Alice was a sweet girl, always listening to her parents, never getting into trouble. She was a short, blonde girl with brown eyes. Her life was perfect. Until one day her life changed in a blink of an eye.It was a wet foggy morning; Alice was just ten years old. Her parents would always carpool together to save gas and money. On this particular day it was Alice’s birthday and she was very excited.“Mommy, mommy, guess what day it is!” Alice exclaimed happily.“Um, I don’t know, what?”“Silly, it’s my birthday!” The happy, now eleven year old, jumped up and down in excitement.“I knew it was, I just wanted to see if you knew.” Alice’s mother said with a giggle.“Congratulations kiddo.” Alice’s father said.“Alice, go get your coat on its chilly today and we’re going to be late if we don’t hurry.” Alice’s mother said in a happy but rushed voice.“Okay mommy.”Now in the car driving to school, Alice was happily singing along to the radio.
