8. I Can Make You Love Me “No more riding bike down the stairs okay?”Taeyeon said that after she finished putting a cast on the little boy’s right leg.  The boy seems fine, he said that his leg wasn’t hurt at all, but Taeyeon knew better.  Taeyeon glanced at the little girl who stood near the head of hospital bed with big frown in her forehead.  Nurse Ga In said that the little girl refused to let his oppa’s hand go and followed him into the examination room.“Next time, ask your Appa to bring you both to the park. You can ride bike safely there.” Taeyeon prepared the walking stick that the boy would use for next 3 weeks.“We can’t, Appa is in heaven.” The little girl answered Taeyeon with happy smile.Taeyeon was taken back a little.  She squatted down in front of the little girl and extended her hand toward her.“Well, you haven’t introduce yourself to me. I know your oppa’s name already, so what’s your name little princess?”The little girl shyly reached out to Taeyeon’s hand and gave a little shake, “My name is Taeyeon.”“Wow! My name is Taeyeon too! How awesome is that!”  Taeyeon and the little girl gave each other a dorky grin. She cupped the girl’s right cheek and continued. “How about this Saturday we go to the park together? I can teach both of you how to ride a bike!” “I’m sorry, I can’t allow you to go out on a date with my daughter.” Taeyeon froze for a second.  She recognized the voice too well. She was afraid to turn her body around and faced the voice owner, but she missed her so much. She closed her eyes, stood up and moved her body around slowly. She opened her right eye first, her vision a little blur but she knew it was her. She walked in small steps to approach the woman that she hadn’t meet for 6 years.The woman in front of her had a beautiful smile, she patiently wait for Taeyeon to come closer to her. Taeyeon gave back a nervous smile.“Hi” The woman started the conversation. Taeyeon didn’t anwer her back, so she tried to say something else.“You look beautiful.”“I miss you Sica.”The woman’s smile got bigger after she heard the first word Taeyeon uttered to her after so many years.  Suddenly the door opened, ruining the moment. Hyensung and Nana popped in with big smile in their face.“Congratulations on your engagement Taeyeonnie!!” They threw confetti at Taeyeon’s head.Nana engulfed Taeyeon in a bear hug. “I’m so sorry that we couldn’t witness the surprise proposal. As an apology I decided to take over the rest of your shift so you’re free for today!”Hyensung were ruffling Taeyeon’s hair when he finally noticed the presence of another woman there. He peeled Nana from embracing Taeyeon.“OMG! Are you Tiffany-shi?  I’m so sorry, Nana, Taeyeon and I are close friend so don’t mind our skin ship before hehe.”  Hyensung saw the look in ‘Tiffany-shi’ face. It screamed danger, so he took Nana’s hand, pulled her out of the room and runaway. Taeyeon knew she was in a deep shit.“I can explain that Sicacu..”“What time you have to go to work tomorrow?” Jessica asked with toneless voice.“Hmm 10 in the morning. Why?”“Nothing, I just wondering if I kill you after this, I’ll have enough times to burry your body somewhere faraway.” Jessica whispered that in Taeyeon’s ear, she said that in hush as she didn’t want her kids to learn the word ‘kill’.
