“I’m an idiot, aren’t I ?” Hae Won asked. She drowned her face to the pillow, hiding the embarrassment and the swollen face. She’s in her bedroom on the beautiful Sunday morning, few days after visiting Seung Ho. “Oh crap, I’m such an idiot !!”Ji Yeon reached out and held Hae Won’s arms before she hurt herself more. “Ya, stop it. There’s nothing you can do about it, it already happened.”“Seung Ho might think I’m crazy or something.”“I think he already knew that,” JiYeon added.“Ya !”“Ouch ! Don’t kick me !” JiYeon hit her friend with the pillow. “Look, it’s not that Seung Ho said something bad after you told him your feeling. You should be grateful that he hasn’t rejected you…I mean…you still have a chance.”Hae Won got up from her bed because of it. She frowned at JiYeon, “I thought you want me to get over him…”JiYeon sighed, “I do. But, somehow, I understand how does it feel to stand in your shoes. Guys are too complicated, you know ? We’ve given all our consideration to them but yet they still can’t figure out our feeling for them. They will realize it after we slap them with the truth. I mean, being straightforward is useful, just like you did.”“But it’s embarrassing if he doesn’t feel the same way,” Hae Won got off of her bed and sat on the floor with JiYeon.“Then he’s literally stupid,” Ji Yeon said. “You took care of him when he’s sick, you acknowledge his talent, you made him stop playing with girls… if he can’t respect your feeling after what you did, he’s the super babo !!”Hae Won laughed so hard at her best friend. She understood that JiYeon wanted to cheer her up, but her saying was funny to be heard. “Anyway,” Hae Won continued after she stopped laughing, “this guy… you’re talking about. Who’s he ?”JiYeon startled, “What, what do you mean ?”“Come on ! You like someone, don’t you ?!” Hae Won nudged her friend’s shoulder in excitement. “Who’s that lucky guy ?”JiYeon snorted, “He’s lucky enough that a girl can like him, that coward babo…”Hae Won pointed her finger to JiYeon, a hint hitting her head, “You hissed him comfortably…Are you close with him ? Is it—”JiYeon already covered Hae Won’s mouth before she could finish her words. Hae Won noticed her redden face, it just made everything clear. Hae Won shouted loudly, realizing how cute her friendship with JiYeon and Joon was.*“Kim Hae Won !”Hae Won turned around when somebody called her name. It was another ordinary day for school. Hae Won with her sleepiness she brought to school, finally opened her eyes widely when she saw the figure.She was surprised seeing Yang Seung Ho was standing at the school gate, looking neat in white shirt and black pants. His formal shoes looked so shiny like they were brand new. His new blonde hair looked messy compared to how good looking he was in those clothes. Hae Won shook her head lightly, calling her sense back.Yang Seung Ho walked closer, ignoring some juniors who were squealing behind his back. He chuckled, “Look at you, walking like you just drank makgeoli…”“Are you coming here just to diss me ?” Hae Won pouted.“Of course not,” Seung Ho grabbed his pocket and took out a key with the keychain. He gave it to Hae Won. “Here you go.”“What is that ?” Hae Won asked.“Babo ya, it’s a key !” Seung Ho pissed.“I know it’s a key…But what key is it ?!”Seung Ho sighed, couldn’t believe that Hae Won was so slow. “It’s my apartment’s key. If you want to come, don’t wait outside. The weather is bad nowadays. Just go in and eat, or cook something.”“Why do you think I want to come to visit you again ?!” Hae Won dropped her jaw, although she couldn’t hide her excitement in her voice.Seung Ho bursted out laughing, “Ya, you’re the one who confessed to me ! You have determination, ya know.”Hae Won looked down to hide her face. It’s really embarrassing.“Just take it, okay,” Seung Ho grabbed Hae Won’s wrist and opened the palm. He put the key on it and folded her fingers. “You should be grateful that I’m still nice at you.”“Why ?”“Huh ?”“Well…you hate my dad, you don’t want to meet your mom anymore. You don’t let anybody else close to you unless you trust them. Unless you also give another keys to other girls, does it mean I’m special ?” Hae Won put a grin on her face. She meant to take revenge at his teasing, but somehow she noticed Seung Ho was nervous when Hae Won asked that question.Seung Ho coughed. “I told you before that you looked pitiful sleeping on my porch. Don’t ever do that again. Now, I have to go to work.”“What work ? Meeting the ladies ?” Hae Won teased.“You—it’s not like that !” Seung Ho wanted to hit Hae Won’s head, but he poked her forehead instead. He couldn’t hit a girl, especially Hae Won. “Don’t give the key to anyone, okay ?! Not even my mom.”“Okay,” Hae Won smiled and put the key inside her jacket.The school’s bell finally rang, Hae Won excused herself to enter the school hall, while Seung Ho left to work. Both of them didn’t realize that EunYeong watched everything inside her car, while Joon grinding his teeth in jealousy from the other side.
