Arriving (1/1)
The last few days has passed by quickly. Besides having to dress as guys, I was still excited. Haylie and I got off the plane and went to the suitcase pick up place (I don't remember what it's called =P). I found my purple plaid duffel bag and dark red suitcase that has my signature dance things on it. The things were just bumper stickers and things like that.Haylie's things were a zebra printed duffel bag and her black suitcase splattered with green paint. We had stuffed are small dance bags into our suitcases. We just needed our things to pop and stand out so we knew what to look for.We got our stuff and turned around and looked for a person holding up a sign for us. Oh yeah, that’s right, we ourselves got a chauffeur! Haylie found him in a crowd of other older men in suits and hats. We followed him to the car. At the moment, we were in dresses and shorts. Pretty obviously, the two of us needed to change. Oh, and in exciting news, I got a friend of mine to hook Hayls and me up with some wigs. The two of us absolutely loved our long locks! It took me about 2 years to get my hair to the bottom of my back. Haylie’s hair was much shorter – it was only at her boobs. Finally, we made a left turn into the hotel parking lot. I checked us in and headed to the room 502. The chauffeur, Mr. Jung, helped take our bags. We swiped the key and the door unlocked. The room was pretty and decent. It wasn't one of those over the 5 star hotels where there were flat screens and everything. There was a TV, phone, bathroom, and two beds. It was all we needed.Mr. Jung gave us his card and told us if we needed him, call him. We took his card, and he left. Haylie went straight to the bathroom. She kept complaining about how I didn't tell her to use the bathroom before we left."Haylie, for the last time, you could've came with me when I said, 'I'm going to the bathroom. You want to come?' What did you say? You said, 'Oh, no! I'm fine. I'll be here with the luggage. You go ahead.'" I was mimicking her voice. She hated when I did that. She came out in her pajamas. She wore her teddy bear shirt with blue shorts. I had changed while she was inside. I was wearing my favorite Elmo top and black shorts. I've loved Elmo my whole life. I know I'm 19. I don't care! Elmo should be almost 40 by now, but no, he has been 4 years old his whole life and so will I!The Manager said to call him when we arrived. I turned on my phone. YIKES! 17 text messages, 28 missed calls, 22 voice messages, and 1 E-mail. Guess who they all came from? Mommy! All they said were, 'Oh my babies!' or 'I miss you!' or 'I love you! <3' or 'Call me when you arrived!' or 'Why haven't you called me yet! I love you!' or 'I need to hear my babies' voices! Call me!' and everything like that. I quickly called her. She answered on the second ring."OH KAYLIE! ARE YOU OKAY! HOW'S YOUR SISTER? WHY DIDN'T YOU CALL EARLIER?" I already put her on speaker.I said, "MOM! We're okay! Stop screaming! I didn't call you earlier because the flight was delayed and I couldn't get signal in the airport to tell you! I'm sorry."Haylie said, "Hi, Mom. I miss you. It's fun here already. The hotel room is cool. But I like it at home better."Mom sighed in relief. "Oh, Hayls, I miss you, too. Why was it Kaylie who called me and not YOU?" I wasn't shocked, but I pretended like I was. "*GASP* I call you and all you do is say, 'Why was it Kaylie who called me...'!"Mom knew I was playing around and laughed. "Sorry sweetie, I didn't mean it like that. I love you! MWAH!"I giggled. "Mwah to you, too, Mommy!"Haylie said, "I love you, too. We need to call the manager now. It's almost 11 at night here." I could tell my mom was pouting through the phone. She was such the kid."Okay, girls. Goodnight. Call me tomorrow though!"Haylie and I said at the same time, "Love you, Mom! Night." We hung up.Time to call the manager. "Hello, Sir. It's Lee Soohae. My sister and I got to South Korea just fine. Thank you for paying."He said, "It’s okay. You don't have to call me Sir. Call me Manager Oppa. But remember: around the guys, Hyung. You don't have to be so formal either. And that's good you two are safe. I will leave you to sleep now. Don't forget: you have a practice with the group tomorrow morning. Sleep well."I smiled. "Okay, Goodnight."We went to sleep. We had a lot to do tomorrow.
