Chapter 6: Coming Out (F (1/1)

January 5th, 20166:26 AM- What is this? – The girls manager pointed to a photo on his computer screen.   It was Solar and Moonbyul kissing. A photo that was taken back in November when the both of them where at their Han River date.   Moonbyul had her head down and so did Solar. “We should’ve been more careful.” was all that was on their minds.- Since when this been going on? – The manager continued.Both kept with their heads down.– You guys honestly thought that this would work? – He stared to walk around the room, hand on his face. – Aiish… Do you know how much is going to cost us so that this photo doesn’t get publish?- We are sorry! We are so sorry! – Moonbyul and Solar started to say and bowl.- Is too late for that, don’t you think? – He said on a serious tone. – Having that photo of you two kissing back in June was already a problem, even being for the music video. Can you imagine what this picture – He pointed to the screen. – would cause? Aish… What were you guys thinking? – He keep repeating.   The manager looked at both of them with a disgust face.- I can’t believe I’ll have to deal with this… – He continued. – I feel sick. – He said on a low tone.   Solar could hear it. That was it, she was done.- Maybe we here not thinking… – She said on a relatively loud tone.   Moonbyul looked at her, surprised, and started to nod her head. “Don’t”, she moved her mouth.- We just wanted to be together and… – She continued before being interrupted.- Be together?! – He gave a sarcastic laugh. – You are girls. Girls don’t date other girls, that’s not how it works.   Solar and Moonbyul couldn’t believe on what they were hearing. “How could the manager be so homophobic?”, they thought. Both were very angry at that point. Somebody was saying that what they had wasn’t real. *FLASHBACK*January 2nd, 2013 2:08 PM- Where did those two went? – The oldest one asked while looking around.- They must have got into some toy. – Moonbyul responded. – We might just walk around for a bit and then come back here, so we can wait for them. 2:24 PM- The rehearsals been killing me… – Solar complained. – My body is all sore from dancing.- Yeah, don’t tell me. Last week I could barely move.- I just hope that this will be worth it and we can debut soon.- Me too... – Moonbyul responded.   They were again on the place they started.- Where those babies are? We’ve been walking for a least 15 minutes... – She said while putting her hand on Solar’s back.-AAAAHH… – The older screamed.- What’s wrong? – Byul asked, very concerned. – Are you hurt?- No… – Solar answered while sitting down on a bench that was near them. – Is just like I said, I’m sore.- Are you sure? I don’t think you were supposed to stream like that from just being sore… Maybe you should go to a doctor.   Solar tried to answer but got interrupted.- Hello unnies! – Wheein said, while approaching the older girls.- Finally! Where were you… Wait, where is Hyejin? – Moonbyul asked, surprised for not seeing the youngest one.- Oh, she went get some cotton candy.- Are you guys 5? – Solar asked. – We can’t even leave you alone for a second.- Says the girl who sleeps with a rainbow onesie. – Hwasa said as she heard Solar’s argument. *END OF FLASHBACK* - I can’t believe on this. – Solar said, incredulously. – That’s why people like us keep ridding themselves: BECAUSE OF PEOPLE LIKE YOU. – She shouted. – Let’s go! – She took Moonbyul’s wrist and drag her out of the building.   They got outside and Solar crouched, embracing her legs, and started to cry. Moonbyul felt like her heart had broken. Their situation was now more complicated than ever.- Unnie…   She tried to call her but, as she expected, no response, just a lot of sobs from crying. “This is it.”, she thought to herself while a tear came down her face. 4:00 PM   After Solar finally got up, they went home. Lucky they had no schedules planned for the day so it wasn’t that big of a deal. They stayed in bed, just looking at each other and holding hands. They tried to come up with a solution but they knew that that wasn’t possible. There was no way out, no second plan. It was obvious that this was going to happen at some point, they just didn’t thought that it was going to be so soon.- You know… – Solar broke the silence. – I actually thought, for a second, that we would never have to go thru this… That by some kind of magic things would be fine. – She sob, once again starting to cry.- Don’t… – Moonbyul brushed her dumb onto Solar’s cheek, caching the tear.   She was feeling useless. There was nothing that she could do to make the person that she loved the most stop crying. It was painful to see her like that and, as much as she wished that she could say “Things will get better”, she wasn’t sure of that herself.   Demonstrating her felling on times like this was one of the hardest things for her. She felt like she needed to be strong but, on reality, she never had felt more powerless than on that exact moment. *FLASHBACK*January 4th, 2013 7:32 AM - Omg, Solar, what you’re going here? – Said Moonbyul as soon as she saw her unnie walk into the dance studio.- I came to practice. – Solar responded, thinking that the answer was obvious.- Are you kidding me? – Byul responded on a higher tone. – There was a reason why I didn’t wake you up this morning. Your doctor said you should rest at least for a week.- But Byullie I can’t stay a full week at home. What about…- I already talked with the company for you. They said it was better for you to stay at home and rest than to get more injured. Now, go home.- But… – Solar tried to argue.- No “buts’”, you’re leaving. *END OF FLASHBACK* - We need to be strong. – Moonbyul said, still with her hand on her girlfriend’s face.   She sat up and brought Solar together with her.- I love you and even if they break us apart which, let’s be honest, is going to be the worse… – Moonbyul stopped seeing that those weren’t the best words for that moment. – Hmm… That will never change the way that I feel.  If to be with you means that I have to wait and go thru all the dates and rumors of some random guy, from some boy group, being your boyfriend, I…- Stop… – Solar said on a very low tone, interrupting. – We can’t… I… – As much as she wanted to cry, there were no more tears left. – We can’t make this to each other… I can’t make this to you.   She gave a heavy sigh and put her hands on her face, wiping of the rest of the tears.- I can’t make you wait for me forever. That wouldn’t be fair for neither of us.- Wait…아니 (No)… January 6th, 20166:03 AM-  Why did Moonbyul unnie slept on our room? – Hwasa said as she closed the door of the bedroom.- I don’t know. She asked me if we could switch and that was pretty much all she said. She didn’t answered why. – The sleepy Wheein responded – I ended up having to sleep on the couch because Solar keep crying and sobbing. She didn’t wanted to talk… I think that they may have broken up.- Oh, no…- This is going to be a mess. We have a performance today and I don’t think they…- Morning… – Said Moonbyul while getting out of Wheein and Hwasa’s bedroom, interrupting their conversation.- Morning. – The maknaes responded in synchrony.   Silence. The two young girls keep looking at each other but they couldn’t get the courage to say anything.- Unnie… – Hwasa tried. – I’m… I’m sorry.   Moonbyul gave her a fake smile. She couldn’t stay there, she needed to go.- I’m going out. I can’t… – She took a deep breath. – I can’t face her now.- Where you’re going? We have a performance today; you can’t stay out the whole day. – Said Wheein.- Yeah, I know… I’ll be there. – She responded and got out.   In that exact moment, Solar opened the door of her room. Her face was red from all the crying.   Wheein went to hug her, followed by Hwasa. They knew that she was way more sensible than Moonbyul. Solar hugged them thigh, letting more tears come down her face. She was tired of crying but she couldn’t control it. *FLASHBACK*January 4th, 2013 8:11 AM- You didn’t had to bring me… I can take care of myself. – Said Solar while she waited Moonbyul to open the door.- I just wanted to make sure you were actually coming home, besides… – Byul stepped inside. – How could I make sure that you would rest and not… I don’t know, clean the house or something?- Wow, you really piss me off sometimes.- That’s my job.- Ahhh… What’s up with this greasiness?- I just love to see your reaction. – Moonbyul said with a smirk. *END OF FLASHBACK* 6:27 AM- We need to go to the company. – Wheein said. – Are you coming?- That is the last place I want to be right know. – Solar responded.- Right. Are you sure you’re going to be fine?   Solar nodded her head and gave a fake smile.- Okay, we are going now. – Hwasa responded. – Don’t forget about the performance that we have later.   The maknaes left, leaving their unnie alone.   Solar sat on the couch and took her phone.6:28   “I’m so sorry Byullie. It was never my intention to hurt you. I wish things could be different.” 6:29 AM   Moonbyul stared at the message on her screen.6:29   “I wish things could be different too.”   She was at the Han River, simply because it was the only place that she could think of for two reasons:It was Solar’s favorite place;Was where all of this mess started.       Moonbyul was feeling empty. She wasn’t mad or angry, just empty. There wasn’t anything left. It felt weird, even to her, to think that she could be this attached to a person in such a short period of time. “Maybe this is how it was supposed to be.” She thought. 8:19 PM- Where is she? – Wheein said.   It was time for their performance but Byul was in no place to be seen. All the girls tried to call and text her but they got no responses back. They already had delated the performance in almost 20 minute.   Solar was so worried. “What if something bad happened to her? It’s all my fault…” she keep thinking. From the corner of her eye she could she their manager. He was freaking out, screaming with other staff members and walking around with his phone in his ear. He was about to have a break down.- We can’t wait anymore. – Said Hwasa. – We will have to perform without her.   They look at each other and Wheein went to talk with their manager. They couldn’t cancel the show, the fans were screaming their names and it was raining, cancelling it would make them feel terrible. Better perform with tree members than not perform at all.   They got into stage and the fans quickly notice that Byul was missing. Usually they would start with a song but, due to the circumstances, they had to talk about what was happening first:- Hello guys! As you probably can already tell Moonbyul is not with us today… – Solar was trying to come up with a good excuse. – She had something that she need to figure out… Don’t worry, she is fine (“I hope so...”). We are very sorry about this… – Solar continue talking. - Earlier-8:10 PM   Moonbyul looked at her watch. She was late.- What should I do? – She said covering her face with her hands.   Byul had spent the whole day on her sister’s house. Because they were similar in terms of age, she thought that she would understand what she was going though… At least a bit of it. They talked for hours and, for the first time in years, “the sister” saw Moonbyul cry. She could see how painful all of that was for her. She tried her best to give comfort to Byulyi so that she knew she was not alone; that she would always be there for her.   Moonbyul ended up falling at sleep on the couch. She woke up with the sounds of the plates, since her sister was putting them on the table. She got up, they ate together and talked for a bit more. It was time; she needed to make a decision:- What you want to do? – “The sister” said.   As much as that sounded like a cliché thing to say, it made a lot of sense: She needed to do what she wanted to do. 8:24 PM   For Moonbyul’s happiness, her sister’s place was relatively close to where they were supposed to perform. She took a taxi and got there in less than 15 minutes. Her heart was betting so fast and she was so nervous. She didn’t knew if her idea was the best but for sure was what she wanted. She got out of the cab and, because it was dark, Moomoos didn’t notice that it was her. She got backstage (Thankfully, she remember to take her access pass card before leaving home in the morning.).   She could see Solar now. She wasn’t smiling as she used to.   - They changed the routine. – She wisped to herself.   The next song they were going to sing was “Mr.애매모호 (Mr.Ambiguous)”.- I think this is my chance… – Moonbyul said to herself. – OMG, what am I doing? – She stared to freak out. – This is going to get us in so much trouble… No, you have to do this, just come down… 일단진정…일단진정…   She took a last deep breath and got herself into the stage. Fans saw her blond hair and started to scream immediately, making all the members look too.  They all stopped.- Are you still interested in me? – She said looking directly at Solar; she had to change the line a bit because of the circumstances.   Moomoos looked confuse. The music stopped, since nobody was moving or singing.   Solar stared at Moonbyul for a couple of seconds. She wanted to say something but noting came out. Tears where starting to form in her eyes.   Moonbyul gave her microphone to Hwasa, who was closer to her, and started to walk in Solar’s direction. She stopped when she was just a few inches away from her.- I’m sorry… – She said on a very low tone, more like a whisper.   Before Solar could even think, Moonbyul lips were on hers. It felt warm. She was now complete again. *FLASHBACK*January 4th, 2013 8:15 AM- Just stay here. – Moonbyul said while guiding Solar to her bed. – Go back to sleep. If you need anything, just scream.- I’m not a baby you know?- Are you sure, because you look like you’re five. – Byul said and giggle after.- I really hate your greasiness.- Lies… Ok, I’m going to watch a drama. Again, if you need me, just scream. – She said and got up from the bed.- Can’t you stay with me a little until I fall back to sleep? – Asked Solar while holding onto Moonbyul’s wrist.- OK.- What are you doing? – Solar asked seeing Byul sitting on the floor. – Come lie with me. – She said and path the empty space in the bed.- Omg, your hands are so cold. – Moonbyul said as she slightly touched them.   She took Solar’s hands and held them together with hers.- Why you’re always so warm? – Solar asked looking into Moonbyul’s eyes.- I don’t know.- Well, I might just take advantage of this moment then... – Solar said and hugged Moonbyul tightly. She rested her head on the youngest shoulder.   Moonbyul putted her arm around her; she already had closed her eyes.“She looks so peaceful…” – Byul thought. – “and cute. It seems like I’m not getting out of here so soon…”. *END OF FLASHBACK* THE END-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Hello guys :) Sorry it took me a while to upload this. I was honestly pissed at myself because I've been trying to finish this chapter for a week now and I couldn't get any ideas. I hope you guys can understand the flashback parts and just enjoy the chapter. I think the next one is going to be the last one, I not quite sure yet.ALSO...MAMAMOO IS COMING BACK IN FEBRUARY AND THE NEW SINGLE IS GOING TO BE RELEASED TOMORROW!! THE TEASER KILLED ME. I CAN'T WAIT.
