Mrs. Yang was unnerved when she looked at Hae won on the next morning. She never saw that girl ate breakfast deliciously, she even asked for more rice. Mr. Kim who didn’t notice the cheer on his daughter’s face only flipped his newspaper’s page as usual.Seung Ho who suddenly appeared, took a toast from the plate and left. He didn’t say anything to his mother and just flew to the front door. “Ya, Seung Ho, at least say something before you go !” Mrs. Yang yelled at her son.“I’m off !” Seung Ho replied before he closed the door.“Yang Seung Ho, wait up !” with mouth full of meal, Hae Won grabbed her bag and walked out. She took her bike and followed Seung Ho. “Yang Seung Ho !”Seung Ho rolled his eyes, turned around and faced his step sister. His hands were busy fixing his tie, “I told you not to call me with that name !”Ignoring his shout, Hae Won moved forward and grabbed Seung Ho’s tie from his hands. She put it around his neck and tied it properly. “Just stand still,” Hae Won said. She could smell the soap scent around Seung Ho’s neck, but quickly focusing on what she’s doing.Staring at Hae Won’s redden face, Seung Ho snatched the tie back from Hae Won, “Stop acting nice. I can do it by myself.”“Ya, you definitely can’t do that, that’s why you never wear a tie at school,” Hae Won offended. “It’s not your business,” Seung Ho replied coldly.Displeased at Seung Ho’s answer, Hae Won wondered how come someone’s personality changed in couple hours, “Yang Seung Ho, what’s wrong with you ? You treated me nicely last night but you’re a douche in the morning ?! Do you have dual personalities or something ?”“Treated you nicely ? Are you daydreaming ?” Seung Ho continued walking and just ignored Hae Won on the street.“Wha—ya, douche, you kissed me last night !!!” Hae Won shoutted. Some middle-aged women who passed them turning their heads.Seung Ho stopped, turned himself once again to the girl who felt like she wanted to throw her bike to his face. He tilted his head, showing taunt at her : what an innocent girl, “Kiss is just a kiss.”Hae Won dropped her jaw in disbelief. She couldn’t believe herself had fallen into his trap. A douche like Yang Seung Ho would never change until the end of the world. “You said you’ll kiss me often !!”Seung Ho gave her a flirty grin. “I will. Our rooms are next to each other. I can easily sneak to your room and kiss you when you sleep.”Hae Won felt like she’s drowning into a pot of boiling water. She’s embarrassed yet angry at that guy infront of her. She could easily throw her bike to his face, but her bike was more valuable than that jerk. Holding her anger inside her head, Hae Won rode her bike and left Seung Ho on the sideway without throwing more words.Seeing Hae Won’s back was getting further, Seung Ho could only sigh. The innocent girl who would get more hurt in the future.*Library was the only place Hae Won chose to calm down. The silent place where nobody’s allowed to talk, Hae Won hid herself between the high bookshelves. She couldn’t get rid of the kiss she got from Seung Ho that night. although they had a bad relationship before, it was the first time Hae Won could feel his sincere heart. For few seconds, she noticed that Seung Ho had a gentle side too. She didn’t understand why he acted differently that morning.Suddenly her selfthoughts got distracted when she heard people entered the alley between the bookshelves right beside her. She pressed herself against the wall, while she slightly noticed the voice of the guy there. It was Yang Seung Ho with another girl, again.“Here you go,” the girl with long black hair put the key inside Seung Ho’s palm. It was Eunyeong, one of the popular and rich girls in Chul Moo High.“Thanks, Eunyeong,” Seung Ho gave her a bitter smile, put the key inside his pants. “I owe you big.”“No, you’re not,” Eunyeong started her fingers in Seung Ho’s collarbones, “You know I always wanted something from you.”Hae Won gulped, she could see everything from the small gap of the shelves. It happened again.Eunyeong pushed Seung Ho to the wall, started kissing him hardly. Without resistance, he let her kissing him and doing whatever she wanted to him. Seung Ho closed his eyes, suddenly lost his self-esteem as part of human being. He’s tired of being used for other person’s advantage, but couldn’t do anything to fight back. Every girl used him for their own happiness, she never met a girl who accepted him as him. A girl who saw him as a person, who had been struggling with the world which always put him in big trouble.Suddenly, Hae Won emerged in his mind.“You such a shameless person.”Seung Ho opened his eyes and pushed Eunyeong away from his body. He saw Hae Won leant on the bookshelves, looked disgusted toward him. He looked closer, noticed that she held back her tears.“How many times I have to catch you making out with random girls ?” Hae Won intentionally lifted up her voice to gain people’s attention inside the library. The librarian who heard the noises approached them. She was shocked when she’s looking at Seung Ho’s and Eunyeong’s messy uniform.“What did you young people do inside my library ?!” the librarian screamed. “Get out !! You guys are in big trouble. The headmaster shall know this.”Seung Ho didn’t hide his shocked face. He would end up into another detention again. Eunyeong who already cried left the place without saying nothing. Other students inside the library stared at him in disgust. The Devil of Chul Moo suddenly had changed his image into The Jerk. He walked with his head down.“I can’t believe I almost fall for you, Yang Seung Ho,” Hae Won whispered when Seung Ho walked pass her. “I thought I’ve seen the real you. I guess I was wrong.”“Kim Hae Won,” Seung Ho caught her arms, but Hae Won shrugged off. She walked away, couldn’t find away to look him in the eyes. It felt like her chest had exploded into million pieces. She didn’t know why she felt that way, because of one guy named Yang Seung Ho.Hae Won thought that short moment infront of her room was the last time she considered Seung Ho as a jerk. She was wrong. She’s just another girl for him to be kissed. --can't believe I already posted 14 chapters~ long way to go, I guess >.<comments ? :)
