Two Warm Cups (1/1)

This is the first chapter~ Yippee. Enjoy. :3 The wind blew harder than normal today. You could finally tell it was becoming winter, one of your favorite seasons, where the snow blanketed the city of Seoul in a white wonderland. You crossed your arms tightly across your chest at an attempt for more warmth. You suddenly regretted not bringing your extra coat today.  "Aish....Miyung-ie didn't bring enough layers today."  Seunghyun said, shaking his head. He too, wore a thick coat and a hat to cover his hair. Today was his day-off from filming. The director of his new movie had disappeared, and you couldn't help but feel sorry for Seunghyun's wasted work and the director's un-professionalism. You and him were walking through a park, the same park you had met many years ago, in the beginning of your High School years. Out of the corner of your eyes, you watched him take no action from his spoken words. You scoffed at him, giving up and looking at my boots.  "Isn't Choi Seunghyun supposed to be a gentleman? Aren't you going to offer something to make me warmer?"  You might've sounded like a cold person to strangers, but he knew you were nothing like your words implied. Both of you knew us were just joking.  "Of course, I do."  He said, chuckling in a smug tone. This surprised you, but you tried to show no change of emotion to keep him a little dissatisfied. He watched you before looking quickly away. You knew he had something in mind for sure. You stretched out my ankle forward at every step. Gently, you kicked his foot, causing him to smile slightly.  "What do you propose?" You asked, genuinely curios, as you looked up and pushed loose hairs out of your eyes. He suddenly grabbed your wrist and dragged you beside a bench. As he spoke, you took a seat, still not looking at his impregnating eyes. You didn't like looking at people's eyes.  "I'll go get some coffee."You nodded, but finally found something wrong in his logic. Wouldn't people notice him?  "Shouldn't I get the coffee?" "No." he said seriously. "Me." He tapped his chest. You rolled your eyes, silently laughing at him.  "Fine, TEE OH PEE." He gave you a half-hard look and a half-confused look, before slowly jogging across the street. A sigh escaped your mouth, and you watched it, rise up into the sky as a smoky vapor, while you gently tapped your foot against the cold concrete pavement. Your eyes couldn't help spot the old ajhumma sitting at the bench across from you, shredding a loaf of bread tossing it to the flock of pigeons at her feet. And her next action surprised you even more. She winked. Stunned, You turned away embarrassed. You always did this in situations like this. You wanted to say something but you just...couldn't. You were curios. Why did she wink? Your thoughts were interrupted by Seunghyun's heavy breathing that could be heard from several feet behind you. You jumped surprised, and relieved that you didn't have to deal with the old lady again. Seriously, what did she want? You was a wary person, and you didn't trust people easily. "Thanks." You responded, when Seunghyun shoved a cup into your hands. You felt a sudden rush of warmth and gave a faint smile. "Why-why are you breathing so hard? It’s only a short jog from the café."  "I...I almost got caught by a fan. I ran outta there as fast as I could. I ran around the block to be sure." "Told you." You  said, sighing at his silliness, and pushing him into a closer, but more hidden area so he could catch his breath. Giving him moments to take in air, you looked at the ajhumma, noticing she was still looking at you. Before she could open her mouth, you gently tugged at Seunghyun's sleeve telling him that it was getting late. He nodded and you both headed towards your apartment. *************************************He stood outside your door, giving me a grin as you offered for him to come in.  "Come on, oppa." you pleaded. "Toki missed you." Toki was your crème colored French bulldog that you had bought as a puppy in Busan. He was already two years old.  "It's fine." He chuckled, in a voice you had gotten to know so well over all the years. He shook his head, his hand reaching for the back of his neck. We both stood watching each other. Anticipating each other's next movements. It was a silence, yet not an awkward one. It was one of your silences. That moment would've seemed awkward for anyone except for you and Seunghyun. He broke the silence.  "Well..." He finally came to the point where he poked his own cheek. You couldn’t help but laugh at his rare aegyo moment. When you two were younger, he was the aegyo master in between you two. Instead of saying thanks in any other way, he just wanted a simple little kiss on the cheek from his dongsaeng. He already always knew the outcome. You would simply smile and close the door, stifling laughter. He would wait outside, placing his ear on your door  making sure he made you laugh. This was how you two teased each other. You both thought of each other as friends. Siblings. He knew he would never get that kiss. And that's the way you both wanted to keep it.
