Filler Chapter: Soyou (1/1)

Today was the day. The big day that would change her life forever. That girl just admired herself in the full length vintage looking mirror for one last time. Just one last time. The mirror completely reflects the elegance that she has and her white wedding dress embroidered with the smallest of crystals all lined up to create such a masterpiece, just adds a bigger emphasis on her elegance. Her radiance. Everything in her that was just hidden for a long time. She admired the way her face shone with truthful glee for the first time in her life. She hated to think that this moment now, was the only time she has ever been happy. The only time she has felt this indescribable emotion of content. ‘But it’s the truth. And you know it.’ her mind retaliated mockingly at her. She shook her head back and forth as if to stop that thought from haunting her more than it already was. She shook her head so she wouldn’t have to be faced with memories of her past way of life. And with one last look at the mirror, her face to face with her own reflection, she thought, ‘I am going to finally be okay.’ ----------- She stood at the far corner of the room, looking out the window. She saw the almost blue clouds but not quite since grey clouds towered above them. She has always been fond of looking at clouds and she loved the way that they were there, an essence of life, of the earth, no matter what color they were. They were there to remind her that the earth wasn’t that bad. That even with the corruptible moments in life there were simply fleeting moments of beauty that can never be replaced. She thought of him, the man she loves with all her heart, as a the cloud that put up the sun in her world. She smiled at the thought of that. A smile that was worthy to be seen by anyone.  “Someone’s obviously happy.” Dasom, one of her most truly beloved best friends, said as she strode over to where the beautiful soon to be married lady stood. “Of course she’s happy. It’s finally happening. I remember her dreaming of this day ever since she was in high school. Ever since she started dating the man she loves.” Hyorin unnie, the other best friend she was blessed to have in her life, loudly stated as she gently stroked her soon to be married best friends hair that was not up in a bun.  “Soyou unnie are you ready? The car’s waiting for us.” Dasom cheerfully asked the lady that was just smiling from to ear to ear at this point without an ounce of word that came out. “Yes dongsaeng. Of course I’m ready. Ready as I’ll ever be.” she managed to cleanly say out of her mouth without even breaking any of her words because of all the excitement. Sometimes when people are so excited they stutter and just their words all come out wrong and broken in pieces and it all just turns out into a mess. ------------  The venue of the anticipated wedding was set up outside in a secluded area that was shady enough not to burn the guests, not that it mattered since there was not even a high amount of sunlight currently present, which to some may be a bad sign of omen. The middle of the venue was sprinkled with roses that would be where the lovely couple would proclaim their vows to each other. It would just be a magical moment for two amazing people in love. Guests were piling up one by one to their assigned seats. One guest in particular was dressed in such a sophisticated and breathtakingly mesmerizing dress that one would think she would be the one getting married that very day. She wasn’t seating with the many others but was isolated in the side where she made eye contact with the man to be married. They shared a glint of mischief in their eyes and any idiot would guess that trouble was on the way.   ----------- Soyou and the limo she was in finally arrived at the venue of the wedding only to be met with a scene that was purely heartbreaking. Purely enraging and just way too much to handle for someone who was already breaking. Someone who was already losing their fucking mind. Someone who was already dying of sadness and emptiness. Someone who was, okay I’m sure you get the drift.  The scene she was witnessing now was that the only man she has ever loved was happily getting married to someone else. Someone much better than her.Someone much more beautiful than her. Someone who can make him smile in a way that she had never been able to all this time in their relationship.Someone that she knew all along was a betrayer to her.Someone that Hyorin unnie already warned her about.Someone she used to consider a friend. Someone that was Wang Fei Fei.  On the corner of her eyes she saw her very own so called father smirked in her direction and give a look of satisfaction that he once again found a way to ruin her already messed up life. She knew she was just adopted and the only one that ever wanted her in this family was her mother, the wife of that evil bastard she grew up to call her father, and her brother that was in the US not able to witness her wedding (now a failed wedding) and someone that truly cared for her in this family after her mother had entered a better place. A place where she desperately wanted to go too. Without her mother and her brother, she was left in the illusion of care from her jackass of a father. She returned the gaze of her father with a look of disappointment that emphasized that he once again won. Not only did he win in destroying her life but also gained a new business deal with Fei’s parents. A deal that was clearly more important than his ‘daughters’ feelings. ----------- Soyou just stayed in that limo with a sympathetic Dasom and a very furious Hyorin. They wanted to just storm out of that limo and rip the shit out of that bitch’s hair. But, they didn’t for the sake of Soyou and with her pleading and tears just made them refrain themselves back. Their best friend needed them right now and that’s exactly where they were going to stay at. By her side until she was okay. All three of them were just silent. Just staring at the celebration that was taking place outside. When it finally ended, So You was met with the gaze of the very man she still loves even if he broke her heart. The gaze of the one and only Kim Sunggyu. He gave her a nonchalant nod as if he didn’t do anything wrong. As if he didn’t just break her heart into a million pieces that seemed impossible to be fixed at this point. When she turned to the lady that was triumphantly holding the hands of Sunggyu, her tears were now turned into a full sob. Her action was met with a glare from Fei, her ex friend, in which she didn’t see because her head was now in the lap of Dasom, who was stroking her hair gently and whispering calming words to her. In a blink of a second the door to the limo was flung opened and Soyou was drastically dragged out of the limo and flung towards the ground. All the guests who were there and who were already about to leave stopped in there tracks, and watched the scene in front of them with interest. “You bitch! Do you think Sunggyu is stupid enough to marry someone like you? A low class bitch who wasn’t wanted by her biological parents nor her adopted parents. Why are you crying now? I should be the one crying since you took Sunggyu away from me. Four fucking years ago!” Fei shouted menacingly and pounced on her like mad cat, scratching and pulling on her hair.. “You already have him! You all already broke my existence! So just stop and leave me alone!” Soyou yelled while she pushed Fei away from her, tears uncontrollably came out from her face and she slowly started to get up but was pushed back down by Suzy, one of Fei’s friends, who in turn was bitch slapped by a very very angry Dasom.  Hyorin rushed over to Soyou and helped her up while Dasom busily beat the crap out of Suzy, well mainly her hair. Soyou met eyes with all the guests who were murmuring gossip, something that she was used too, and were giving her the dirty eye that made her embarrassed. She right then and there wanted to end her life, but Hyorin and a newcomer’s hand that held both sides of her very own, stopped her from quickly running to the road, the road that was the exit to that vicious place, where a truck was passing by. She looked at who the newcomer was and it was her brother, Kang Jaemin. Jaemin warmfully smiled at her and tightly held her hands. She looked at her brother gaze viciously at all the bastards that dared hurt his sister including his very own ass of a father. And with one last menacing gaze at Sunggyu, Jaemin quickly led his sister out of the place and out of the cruelty of heartless human beings, with Dasom, who successfully won the fight with Suzy, and Hyorin, who was thankful that Jaemin arrived just in time, right behind them. -----------  That night. Was the night that Soyou once again, cried herself to sleep.

This all happened during the season of spring, the season of new beginnings and hope.
