She's about to lose her mind because she's hearing it's pulled out of her craziest dreams. She knew Chaeyoung wasn't her best friend's daughter but she never thought the alpha that Jihyo hated so much was under the same roof all the time "You faked everything...?"Momo avoided Jeongyeon's gaze by pretending to check her nose"You said you didn't remember anything, asshole""Jihyo, no" Mina almost begged putting her hands on her alpha's shoulders to stop her "Chaeyoung is scared, please stop""I let you in my house!" Chaeyoung is snuggled on Jihyo's lap with her favorite tiger inside her arms and not wanting to be away from the alpha, when Jeongyeon tried to take her away she almost throws a tantrum. Chaeyoung is a smart girl and she knows what just happened but that doesn't mean she won't be scared. She still a baby and this is foreign for herOutside, just below the cherry tree, Nayeon tends to Momo's wounds with swift mastery while Jeongyeon waits for Sana whom they called not so long ago"Ouch..." Jihyo hissed as Mina put some alcohol on the wound on her eyebrow, wiping the blood running down the side of her face. Chaeyoung looks up, her eyes worried and anxious. Jihyo starts to laugh and ruffles the little girl's hair affectionately "I'm fine, I'm fine""You okay?" Chaeyoung makes a great effort to articulate more words. Her face in deep concentration as she rests her head on Jihyo's chest "No hurt mom?""I'm okay, baby tiger""Mom is strong, Chaeyoungie" Mina replies with a gentle smile"Of course I am! And as long as Chaeyoungie keeps loving me like this I'll be the strongest alpha ever okay?"Chaeyoung was more than satisfied with that answer and within minutes she was squealing and playing on Jihyo's lap, babbling more words than she should and trying to bring her favorite stuffed animal to life. She's been dreading this day ever since Momo told her the whole truth and she tried so hard to avoid it that she completely forgot to face it.The omega subconsciously drew a line between her and Jihyo, not knowing how far she could go or what she could do because even though right now she wanted to hug her and give her a good lecture about how she can't go through life beating up all the people who make her angry, what Mina wanted to tell most was that Momo's arrival won't change all the years they have togetherAnd as always, Jihyo has that special talent of reading her wife perfectlyThe alpha grabbed her hand, playing absently with her fingers. I felt betrayed, used and very confused"Their little girl has fallen asleep judging by the absence of noise. Mina makes sure to cover her with a blanket and wish her good night before returning to Jihyo"Why?" Jihyo barely muttered and Mina approached her again "Even with everything she's done, why do you forgive her?"“Momo is still my childhood friend. I met her when I was six years old and she became my compass, I only had her and I guess that's what helped me stay alive even when I didn't want to. Deep down, I'm grateful she is here again, knowing she is still alive is a huge relief"Mina took a deep breath and then wrapped Jihyo's hands around her, a silent request for a hug."Are you going to…?" Jihyo was quiet for a long moment after that, Mina thought she had fallen asleep and looked up only to meet crystalline eyes and a deep confusion on the alpha face “Are you going to leave with her?
