A day with XiuMin and the (1/1)

Kris made his way through the crowd with XiuMin and Alana on tow. He was excited to see Serena. They had not spent time for more than three months because while his girlfriend was busy modeling and doing runways, EXO M was busy promoting in China again. They finally got the chance to return to Korea for a month break.Kris greeted Serena with a long passionate kiss. Alana looked away when she felt the familiar tug in her heart. XiuMin blushed profusely at the sight and looked away as well. Serena greeted XiuMin with a smile and started talking to Alana, asking the latter about life and Alex. Kris just grinned happily seeing his two favourite women getting along well. No. Kris didn’t know that Alana was in love with him. No. He didn’t realize that Alana was being extremely civilized and reserved than her usual bright outgoing personality. All he saw was the fake smile on Alana’s face and he was satisfied.Alana watched the golden couple silently with a smile plastered on her face. Serena was beautiful. She was tall and slim and just drop dead gorgeous. She was kind and loyal. She was friendly and shy. She was perfect. She was the ideal woman. She was the dream girl. She was Kris’s lover. She was everything Alana was not, but it was the last fact that made Alana sad and green with envy though she was careful not to show it on her face. She was used to this whole faking a smile whenever Kris and Serena get together drama because she had done it once too many. She was happy for Kris, really she was because he was her best friend after all.. But she was also in love with him and a mother to his child, so being hurt albeit unintentionally was inevitable.She dreamed of a life where she was with a man who loved her for her she was and accepted Alex as his own child. She hoped that Kris could be that man, but he never would be. Kris was Alex’s father, but he would never know that. She was in love with Kris, and Kris would never know that too. These secrets she would keep until her death. Forced secrecy was the life she had to live with. Why? She didn’t want to be the one who destroys Kris’s career. She didn’t want to be the one who ruins EXO. Most importantly, she didn’t want to be the one who hurts Kris. Because no matter how much Kris loved her, he only saw her as a friend. He would never love her the way he loved Serena.“Layne, you okay?”Alana snapped back to reality when she heard Kris’s voice. She looked up at his face and saw concern etched on it as his eyebrows furrowed. She smiled at him reassuringly and continued eating. XiuMin nudged her with his elbow gently. She looked at him and almost laughed at his face. She couldn’t believe this guy was older than she was. Currently he had his mouth stuffed with food, eyes round questioningly and cheeks chubbier than they usually were. He really looked like a hamster. He tilted his head as if waiting for an answer. She realized she wasn’t listening to him.“Sorry, what did you say?”XiuMin rolled his eyes and swallowed before speaking. “I asked if you wanted to ditch this lovely couple and go to the arcades..”Alana trailed her gaze at the said couple and tried hard not to choke a sob as she saw Kris gazing lovingly at his lover. She snapped her eyes back to XiuMin and grinned cheekily.“Sure you aren’t too old for arcades, oppa?”XiuMin narrowed his gaze on her. “Oh, it’s on.”“I’ll show you who is old you young mother who only calls me oppa whenever you tease me.. aish..” XiuMin muttered under his breath as he continued attacking cutting up his steak and shoved the pieces into his mouth crossly.Alana laughed at XiuMin’s antics and XiuMin turned his face away from her, smirking secretly. He made her laugh. XiuMin was no mind reader but he could tell Alana was not as comfortable as she portrayed herself to be in the presence of Kris and Serena. He didn’t know why, but he hated to see the woman who had done so much for EXO hurting. … “Yah! XiuMin oppa! You’re supposed to shoot into your own hoop. Stop messing with mine!” Alana yelled while smacking XiuMin on his left bicep as he continued messing her aims and shots with his left hand and shoot into his own basketball hoop with his right.Ding!Alana groaned when the bell dinged indicating that the time was up. She shrieked when she saw her score and started hitting XiuMin’s arms irately.“Now.. now.. who’s old?” XiuMin asked wiggling his brows mischievously.Alana huffed. “That wasn’t fair! You totally messed up my game!”XiuMin made a motion ‘no-no’ motion with his forefinger and smirked. “Tsk tsk.. details.. details..”“I hate you so much right now..” Alana hissed at the older male who just laughed and dragged her toward other games.Alana stopped her tracks, causing XiuMin to stop too. She grinned evilly and pointed at Deadstorm Pirates.“Let’s play that one..”XiuMin looked at the game booth/ship/whateveritwascalled and suppressed a shiver. He hated skeletons. He hated ghosts. “That’s no fun.. Let’s play o-”“Are you scared, oppa?” She sneered at him, eyes glinting in excitement and mischief. Alana could see XiuMin gulping and she smirked.Payback time. … Alana was dragging a pale XiuMin behind her as she searched for Kris. Luck was on her side, it was him who found them.Kris was frowning and he went straight to XiuMin and grabbed the older male’s shoulder. “Ge! You totally ditched me just now.. How could you?! You know Serena was leaving after lunch! Why didn’t you wait for me? I had to search for you all over and I even met crazy fan girls and.. XiuMin ge! Are you listening?!” XiuMin remained silent, still looking dazed and not in a good way. Alana had to bite back a smile.“Ge..” Kris shook XiuMin’s shoulders a bit but the elder remained passive. “Yah.. XiuMin ge! What’s wrong with you?”Concluding that XiuMin wasn’t going to respond to him, Kris turned to Alana. He raised his brow when he saw her grinning triumphantly.“We played Deadstorm Pirates.. there was a lot of skeletons and ghosts and gunfires..” Alana said in her smiling glory.To a stranger, what she said didn’t make sense at all, but Kris was no stranger. He understood perfectly. He chuckled and started to pinch XiuMin’s baozi cheeks - hard. That had always done the trick. And he was right. XiuMin snapped awake from his daze and reprimanded Kris.“Yah!”Kris and Alana laughed as XiuMin rubbed his sore cheeks. Kris grabbed Alana’s hand and intertwined their fingers. She stared at their locked hands and looked up at a smiling Kris. She smiled a little. It was times like this made her feel happy and love him even more. Suddenly, Kris winked at her and she knew what was coming.Kris turned to XiuMin, grinning impishly.“Last one to the car is a rotten baozi!!!”With that, he sprinted forward, pulling Alana along. It took XiuMin 30 seconds to react and he sprinted after them. Kris punched the button to the elevator open and dashed inside. XiuMin was about three strides away from them when the door closed on him.“YAAAH!!!”They heard XiuMin yelling and both broke into laughter as the elevator moved towards their parking floor.Well, at least she’s smiling and laughing now.. was what XiuMin thought of as they heard their laughter from outside. Yeap, they were loud. XiuMin smiled as decided to take the stairs. It was only two floors up anyway. He turned around with a grin on his face but it was soon wiped off of his face. He broke in cold sweat as he saw fangirls. Everywhere.He gulped and forced a smile as he waved at the crowd politely. He winced when they started squealing and shrieking.Well, time to run!XiuMin immediately push the door to the stairs open and broke into a run. The crowd of fangirls rushed after him and he had to literally run around the mall, out of the mall and into the busy streets.I’mma kill those two for leaving me behind! XiuMin thought as panted. His mind was busy plotting ways to murder the two best friends when he got home.. well, if he got home.“KYAAA!!!! XIUMIN OPPA!!!”XiuMin snapped his head up and groaned. I’m too old for this.“OPPA!! TAKE A PICTURE WITH ME!!”“OPPA! MARRY ME!!His eyes, however, widened when he saw there were too many of them. They were literally pulling on his jacket and grabbing him everywhere. XiuMin gasped when somebody actually grabbed his butt and another brushed his crotch.Holy crap! XiuMin took off his jacket and flung it to the fangirls before breaking into another run. He could hear the girls yelling and cussing at each other to get his jacket. It was a gift from Chen and XiuMin knew Chen was going to kill him for ‘losing; it, but hell, he had to save his life first.    A/N : Idk. I think a panicked XiuMin is adorable.. ^^
