chapter twenty-five (1/2)
Talking was a lot easier to think about rather than actually doing, and for Lee Byunghun talking was something that gave him nightmares.
He ran into him at the store, literally ran right into Chanhee at the store in the middle of the frozen foods and ice cream.
"B-Byunghun." Chanhee said, voice lower than Byunghun remembered.
Byunghun shivered at the sound anyway, he didn't realize how much he missed it. He looked up, and that's when he noticed Moonchul, gripping onto Chanhee's hand and staring down at Byunghun with cold eyes.
"C-C-Chanhee, w-we need to t-t-ta-talk, p-please?" Byunghun cringed at his stutter.
Moonchul watched Chanhee's face soften, his eyes show millions of emotions, his head drop down as he nodded, and almost unconsciously lightly wrap his pinky around the shorter boys, tugging him away from Moonchul in the gentlest way.

"C-Chanhee, w-what would you do if I said I have a r-reply to your c-co-confession?" Byunhun hated how much he stuttered around the older.
Chanhee shrugged in reply, "Depends."
"Wha-what would you do if I said I l-l-love y-you?" Byunghun cringed at how weak he sounded and wouldn't be surprised if Chanhee hit him.
He was surprised when Chanhee sighed, "I-I want you to prove it, if you really do than, Byunghun."
Byunghun looked up at him through his hair, a smile on his face that was a mix of shy and sad, a look that made Chanhee's heart thump so hard he grabbed his chest in shock, "I'd kiss you right now, but your boyfriend's right there."
Chanhee's never forgotten how to breathe before.
