabs the rope and sticks his fingers between it and her wrist. He looks at her tentatively. Then he yanks the key back hard and she jerks a bit but the rope snaps. He unwraps her wrists and she sighs. He holds both of her wrists in his hands and rubs them. They have bruises on them but he tries to carefully massage them.“Guk.” She says quietly.“Yes!” he turns to her desperately. “Yes, baby, I’m here.”He wraps an arm around her shoulders again and pulls her into him. He rests his head on hers.“What’s going to happen?” her voice cracks. He keeps his tears back, not wanting to lie to her, but what else can he do for her? Any moment someone could come down here and separate them again. This is their moment.“We’re going to be okay.” He whispers to her.She breathes out.“I’ve known GDragon for a while now. He’s angry but I feel like he’s already let out his anger against us. Now… now he’ll go back to work.”“What is his work?” she asks quietly, snuggling into him.“About that…”“You can tell me, Guk.” She says. “I’ve already decided to forgive you.”“It’s not that simple.” He sighs.“It can be. I don’t need to know everything.”“Yes you do.” He states. “I’m going to tell you all of it. I’ll start from the beginning:I was sixteen and in high school. I had both my parents and my younger brother. My parents both worked at a ramen shop and we all lived in an apartment above. We didn’t have much money and I worked every day after school. So did Zelo. But we made it by okay. Ever since I was young I had gotten into fights at school. I hated it there. But I usually won.” He smirked. “One day Zelo and I got sent to the office. He and I had just been pulled out of a brawl with a gang at school. I had started it but Zelo had jumped in to help me out. I thought we were in some sort of trouble for that, but instead… the principal looked at us with pity. He told us there had been an accident. My parents had been driving home from the bank one day when a truck smashed into their car. My father died instantly.  Mother was in a coma in the hospital. That’s where she stayed for about another year. Zelo still attended school and I dropped out to run the shop. Eventually, our employees started to quit due to less pay checks. People from the government kept coming to check up on us. They kept threatening to take Zelo away from me. They said I was too young to care for it all on my own. They wanted to move both of us to a different home and sell our shop for money for us. I didn’t want to do that. I wanted to stay with mother and Zelo. Times were hard for us. Then one day… I went to the hospital. Mother was gone. Her room cleaned out. I stormed out and demanded to know where she was. Some nurse… she told me they’d pulled the plugs. Some man from… somewhere had come and had them pull the plugs. They killed her. Before me or Zelo could see her again they had killed her!

After that… everything went wrong. The government had rights to take our home and shop now. They sold it off to… some construction worker… they demolished it all. They were going to come back for Zelo and me. I just remember… Zelo crying in my arms as we sat in the rubble of our former lives. That’s when he came. GDragon. He was there with his gang. They looked similar. Hurt. Angry. Alone. But they had each other. And they had a place to stay. That’s when GD made his offer. I come and train with him in a division he was starting and he’d provide me and Zelo with a place to stay. Zelo could still attend his schooling like normal. I’d work for GDragon. And as a bonus I was promised revenge on those responsible for ruining our lives. Apparently, something similar had happened to GD sunbae and his gang.

They started me in training right away. I met the BAP boys there and we formed a group within GDragon’s program. That’s when I started to get my missions.”

“Your missions…” Hyuna said quietly, trailing her fingers around Guk’s arms, “That was me?”

“Not necessarily.” He answered under his breath.

He started to feel uncomfortable with telling her all of this. He didn’t know how it would affect her.“My father… he was the construction worker wasn’t he?” she guessed.“Yes.” He answered silently.“And he was the man… he was the one to turn off your mother’s machine…”“Yes.”She was quiet. Then he felt his neck become moist. Tears trickled out of her eyes and rolled down his neck. He held her tighter.“Oh, baby, don’t be like that.” He breathed.

“I’ve been so stupid.” She sobbed. “I was angry at you… but all along it was my father who ruined you.”

“It’s okay, babe. I’m fine.”“We ruined you and your brother’s lives.” She cried.“No. We’re okay. We’re going to be okay.”He rubbed the back of her head and her crying started to calm. She pulled away from him. She bent over and hid her face in her hands, hiding from him.He leaned forward and rubbed her back. His hands moved to her shoulders and he massaged them, trying to comfort her. What was he doing to her? Causing her so much trouble and pain. He was the one ruining her.Her cries started to stop and he could tell she was trying to stop her heavy breathing. She twisted in his arms and looked into his eyes. They were hurt. Sad. How could he cause her to look like that? He was a terrible guy.But then she leaned forward. Both of their eyes closed as she pressed her lips to his. Soft. Caring. Loving. They moved together, both choking back their tears. Their faces met and their tears were mixed. Both of their breathing was ragged, both of their hearts pounded inside of them, as if talking to each other through Morse code.Hyuna repositioned herself up onto her knees so that she was over Guk. Her hands held his face as his held her hips. She pushed him back and they laid down on the cold cement with her on top of him. Her hands went down to his chest as his held her onto him. They kissed passionately. Slowly at first but were gaining speed.Hyuna broke away first and both gasped for air. Guk’s arms wrapped around her back, sandwiching her to him. She slid off partly to the side and hid her face into his neck. He was breathing hard. She looked back at him, her eyes caring. Her fingers slid around his face as he looked back into her eyes. She lightly brushed his bruises. He grabbed her hand away from them. She was pitying him. She was angry at herself. She had gently touched his wounds in remorse for him. He pulled her hands away and brought them down to his chest. Her eyes were gentle. The silence was comfortable. He slid his hand to her face. He did the same. He gently touched the bruises on her cheek. There because of him. She had been hit because of him. She was in pain because of him. Her hand slid up his chest, feeling every turn and line until it hooked around his shoulder. He moved his finger down to her lips. He touched them lightly. Then he traced them with his pointer finger. Gently. His hand moved to the side of her face and he pulled her in again. He kissed her passionately again and she obeyed, moving her lips with his. This lasted a long time. The two moved easily and freely until they were sure there wasn’t a space in each other’s mouths and on their faces that their tongues hadn’t explored. Then when they broke apart, breathing hard, Guk took her hands and kissed them. She hooked around him again and they laid with each other quietly on the floor. Hyuna’s eyes closed as she hid her face in his neck. He could feel her soft kisses but they started to disappear. Her breathing became more regular and a sigh escaped her lips. She fell asleep. There. In his arms. On his body. Encased protectively in his arms. He held her tighter and stroked her hair.He stared at the ceiling. He didn’t want to sleep. He didn’t want to miss a second of their moment.
