True Love Is The Way (1/1)
'Where are we going?' Tiffany had grabbed Taemins hand and they were running up so many stairs that the boy was all out of breath and sweaty. They were inside one of the towers and Tiffany went on ahead and unlocked the door and she brought Taemin into a large spacious room with no furniture except for a large gold mirror that took up nearly the entire wall. Tiffany went up to it and placed her hand on the glass and it ripple like water with lots of different colours flashing across it and Taemin could hear her muttering, 'Please be there...please be there.' Suddenly the rippling stopped and there in the mirror looking tired and agitated was...'Minho!' Taemin ran forward but then Tiffany stopped him and said, 'Please Minho tell me all that's happening.' The soldier sighed and Taemin noticed he had dark circles under his eyes and his skin was all pale. 'It's getting pretty bad. Key is getting...irrational and he's so angry. He's sent nearly all of his servants to the dungeons for the littlest things and well...I am worried of my own position now but I am doing my best to keep my nose clean.' He snuck a look at Taemin and the boy really wished he was there with him because he looked so alone. 'Never fear my friend. I've found something.' She held up her mothers Magic book and said, 'In here there is a remedy that says if a Heartless persons heart is restored to them and they are kissed by someone who truly loves them the evil will be wiped out. Is...he there?' A small smile played on Minhos lips and he said, 'Yes, however it make be difficult to get him to help.' Taemin was confused at the 'he' they were talking about but kept his mouth shut for fear of looking stupid. 'You must try. We don't have much time now Minho. Good luck.' He nodded to the Queen and before he disappeared he looked at Taemin again and his face said, 'I'll see you soon...' Soon Taemin was left alone with the Queen and she smiled at him knowingly, 'You better get to your room. I have some things to do and...you need your rest.' She lead him back downstairs and to his room where she left him alone with his thoughts. He didn't feel like sleeping so he just sat on the little couch by his window staring into space and wrapping his cloak around him. He adjusted his legs and then somerging fell out of the cloaks pocket. Weird. He didn't remember putting anything in there. He reached down and noticed it was a small gold compact mirror about the size of his hand with a piece of paper attached to it with the words: 'Open it and let the sun shine on it. I'll be waiting.' Taemin smiled and with slightly shaking hands he opened it and turned it towards the sun and the glass shimmered like the mirror upstairs and soon Minhos handsome face was in front of him smiling. 'Hello Taemin.' The boy grinned and said, 'Hyung are you ok?! Tell me you're ok!' Minho smiled and said, 'I am ok. What about you? How's the White Kingdom?' Taemin sat back and said, 'It's beautiful. Tiffany is really nice to me but...I miss you.' He said the words that had been weighing him down and he wasn't sure how the man would respond but he didn't care. Luckily the older man was still smiling like a big goofball and to Taemins delight he said, 'I miss you too. When this is all over I'll come find you again. I promise.' Taemin nodded thinking he could hardly wait but then his brothers face flashed into mind and his smile dropped. 'What's wrong love?' The boy blinked and stammered quickly, 'I...I just...my brother. How can I get back to my brother?' He almost forgot about the fact that the whole time he was here he kept asking to go home. 'I see. You still wish to return home. I fall goes well...we can arrange something.' Taemin now felt really bad for opening his big stupid mouth again and seeing the look on Minhos face he said, 'Look it's ok. I do want to see you again when this is over. We can work something out. I'm fine.' He smiled at the older man who said gently, 'That kiss was pretty good.' Taemin felt his cheeks heat up and he said, 'It was. But you ask permission next time. Otherwise my bad ballet skills might come in handy...' Minho hated to say goodbye to Taemin but he had to act on Tiffanys plan quickly or Key was going to die. He closed the little compact and hid it away before heading off to find Jonghyun. The guy was his last hope saving his king and putting the two kingdoms of this realm back together. He had got to the Hall of Hearts and gently lifted the Red Ones heart and it felt cold in his hands but he dismissed it as he wrapped it up and put it in his cloak. He also found Jonghyuns heart which was red and warm in his hands and he left it unwrapped because if this was going to work right Jonghyun needed his heart beating inside him. He then left the Hall and marched to the dungeon finding Jonghyn laying there in his cell staring dead at the ceiling. 'Time to fix things Jonghyun...' He approached the man slowly and knelt down beside him placing the heart over his chest, closing his eyes as he pushed it back inside him cringing at the squishing sound it made but when he heard Jonghyun gasp he knew he got it right. 'Hyung?' He opened his eyes and held on to the mans hand as he looked around him and whispered, 'Where am I?' His big eyes found Minho and he said, 'What have you done?' Minho held his hand tighter and said, 'What's right...now listen to me. I have something for you to do.' Jonghyun slowly sat up and he said, 'What's that?' Minho chose his words carefully and he said speaking slowly, 'Key is dying. Everything that has been tried to save him hasn't worked. But I spoke with the White Queen...' Jonghyuns eyes widened and he said, 'Are you serious?! How did you get her?!' Minho grabbed the olders shoulders and said, 'That's not the point! The point is that you can save the person you love here and now if you want to. Please...do this not for me but for Key. He needs you...'
