[M] PART III - LUMINOUS BOY (1/1)

Baekhyun was going to the SG6’s infirmary without Lay’s help. It’s because Baekhyun didn’t get hurt anywhere and just need to recover from exhausted and get a comprehensive check up to his body. It’s all because Baekhyun worrying Chanyeol, and Chanyeol being protective he is, he make insist that Baekhyun need to go to the infirmary.“Can we go home now Channie?” Baekhyun asked when he heard a creak sounds from the door. He was so bored just lying on the bed all the day, and what he want now is spending the rest of their holiday with Chanyeol at home.“Channie??” Baekhyun startled at the silence, it sent him a chills. It’s strange, the one who opened the door is not Chanyeol. It’s not Chanyeol because this person didn’t answer him or reply his question earlier.  “Who’s that?? Chanyeol?? Chanyeol!! Where are you-AH!!” Baekhyun tried to get off from the bed but fell from the bed instead, but fortunately he was fine since someone already caught him in the arms.“Tsk so clumsy, do I scare you Light?” That voice.There's just two person that would call him Light, first; team leader Yunho, and then...“Mind Controller?” Baekhyun looked up, he tried to seek for the boy but he was too far from Baekhyun's hands. The Mind Controller helps to lied Baekhyun back to his bed. He dragged the chair near to the bed and sit down. “What’s happened? You came alone?” Baekhyun asked.“Can’t I?” The Mind Controller is known for a shrewd guy, he always know how to play with words. And it’s just strange for him to visit Baekhyun without reason. “I just came over because I’m curious about your condition… Are you okay? He.. didn’t hurt you right?” The Mind Controller sounds different today, that was Baekhyun noticed. He seems like a bit more friendly?“I’m okay, it’s Chanyeol who just worry too much. He? Who are you talking--? Oh! He.. The kidnapper?? You knew him Mind Controller?”The Mind Controller took a deep breath, somehow it makes Baekhyun felt like he was withheld something from Baekhyun. “Yeah, the kidnapper. He... uh how do I start this.." He coughed. "I’ll tell you a bit about my secret. First, my name is Do Kyungsoo.”Baekhyun eyes widened in surprised. Baekhyun knew The Mind Controller  is not a sociable person, he even didn’t let anyone to know his name. Then why would he tell Baekhyun now? “Do Kyungsoo…” Baekhyun repeated it. “What a nice name, why did you hide it when you have such a nice name?”

The Mind Controller didn’t answer Baekhyun but chuckles.Kyungsoo is the only one amongst them who build the unseen big wall to everything around him. Sometimes it make Baekhyun wondering, what’s happened to someone who wouldn't let anyone to know his name? He must be hurting a lot then, he must have a strong reason for it all.“You’re right. It’s because I don’t want to attached to someone.. I don’t want you too, my team mate, to get attached to me.” Baekhyun forget that Kyungsoo is Mind Controller, it meant he could read Baekhyun’s minds.“Huh? But.. Why? I mean.. We are team right? We’re in the same boat right now. And I think nothing would be hurt just by know your name. At least your nickname. Do you have a nickname??”“No. I don’t.”  Kyungsoo shooked his head.“Should I make one for you?” Baekhyun smiles.Kyungsoo laughs, “Oh yes you can. But remember I’ll erase my real name after this meeting though. So yeah, maybe calling me with nickname is okay. Tell me when you find one.”“Sure! I’ll discuss it with Chanyeol later!!” Baekhyun chirps.Kyungsoo smile disappeared as he heard Chanyeol’s name came out, he sighed and decided to stop to fakes a smile, Baekhyun couldn’t see it anyway.“Chanyeol.. Did he treat you well?"Baekhyun blinks, his lips curled into smile as he bobs his head up and down. "Yeah, we're a bit awkward at first. But I'm thankful to Leader who set the two of us up as pair now. Chanyeol is so kind to me." Baekhyun had those big smiles plastered on his face when he talk. He felt a bit embarrassed to talk about Chanyeol with someone else honestly, but somehow talking with Kyungsoo make him felt comfortable."Really? That's good. Does he still yelp like a dog 3 times in his sleep?” Kyungsoo asked again.Baekhyun opened his mouth with big O shape in surprised. “How did you know??”“We all know it.” Kyungsoo rubs his hands together, the air con in the room seems too cold for his like. “Does Chanyeol still wake up because of the nightmare at night?” He added.Baekhyun eyes rounded in confusion now. It’s getting strange now, how could anyone besides him know about Chanyeol’s habits?  "How.. did you know?"Kyungsoo smiled, grab Baekhyun’s hands and caressed it gently."I know because I used to be there 3 years ago. In your place."Baekhyun startled. No one ever mention that Kyungsoo is closed with Chanyeol before. And moreover, Kyungsoo said that he used to be at Baekhyun's place then. Does it mean...Baekhyun didn’t knew what make his chest suddenly felt this hurt. Baekhyun didn’t knew what the meaning of all this craps…“What.. What do you mean?” the tears hanging on Baekhyun’s eyes, he noticed it by himself."Don't get it wrong, I just-"“Baekhyun?” It’s Chanyeol. Baekhyun know it the most to whom those deep voice belong to. Baekhyun heard the footstep coming closer.“Oh and you’re here too Mind Controller?” Chanyeol walked across the room and go to near Baekhyun’s bed. “What’s wrong?”“Nothing, just visiting Baekhyun. Ah, I gotta go now.” Kyungsoo was about to leave before he turned to see the unpleased face on Baekhyun’s face.“Baekhyun-ssi.. Let’s talk about it later, for now I’ll dismissed. Bye.”Baekhyun just nodded and didn’t answer anything even Chanyeol asked him about a hundred time what they’ve talking about so seriously like that when he’s not around.Baekhyun just kept his mouth shut even Chanyeol told him they could go to home now. Chanyeol kept trying to talk and asking Baekhyun what’s wrong when the smaller just insist that he’s fine, he’s just tired and want to sleep at the room. Baekhyun told Chanyeol too that he want to sleep alone at his old room this night and locked the room before Chanyeol could get in.Baekhyun’s knees felt so soft that he fell to the floor as soon as he was alone. Baekhyun lied his back to the door as his minds rewinds to Kyungsoo’s words earlier about Chanyeol.Kyungsoo, The Mind Controller, he used to be at Baekhyun's place 3 years ago.It’s like a puzzled for Baekhyun when he remembers Kyungsoo said.."Chanyeol can share his if you'd like. Oh come on Phoenix don't tell me you already out of stock of those things in the box under your bed! Are you an animal? How could you make our poor Baekhyunnie suffered like that?"So, they have done ‘that’ too back then. Kyungsoo knew it because Kyungsoo was used to be there, on Baekhyun’s place."Why did that guy can running my car without my fingerprints??"“That guy? Who?”“That guy, Mind Controller…”So that’s why Kyungsoo could use Chanyeol’s car without Chanyeol’s fingerprints. Maybe they've already set it up so they could use the car together? Who’s know?Chanyeol seems didn’t remember about it at all. Kyungsoo must be erased his traces from Chanyeol’s mind then. But why now? Why did Kyungsoo brought up all of this things to Baekhyun  when he’s the one who erase himself from everyone’s mind?Baekhyun keep asking to himself why did Kyungsoo came to visit him suddenly and told him about his past with Chanyeol. Why did he came to tell all of this ridiculous things to Baekhyun?“What if he came to take Chanyeol back?” Baekhyun didn’t want to think that way but what should he do? The situation makes him to think so.Baekhyun didn’t sleep at all and just stare blankly to the floor even he couldn’t see anything. It’s all dark. It’s so dark without Chanyeol around. It’s lonely. It’s lonely without Chanyeol around.Without Baekhyun realize he held the cutter on his hands, his hands shaking hard as he held into that familiar metal on his fingers. It's been a long time since the last time he hold a sharp things like cutter. Chanyeol never let him touch anything like knife or cutter because it’s harm Baekhyun. Chanyeol even shave Baekhyun’s facial hairs by himself to avoid the possibility of Baekhyun getting hurt by knife again.Baekhyun's fingers tracing on the marks on his wrist.Baekhyun remember waking up by the nice warmth on his wrist that day…“What’s that? It’s felt nice..”"It’s the mark. So everytime you want to cut yourself, you'll remember me. You'll remember how it hurts me if you hurt yourself like that."Baekhyun remember Chanyeol giving him that mark so he would stop cutting. Chanyeol was the only reason Baekhyun being so strong like this. And now Chanyeol is the reason Baekhyun felt this weak..The tears won't stop to streaming down on his face. Chanyeol's voice echoed on his head like a broken cassette. Chanyeol... Chanyeol... There's nothing that could make Baekhyun get rid Chanyeol from  his head.Baekhyun didn't want to go back to his old self, he didn’t want to go back to that coward Baekhyun. But Baekhyun convinced himself that it was he deserve. The dark, the loneliness. Chanyeol was too bright and too beautiful for him. Chanyeol is deserve better. Someone better, someone who can look after him, styled up his messy bed hairs in the morning for him, looking after him. Everything that Baekhyun wouldn't be able to do for Chanyeol.Baekhyun is blind, what the blind man could do?Chanyeol need someone better than Baekhyun. And it might be Do Kyungsoo, the guy who could be a perfect mate for Chanyeol.At least, he’s not blind. *** It’s been 2 days since Baekhyun avoided Chanyeol and stop to sleep in Chanyeol’s room. Baekhyun rarely came out from his room, Chanyeol would knock out his room but Baekhyun didn’t let him in. Baekhyun just yelled that he was fine, telling Chanyeol to go to have a vacation and find someone out there to spent the holiday with.But Chanyeol just want to see Baekhyun. Chanyeol didn't need a holiday or vacation.“Byun Baekhyun, I’m serious right now. Open the fucking door.” Chanyeol’s voice sounds so deep and bold. He looks almost lost his nerve, he didn’t know what happened to their relationship, to Baekhyun, why did he suddenly push Chanyeol away like this?It’s like a punishment for Chanyeol. Does Baekhyun got angry because Chanyeol didn’t brought him to vacation like the others do? Or is it that something about his word towards the boy that affected him being like this?“Byun Baekhyun, if you don’t open the door right now, I’ll burn this fucking door and you will see- Oh you open it- Hey Baekhyunnie!”“Just go Chanyeol, I’m fine.” Baekhyun peeked from the door, he still didn’t let Chanyeol in. It’s make Chanyeol’s frustrated.“Ouch!!” Chanyeol grabbed Baekhyun in the wrist so now he walked out of his room and standing right in front of Chanyeol. “Chanyeol let me go!! Let me go I said!!!” Baekhyun try to spare himself from Chanyeol’s arms but Chanyeol is so strong compares to him. So he couldn’t do anything when Chanyeol get him in the hands and noticed something on his wrist.New scars...“You cut yourself again?” Chanyeol noticed there’s a new opened wounds below the mark that Chanyeol painted on Baekhyun’s wrist. Barring the scars on the other hand.Baekhyun gulped. He saw it.“I’m fine!” Baekhyun pulled away his hands from Chanyeol and hide his wrist with his sweater long sleeve. Baekhyun looks so pales and so skinny compared from the last time Chanyeol saw him; Chanyeol noted.“What happened? Does something scares you out? Does someone torturing you? Tell me. Tell me right away so I could get rid of those bastard for you!!” Chanyeol shaking Baekhyun’s shoulders. Baekhyun bit his lower lip and shooks his head.“No.. No one.. Really, I’m fine…” Baekhyun lied. Honestly he was so near to tears now..Honestly he was totally not fine.“You are not!!” Chanyeol screamed his frustration out. “You don’t just cut your wrist and say you’re fine to me!!! You think I’m a fool?? You think you can fool me after I saw how deep those scars on your wrist??!! BULL SHIT!!!” Chanyeol hit the wall behind Baekhyun angrily, he lost his nerve right now. And Baekhyun’s lies didn’t help at all, it’s like pouring down the open wounds with salt water.“Don’t. Don’t do this Chanyeol.. Stop caring so much about me. I’m not worth it all. Just let me get what I deserve.”Chanyeol glared at Baekhyun and grab him in  the wrist. “THIS??” Chanyeol yelled. “This is what you think you deserve??!!”The tears fell from Baekhyun’s eyes without him noticing. “Y.. yes.. I deserve it all..”“No, you didn't deserve any of all of this madness!! Don’t you see how much I care about you? How much it’s hurts me to see you hurting yourself like this just because you think you deserve those pain??!!”"Because I was born with it!!!" Baekhyun screamed, the strings of tears wont stop falling from his eyes. "Don't you know? Even my parent abandoned me on the street when they found out I was blind." Baekhyun laughs bitterly when his past came back again through him like a waterfall."If the orpanage won't see me that day, maybe I'm already a dead meat right now... If only everyone just stop pretending to care, I wont felt the pain like this way right now!! If only they let me die""Stop it!! Stop talking about dying!!! Do you think your death will pleasure anyone here? Don't you ever think that there's someone who would get hurt everytime you have to commited suicide?? Someone like me??!" Chanyeol talked back.“Why.. why should you feeling hurt too? I’m the one who painted those scars on my wrist. It’s not related with you, so don’t—“

Chanyeol didn't let Baekhyun finish his words with his lips. Chanyeol grabbed Baekhyun neck and make him couldn’t move an inch while he poured down all his feeling to the kisses. Chanyeol poured down his frustration to the kiss until both of them run out of oxygen.Baekhyun flustered in red while Chanyeol breathing heavily on his cheeks.“Chan—“"Don't acted like you don't know it... Why? ‘Why’ you ask me?" Chanyeol laughs bitterly to the air."Chan—"“You speak to me with words, but I always looking at you with feelings.” Chanyeol cuttened Baekhyun’s words again. The tears flowing down from his face but Baekhyun don’t see it. “And you can’t see it. My feelings.” Chanyeol hit the door angrily. “God dammit, I love you so much but I can’t show you I do!!” Chanyeol yelled before turned to the flustered boy.Chanyeol grabbed Baekhyun’s hands and squized it. “Don’t you get it? I’m hurting because I love you.. I love you so fucking much… But for you words doesn’t enough. I want to show you, but you can’t see it. You can’t see it not because you’re blind!”Baekhyun never heard that Chanyeol called him  blind before. It meant Chanyeol must be very upset now.“You cant see it because you’re not looking into my feelings closely. You don’t see it because you don’t even try to see it.”Chanyeol let go of Baekhyun’s hands and dropped on his knees and cries. “What should I do to make you notice me? What should I do to make you looking through my heart and know that it’s yours? Do you have any idea how frustrating it was for me?”Baekhyun bit his lips, the tears won’t stop falling.“But you deserve better… Much better than me Chanyeol.. Who knows that you might forget someone that you really love before and this is… just a mistake. You’re not in love with me, it’s just a pity. Your feelings towards me is just… pity…““What do you mean with someone better? I don’t want someone better, I don’t want any other. I just want you!! Don’t you get it??!!” Chanyeol get up and cupped Baekhyun’s face.“I love you… Please… Believe it… It’s alright you can’t see me. It’s alright you can’t see how sincere I am. It’s alright.. Just… Believe that I love you like I never loved anybody else before. Can you?”Baekhyun finally nodded his head while Chanyeol pecked the shell of his ear.“I’ll call Lay to healed your wounds for you. I know it’s all dry but who’s know that the wounds is dangerous to your blood vessels.” Chanyeol was about to go to call for Lay when Baekhyun stopped him with a back hug.“Baekhyunnie?” Chanyeol called out.“Can we call Lay tomorrow? I just need you right now and everything will be okay.”Chanyeol’s face flushed in red, he released himself from Baekhyun’s small arms and turned around to see that Baekhyun have the same red face as him. Chanyeol smiled to Baekhyun’s shyness and decided to follow Baekhyun’s wish. “Okay.”Chanyeol carried Baekhyun by his arms and lied him down on his bed gently. Their bed."Chanyeol..." Baekhyun called out for the taller while the said person was busy planted kisses on his neck."Don't you know Baek?” Chanyeol breath in while he looking up onto Baekhyun’s reddened face. “You deserve every beautiful things in this world.” Chanyeol smiled.  “You deserve gently kisses on your skins.." He kissed Baekhyun’s fingertips as watching the flushed in red Baekhyun stare blankly to his own fingers. “No.. I don't...” Baekhyun said with trembling voice. Chanyeol hold his chuckle when he saw how shy Baekhyun after what happened and try to teased him a little by suck those beautiful finger with his mouth and licked over the rest finger with his warm tongue.“Nhh! No Chanyeol!!” Baekhyun bit his lips nervously. “Yes you do. You deserve all the longing eyes from everyone..." Chanyeol looked up, stops to teased Baekhyun's fingers when he saw the boy bit his lips nervously. "You deserve all the sweetness of this world but nothing could taste as sweet as you do. ” Chanyeol said, caressed Baekhyun’s cheeks as the boy leaned closer to meet Baekhyun’s lips with his.“I want to kiss you over and over… Having this sweet lips for my own even I know you deserve more. Much more."Chanyeol didn’t have to wait, Baekhyun kissed the boy full in the lips. Chanyeol saw Baekhyun took a deep breath. "He ended up hurting me too, it's hurts to death... I'm so scared Chanyeol... Everything was dark and silence, what I heard is my echoed cries and screams in the room when he did it to me." Chanyeol brought the smaller to his arms, hug him tight and told him that it was okay, the anger of someone else touching his Baekhyun that way clouded his mind but he keep it for himself. Chanyeol didn’t want to make Baekhyun felt worse than he already is, what Chanyeol wanted was Baekhyun being happy. It’s all in the past. Chanyeol wouldn't hurt him and would keep him safe now."And then those people from government found me, I don't know how they found me when I'm all wasted and all what I want is to die. Those person brought me to the room and take care of my wounds, they told me that I'm in the right place. But it's been so long I've wandered all alone in the room, feeling the emptyness getting even bolder than before." Chanyeol remember how Baekhyun looks like when the first time they met. All his bones showing under those pales skins. He looks so fragile like a glass."I think there's no place in the universe where I belong to." Baekhyun paused to licked his lips when his lips curled into smile. "And then you came along, you came with that voice of yours and giving me a goosebumps when I heard it because…. Because…" Baekhyun took a moment before he continue.“I’m burning…” Those husky voice said.“What?” Chanyeol get up and turned to see his luminous boy stare blankly with hands extended to the ceiling with smile plastered on his face.Baekhyun is glowing.It’s his palms that glowing but the smile on his face is the one that makes Chanyeol’s dazzled.“Everytime I touch you, I feel like I’m burning. I don't know how to explain this... It’s so hot as if I could see a fire behind my lids from every touch you gave to me.” Baekhyun stopped to licked his swollen lips.“It’s funny right? I don’t even know how fire itself looks like...” Baekhyun turned to Chanyeol, his eyes staring at Chanyeol’s neck now, he really couldn’t see where is Chanyeol face. So he really couldn’t see Chanyeol at all.“It’s looks like me.” Chanyeol smiled.“Huh?” Baekhyun tilted his head in confusion.“Fire, it’s exactly looks like me.” Chanyeol said, his eyes glued to the other’s eyes. The eyes that wouldn’t ever be able to looking at him. To know how he looks like. To know how his face were. Baekhyun’s eyes wont know it all.. Chanyeol is in love with those eyes, but they wouldn’t be ever to know Chanyeol.“Maybe I don't know how you looks like..”  Chanyeol startled when he felt Baekhyun’s fingers trailing down on his face, to his nose; then he saw the smaller smile . “How your sharp nose looks like..” It’s now went down to Chanyeol’s lips. “How your gentle lips looks like...” And now those fingers went up right to Chanyeol’s hairs and Baekhyun's smile grew even wider. “How you styled your hairs today and how your hairs looks like when I messed it up..” Baekhyun is so innocent and naïve when he said it all. Chanyeol didn’t know what makes the tears is hanging on his eyes already. Chanyeol was about to cry just by looking at those beautiful smile.“It’s true that I cant see you. I cant do anything about it. But I can feel you.. I can feel you burning me up and now it’s the only matter for me.” Baekhyun knew Chanyeol is crying, because now he wiped those tears away from the taller’s face as he smiling to the taller.“Because I love you. I’ve always been in love with you Chanyeol. From the very first time I touch you.”Baekhyun is glowing, he was glowing so bright but what’s dazzled Chanyeol was not his glowing palms or his glowing fingers. It’s just Baekhyun himself.Baekhyun were shining so bright that Chanyeol could go blind because of it, and no matter what happened Baekhyun wouldn’t know how bright he’s shining because he couldn’t see it.Baekhyun is the light that always guide everyone to the right way to go home, Baekhyun is the one who makes everyplace like a home for Chanyeol as long as they’re together.For Chanyeol, Baekhyun is the Luminous Boy who always shines as bright as the sun.“Phoenix, Light. We need you right now.”“Huh? But it's not even a week since you give us a holiday!” Chanyeol and Baekhyun would always been the hero who tried their best to save the country while everyone sleeping at night."Yeah I know, but I'll pay back your holiday. For now because of the sudden darkness by eclipse we need Light to help! So come here right now!""Yes Sir! But what’s happened now was a total darkness clouded all the city, the country.Baekhyun stand right beside Chanyeol, their interlinked fingers holding onto each other tight while waiting for the moon going to covered up the sun in the sky completely."Yo Phoenix, you came?" Chanyeol turned around, smiling as he realizes all of his member is standing in the same line with him."Of course, this guy need me to be able to shine."
